  1. Unrelated: that is shocking! My localish retro arcade has it! Related: Why was I looking for Supervisions on ebay yesterday!! Quite a few with battery corrosion issues where I guess people have left old batteries in. Maybe worth a gamble to clean up, depends how far the acid went...
  2. I think the suggestion before to have the best chance of the CD ones working was to wipe the card then copy the CD games on perhaps once at a time then add ROMS later. Don't go deleting some files, adding others back on etc ie so they get spread over the card. More chance of them working if stored together. No guarantee but it might help.
  3. Local arcade has the 4 player cabinet. Never knew there was an Amiga version. Doesn't look like I missed much sadly as the port is bad!
  4. I just spat my coffee out at the photo of it mounted to your bike!!!!!!! Amazing
  5. Perhaps get an old modded PSP then you can run all sorts including Lynx, would cost less than your Lynx is worth and you could sell it afterwards
  6. Went to my favorite local(ish) ret ro arcade at the weekend, 300+ cabs and they have made a few changes including adding these two
  7. If you flip the screen and play it upside down, it's like actually being drunk 😂
  8. Just played this at lunch on my Lynx. Excellent little game! Really well presented etc. I was also going to mention the plateau thing as I eventually clocked it back to 0 after getting to 99999 I'm sure if you added some more features like the arcade ie few more backgrounds and change direction, make the difficulty increase, the mini games, you could definitely sell it as a standalone cart. I think I had an older one as it didn't save the score on a reboot so I will download the latest one EDIT ah 1.4 shows the high score. A save option would be great if you expanded the game etc Oh if you did decide to do a full blown version/release, a slightly longer tune which doesn't loop as quickly would be good, got it stuck in my head now 😅
  9. I do but I don't have a analogue pocket 😅 Yes a lot save to the cart. Only issue is if the batteries go at the exact point they are saving, had that with Puzzle Bobble before and it scrubbed my save so I had to clear all 99 rounds again.
  10. Amazing thread. RoadBlasters is an excellent port. I didn't have it on my Lynx back in the day but do now. Always play it a lot on my localish retro arcade when I visit, their other site further away has a sit on Stun Runner too
  11. I have this too, love it and it plays well. Only issue for me is it's mostly in Japanese but you can figure out most of the menu. I didn't know about the gadgets you mention, off to see if there's a guide for it now!
  12. Cynicaster love the setup! I need to sort a permanent solution. I had a temporary one for a while but it wasn't ideal, or safe I was playing Under Defeat on the DC over the weekend as it happens, quite good, need to put more time into it.
  13. Did it come with any disks etc in case there is some software/code worth saving
  14. The arcade original of Touring Car is also twitchy. My local arcade has the sit down cabinet. It is ok but I'm certain it would be far better if the cars handled more like the arcade Daytona
  15. I do when I visit a localish retro arcade here in the UK. Quite terrible at it though!
  16. Good list above A few more. Chaos Engine - overhead run and gun. Agony - side scrolling shooter. Pinball Dreams/Fantasies/Illusions.
  17. There are simularities with the hardware. Same CPU and speed. Naomi had a more powerful PowerVR2 and twice the main and video memory. Atomiswave was much closer to the Dreamcast hence how in recent years those titles have been modded to work on the DC with almost no downgrading required That DC joypad adapter is lovely!
  18. He posts on EAB, must be working on Wipeout for a '680*0' PiStorm Amiga (it was actually released for PPC ones) ... https://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=115791&highlight=incremental
  19. Think they only sold a few NTSC ones before having to stop due to some parent lawsuit which eventually ruined them. It will probably need recapping by now but in the UK I expect it would sell for £250-300 especially as the box is in good condition. The Amiga section is small on here, I would advertise it on the EAB forum which has Amiga users from all over the world. I apologise if this breaks forum rules linking to another... https://eab.abime.net/
  20. If you had a MD+CD+32x isn't that 16+16+32 so 64bits just like the Jag? 😄

    GORF on MAME

Pretty sure the one in my local arcade is darker like on that right but of course that all comes down to the ancient monitor, adjustment etc so no idea if that is 'correct' or not
  22. The talk at that convention was mostly good putting aside the drama Hearing stories from back in the day by him and Walter were good. It then dragged on a bit with this case stuff, would have been nice to hear more about the old days.
  23. I thought the hardware ie the chips etc were all the same, it was just different manufacturers built the boards up themselves but all to the same specification.
