  1. @jeremiahjt Very true I do have a Pitfall II that is in a kids shorty cabinet in storage, I need to pull it out and see if I can get it working again. Yeah that game is fun but boy is it designed to eat quarters!
  2. This sounds like a real neat project, I would love something like this for my 2600 Jr, I have not been able to find an intact top shell for it and the only thing missing on mine is the badge. I hope this project does come to fruition and can also be made for other systems too.
  3. I too am interesting in one of these, so please count me in for one.
  4. I already signed up again for this year as well, been supporting the project since the beginning and the games are great!
  5. I am going this game week be physical published, it looks like just a few were made and I am hoping they will do a wider release. That is unless I missed it, which I hope is not the case.
  6. Ordered placed for TnT Cowboy and Pandora Incident missed out when they were offered this was a great chance to get them, Thank you!
  7. @Boschloo Yes the system comes with 2 discs one pc disc and one saturn disc. The pc one is easy to dump if it is not already available as it only has one or two tiny windows programs on it. If I recall the program required Japanese 95 at the time of the menus would look corrupt but still worked. I still have my copy in storage with the cable. The cable was not a simple cable and had a box in the middle of it. You do need the pc to saturn cable to connect it if you are going to use the pc to download the code into the saturn.
  8. Opened my Xmas gift this morning and was so pleasantly surprised it was so Princess "Peachy" keen. My Secret Mrs. Santa was so kind in leaning so heavy on my fave girl Peach! I am loving the Evercade games too! The little Golden book of super mario is just so darn charming! The stickers are so fun and I have some great items to use them on. A plush of her that I do not have in my collection too! All of these items will be so welcomed in my Peach collection of swag and cosplay! I also love the awesome pop up Christmas card, it also has stickers too! Thank you Ms. Santa! You hit it right on the head! I love the pink! Merry Christmas everyone I hope you all enjoyed it s much I did. Big thanks to gamerchic and CaptainBreakout for making it happen!
  9. I got mine on the other day and will be opening it up on Christmas eve tonight. I will take a picture and post it here too.
  10. I think the C64 is my fave as i grew up with it and love it. Your version looks great too! The colors on yours looks very great and u think I prefer those colors. I can't wait to see your finished game one day.. one of my most favorite games of all time.
  11. Sent my secret Santa gifts out today, I am enjoying hearing about others getting theirs.
  12. I loved that game and finished it, I found it a bit easy but very enjoyable. I met the developers at a party one time when I worked in the industry and was so sad to hear at that time that they were not making an episode 2, due to the DC decline and sales of the game.
  13. Just found out about this and this looks great, I too would love to buy one when they are available again.
  14. Woo Hoo! Please count on me again this year as joining as well! I always look forward to this event every year!
  15. I bought pac man 4k but I was looking to see if pac man 8k was offered? I was not sure what the difference was between them, but did not want to miss out and not get any of them.
  16. I had to get these ones as the FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) was too strong for me not too. Thank goodness Paypal allows me to break up my total into 4 payments, so it does not feel too bad. I am super happy to get the remainder of the games I wanted on this last chance sale. Gee Bee

I am in total agreement with you, I also used to play this on my Vic 20 and it is awesome. I honestly love this pinball game, I would love to see Cutie Q (the one this ones based on) and Gee Bee on an Atari cart, that would be amazing!
  18. Hey Captain Cozmos just wanted to pipe in and let you know that your project sounds really fun. Shamus is one of those games that I cut my teeth on as a kid and was delighted to hear you taking it on. Looking forward to buying it from you when it is done one day!
  19. Hey Digress your game is coming along great! I am glad you are wrapping it up it looks so colorful with the F18! Looking forward to buying a copy from you when it is ready.
  20. Thank you Luc! Just got the latest games in and they look amazing! Thank you so much for everything you have done for this community!
  21. @masteries If I was to pay for the upcharge for the necessary parts to make your paddle also compatible with Atari 2600/7800 and other 9 pin systems could you build me one? I think your project would fit nicely with some of my games. Thank you again!
  22. @dudeguy I used to own a classic videogame store and I have never had luck with replacing a Dreamcast laser with new ones right from the box. I have tried many Dreamcasts with many new lasers and I could not even get one to work. I think the reason is that the laser was good. I started an investigation back then with the theory that the laser does not necessarily go bad but the driver board underneath the laser assembly. When you replace your drive assembly with a GDEMU you are removing the entire assembly and not just the laser, so your GDEMU would work. I honestly think that the driver board is high suspect here and I hope someone can investigate it properly with a scope or some tool as I think that is the culprit. I know there are those who will debate the "..do burned games over drive your laser?", many said it does not and they may have been right, but no one was thinking of the driver board being the weak link. Over the years it seemed to me on all of our Dreamcasts we got in the store, the ones with dead "lasers" were always the ones with no game traded in on the same trade or have a stack of burned games that they wanted me to buy, which I never did. Dreamcasts with a stack of games almost always worked. I just like you prefer to play my games with original hardware and original software if possible. I do not want to die with a mint collection for someone else to just sell for pennies on the dollar as they do not have the interest and passion as I do for this hobby. However I respect anyone who wants to play games their way. I think if a new board or the cause of board failure can be found, many Dreamcasts can be saved. Just my observation and opinion. Just found this webpage that seems to agree with my theory... I will need to see if I can try these out. https://dragoncity17.wordpress.com/2013/12/08/dreamcast-lire-les-jeux-graves-reparations/
  23. Good luck on your research, it sounds like it is going to be really good. I will continue to follow your topic as I see a real use for this level of compatibility. Thank you for your efforts, they are greatly appreicated!
  24. @masteries This looks like a very interesting project, I am very interested in purchasing one from you, have you tested this on an Atari 2600 / 7800 and other classic 9 pin systems? If it works on those systems I think this would be very useful for me, thank you for sharing your project with the community.
