  1. Telelink 3? Is that the same as the Atari 1400/1450XL Telecommunications cartridge? Tempest Yes. If I remember correctly when you pop it in it displays "Telelink III" in big letters on the screen...I didn't try it out past that.
  2. I've been *vaguely* considering unloading my 1400XL but I don't really need the money, and I would rather trade it for something equally interesting. Vaguely. Expect offers to be rebuffed but offer anyway, you never know. FYI: Working, has a giant external switching power supply, voice synthesizer chip, 384K memory and a real lab copy of Telelink 3 (I think the ROM dumps floating around came from me, I lent it to Vendel at one point so he could dump it). The only think I can think of that it doesn't have is the 1400XL badge on the case. Also FYI: $400 wouldn't be nearly enough. Eric
  3. Free and in context, Game Informer isn't horrible. The context being that it's basically 150 pages of advertising. Good read on the can. But for the most part I'll just stick with Retro Gamer. The last two issues were absolutely superb. I can't remember the last time I read EGM. Eric
  4. Already collecting I see Oh yeah! It's like being your new dealer, giving you a free sample to get you hooked. Before you know it you'll be begging me to sell you my original heavy Air Cars for $500. I'm sorting through the rest of the responses now, by the way. Eric
  5. Hey all, I'm reconciling offers from the last two days and I'll get back to you. I'll post here when everything is spoken for, or if there is anything left at the end of the day. Thanks, Eric
  6. You pay shipping. At some point I bought a whole box of children's watches from shopgoodwill.com cheap, and let my kids pick a few out of them. The rest are left. Yours for the price of shipping. Note that most of these do not have a working battery, that'll probably run you a few dollars at Radio Shack. But also that means I don't know 100% sure if they work. Most of them are in excellent condition, and I suspect they will work. And now for the list: Aristocats, digital, pink, new in blister pack. Krusty the Clown, digital, talking, working although the battery is weak, exc condition, huge for a child's watch Another Krusty...anyone have twins? Another Krusty...anyone have triplets, besides me? Rug Rats talkin digital, like Krusty, huge, working but battery weak Different Rug Rats...any other twins? Blues Clues, digital, looks to be in great shape, sticker goo on face could be easily cleaned, very small Sponge Bob digital, snap open clear porthole over face Squidward large rotating digital face Disney Hunchback, opaque designed cover over face Disney Cinderalla, same as above Barbie, digital, has snaps on the strap that holds something that has gone missing Sbarro beach ball watch, giant water filled globe with floating beach ball, working, might be a fun watch for a small adult as well Strawberry Shortcake, the face is a scratched on this, not sure if it can be cleaned up Happy Cat analog, also might work for small adult Armitron Tweety, very scratched face, probably replaceable Armitron digital batman watch, has his head and torso, looks like an opening cape broke off...anyone need the band? Analog Winnie The Poo, disappointed none of my kids wanted this, it's actually really nice, the second hand is a clear overlay with piglet and gusts of wind from The Blustery Day Armitron Tweety analog, clear plastic, exc condition, "I Tawt I Taw A Puddy Tat" Bratz ridiculously ugly sparkly fuzzy denim band, digital, working Plankton metal case from a watch I don't have, some marker on the front, probably cleanable Jurassic Park Lost World digital with hologram over time from Burger King And finally, a special one for the fanboys: Revenge of the Sith large digital display, hologram on reverse, working Take one, take all. Please. Pretty please. Eric

  8. Did I mention that I'm planning a Goodwill run tomorrow? Quick responses appreciated. 7th Guest, DOS, includes two books (manual, "The Stauf Files") in a paper envelope that says "Virgin Games" all over it, and two CDs in a double jewel case with no insert, $0.50 Sirius Publishing Presents, DOS, this odd, long vinyl case with a whole bunch of CDs: Stellar 7, Wayzata World Atlas, Software Toolworks World Atlas, Classic Oldies PC Karaoke, Best of Media Clips, Animation Festival, CD Rom of CD Roms, Kings Quest V and some paperwork. There are two empty slots as well, don't know what used to be there. $0.50 Darwin: Survival of the Fittest, option trading game from Ameritrade, shrinkwrapped in cardboard envelope, $1 Sealed N-Gage Games, $1 each Sonic N (I rather like this title) Tomb Raider Red Faction Lynx sealed Basketbrawl, $2 Lynx loose California Games $0.50 32X loose Doom, a little marking on label, $0.50 32X complete Start Wars Arcade...man this must have been the coolest when it was new, $3 5200 Frogger loose $0.50 Trades or offers welcome. Paypal welcome. Actual shipping, let me know your zip for a quote. Not averse to sending overseas, although I have no idea of the 32X games work on not NTSC or have region lockout. Eric
  9. All tested and working. I have: Loose Sonic 2 "Not For Resale" exc cond $0.25 Rocket Knight Adventures poor label, still readable, great game, $0.25 Mortal Kombat, good label with some edge wear, $0.25 Fantasia, very good label, "Game World" price sticker, $0.50 Box and Cart (all very good or excellent condition) Sonic the Hedgehog not for resale, $0.50 Ecco: The Tides of Time, $1 Complete (all very good or excellent condition) Williams Arcade's Greatest Hits (cardboard box, incl. Robotron, Defender, Joust, Defender II, Sinistar), $3 NBA Jam $1 NFL Football '94 $1 Evander "Real Deal" Holyfield's Boxing $1 Also I have an army of Genny 1 and 2 consoles, does anyone need one or three? Let's say I'll let at least one of each go with a power supply and one controller for $5 each. Controller may be aftermarket, and the Genny 1 may or may not have the cover over the volume slider, they keep falling off and getting lost. Depends what I can find. I might be willing to sell more than one of these, I'm honestly not sure how many I have. Everything is tested. Happy New Year! Eric
  10. Yeah, I submitted an order with your online form and haven't heard back. Maybe you should give your online order form a test?
