Thanks for all the support guys! sudo apt-mark unhold libsdl2-2.0-0 has already been run in terminal in the hope that a fix comes in soon

Ive sent Stephen Anthony a PM to report the bug, hopefully this issue will be resolved in the new version that's currently being Beta tested. Thank you for all your support in trying to get this resolved, hopefully itll be fixed in time for next years high score tournament!

Okay, this is getting strange, I have Stella installed as you can see in the vid. I run sudo apt install libsdl2-2.0-0:i386=2.0.4+dfsg1-2ubuntu2 then Stella disappears! https://youtu.be/2U57PDGX6i0

Would love to test the new Ubuntu version when its available, Ive only just upgraded to Ubuntu 18.04 and Im unable to run the current version of Stella for some reason.... Will the new version run on my current Ubuntu hardware? Acer Aspire AX3810 CPU E5200 2GB DDR3 HDD 320 X4500 Integrated Graphics OS Ubuntu 18.04 If it will, then Im more than happy to give the new version a thorough testing

ORIGINALLY POSTED ON THE UBUNTU FORUM (BY ME) Good evening, good morning & good afternoon! I have recently installed Ubuntu 18.04 for the first time and have started playing round with the system and installing the new softwareI require. VLC, Gimp, OpenShot, Ardour and Audacity all work perfectly fine on the first installation but for some unknown reason I cannot get Stella (Atari 2600 Emulator) to work? It looks like it installs fine but when I hit run following the download nothing happens, I have tried going into programs and the Stella button is there, but again, if I click on it I get a spinny wheel for a few seconds and then nothing…… Does anyone know what is causing this issue? I love playing Atari 2600 and I have been running Stella in Windows fine for years…. Please help! CX40

Pole Position and Berzerk were always going to be on my BIN list, they were right up there in my top 5 when I originally collected. Pitfall II however, I never played until last week as I never owned it and am yet to download Stella.... I was never searching for Pitfall II either, I was searching for the original Pitfall when this cart popped up as tested and not working on UK evilbay for a very good buy it now price. 5 minutes with some Isopropyl and she's working fine!
