Right now it is physical cart only. If there are 100 orders of the cart by March 24 there will be box, overlay, manual and rom option for $20 more. There is no rom only option at this time or possibly ever.

I get it. I have a 600xl, 800xl and 130xe. The 800xl is tricked out with Sophia 2, U1MB, SIDE3 and Fujinet so I am set. But when I had a chance to get a 400 with aftermarket keyboard cheap I jumped on it. Bumped it up to 48k and it's pretty nice. But like others said there is content it won't run even with 48k. I even have some game carts that will not run on a 48k 400. I say get the 400 and if a XL or XE jumps in your lap then get it as well. (I also ordered the 400 mini)

Couple year ago on the Intellivision a version of GB was released that looked more like the Atari 2600 version. But this year a new Ultimate version is coming out with enhanced graphics, cutscenes, 6 channel sound and around 20 voice samples. It also uses the existing account number logic from back in the day making your old accounts usable on this version. Imagine what could be done with the A8 hardware today.

Found another game that does not seem to work with the Analogue Duo jailbreak. http://www.pcengine.co.uk/HTML_Games/Sol_Bianca.htm (physical disk may work) Tried multiple images of the disk and they always say CD Not Supported. Still, not bad. Probably over 99% success on images of original disk games. I did find that almost all the rom files I had on my Chinese SD Card cart would not work so had to find better quality ROM files which worked perfectly. My success with english translated ROMs and Disk Images was probably around 50%. I managed to get almost every ROM and CD image on a 256gb SD card. There are some demo disks I didn't bother with. And I limited my Hucard ROMs to just the finished games. No betas, sound ROMs or technical demos as they were very hit or miss and just clutter things up. So about 800 games on my SD card (obviously includes a lot of dupes of games released in both Japan and NA).

To be fair to Inty-Home I believe he is creating games that represent what he believes we would have got back in the day. Using the memory limitations of the cartridges of the time. This can be seen in all the Inty-Home games. Great packaging but a game that looks like it is from the time period when the console was relevant and not a representation of the development skills of the programmer. The 2024 release is taking advantage of the tools and hardware available and using them to deliver something above and beyond. I think the collectors love the Inty-Home products and appreciated them for what they are. I'm not a collector myself. I only buy the games I want to play but Ghostbusters is a special case. I had to have that big white box with my name on it and that glowing cartridge.

That happened to mine as well. Seemed to pop back into place ok.

My results so far going through a bunch of games with the jailbreak. Most games that didn’t work seemed to be resolved by finding better dumps. Cosmic Fantasy 1 (JP) shows as not supported or I just couldn’t find a good copy. Doraemon Nobita no Darabian Night loads but has display issues. Altered Beast (Juuouki Rev 5 redump) works without needing System 1 bios. Games Express games worked as long as the bios file was in the same folder as bin/cue files. Lots more to try but out of a few hundred the results are good.

Seems everyone got their white box yesterday. Damn FEDEX dinged me their (special) charges of course.

I just got this today and plugged it into my Intellivision and got a black screen. Nothing wrong with the game. Looks like my INTV III decided it's time to black screen. Was working earlier in the week. I just played a game on EASY since I forgot how to play and reading manuals is for nerds. I managed to win. Got lucky I guess. You did a good job here Brian and contributors. I will review the manual and try the harder level. Another great addition to the library. Now I just need to figure out why my INTV III is black screen. I think there is a black screen thread here. I'll look there so as not to derail this thread.

It's funny, I don't know Rev. You guys do. I have only seen pics of him at PRGE. He does not look like someone who would tolerate the tomfoolery and shenanigans he gets in these forums. Obviously he is a pretty good sport or just storing up a lot of rage which he releases via his nude modelling.

Yep. It would. Just the cart. And maybe the manual. And overlays. And a box. Some desoldering wick, flux, voltage meter, logic scope. Oh, and replacement mylars. just the basics.