  11. Unless you're programming for Android. Visit Android.com and click the developer link at the bottom. Eric
  12. I probably don't have time for this either but I should ask, what kind of monthly web traffic are we talking about?
  13. The current lot of SMS games have officially been claimed. I'll post here the next lot when I get a chance. Since I have a fun day ahead building up a new developer system, between reboots I should have some time. Eric
  14. Hey everyone, the next person in line who requested the whole lot has been PMed with a price that includes shipping. If he accepts in the next day or so I'll let everyone know here that it's been taken, otherwise I'll send a PM to whoever is next in line. I'll have more SMS stuff...even though I need to clean house on the extras, I've still been buying to work on a complete English language collection, and I'm at the point where I'm buying complete copies to get instructions, stuff like that. So stay tuned. Also I'll be emptying the rest of my extras box priced to move over the next few days. Thanks everyone... Eric
  15. Hey, I had bronchitis the last few days and have been out of commission. Will be catching up with PMs later today. Eric
  16. I live in a 500K+ house and this year I've donated many carloads to Goodwill. Clothes my kids grew out of, toys, furniture, electronics, finally went through all the sweaters I've accumulated over the years and don't wear. Also bought Sega stuff and these really cool press glass snack sets. Usually I don't bother shopping at the one near me because it stinks, but there's a very cool one near my client in PA. OK, so the house didn't cost anywhere near that much when I bought it 13 years ago...but still, don't judge a home owner by their zip code. Eric
  17. Barely used. I thought it's a game I should play. Now I know it is not to my taste. Perfect condition, includes whatever paper was in the box when I broke the shrinkwrap last week. Make an offer, cash or trade. For trades on this I'm pretty open, including other Wii games, games for the other current gen systems (console or handheld). Certainly classic trades are welcome as well but my want list isn't very large...looking for complete 5200 and 3DO games. Eric
  18. Oh yeah, for trades I'm also open to 3DO...found one at a yard sale during the summer but I still only have Need for Speed, which was left in the system.
  19. Early spring cleaning? Late spring cleaning from last year? Either way. I need the space back. All priced to move, not including actual shipping. If you want more than one feel free to make me an alternate offer. Generally everything is in very good to excellent condition except as noted. Some of these games might be UK release but every single one has been tested and works on a US NTSC system. Complete 5200 games, even some commons. More to come... Thanks, Eric
  20. From an old-ish laptop, I upgraded to 2x 1GB modules and have the old ones available. 256MB SoDIMM DDR 333. Not DDR2. You pay actual shipping, I'll supply the bubble envelope.
  21. Seriously? For collecting purposes or do you actually plan to play it?
  22. Are you responding to the people who did order from Friday? I submitted my order but haven't heard from you about payment yet.
  23. Yeah, it also got me remembering that once in awhile I need to take time and smell the cartridge dust. I've been putting in long hours at work, and certainly giving my family attention, but not taking any time for myself. Organizing for the meet got back back into the notion that maybe I can afford to go hide in the basement with my games for an hour or 90 minutes at least a couple nights a week. Watch this space for Spring 09 Maryland Meet. Or possibly sooner. Feedback was good. But I don't want to take the time to organize one sooner. I'll try to pick a March date and announce in Feb. Hopefully my wife's spring break coincides with my kids'. Eric
  24. We had about 15 people, including My Vectrex with the Sean Kelly cart and Protector/YASI, a really rare Japanese 3DO (Sanyo I think), a Messiah and some seriously good Dreamcast and Saturn action. We'll definitely do it again in spring, probably during spring break for local schools. Let me know if you want to be contacted. Plus one of the guys there is now scheduled to fix my Black Widow, which has been down for three years. Very excited about that. Eric
