  1. I would also like to see Splendour (not on the list) by Bomb to see the light of day.
  2. Out of all of them Sylvester & Tweety is a new one on me. As for the Homevision games the belief is that they were all released by other companies under a variety of names but until the originals turn up it is just a theory. Out of the rest I would love to see Zimags Tally Ho make an appearance.
  3. Yes a lot of vaporware but once upon a time it was all vaporware and now several of them have surfaced in some form or another. I still cling to the belief that one day the majority will surface with only a handful on that list remaining as non starters.
  4. Apologies, must have missed that part
  5. Correct me if I am wrong but wasn't the game also shown in the film Piranha with the female lead seen playing it?
  6. You know I never had an issue with the game at time of release. In truth I envied my friend who got it for his birthday. Yes with hindsight you could argue that Atari could have done a better job but as a kid of 10 years old I enjoyed playing it as did all my friends for there was little in the way of choice as in my town arcades had an age limit of 16 to get in and trips to the seaside where you could enter arcades were few and far between. Added to this I think Atari did a better job of Pac Man than Parker Bros did with Amidar.
  7. Again I defer to you for you argument has merit. When I 1st became aware of the so called Holy Grail prototypes I will be the 1st to admit that I was more than a little annoyed at those that hoarded them but 20 years on my perception and understanding has changed considerably and I agree with you that some will want to protect their property at all costs, fair enough. Guess I am just lucky that I have either managed to play a lot of these games or at the very least have read reviews, seen pics or in the case of Hard Head watched full motion videos. But as I said a lot of these untouchables are not a great deal of fun to play but until someone plays them the majority of people will never understand that.
  8. Why are you always so angry? Have you even read my posts??? I think not. I never used the word demand nor have I used any terms saying that this must happen? I notice you always react this way to something you dont like and often wondered why? Also let me state this, I have no desire to play this game for reasons of my own. I was merely saying aloud a possible, viable idea open to discussion. I am sorry you took exception to it.
  9. Totally agree with you Thomas. Paranoia over the rom becomming public is the hardest point of contention. Another point would be the possibility that once people play any hoarded prototype and realise how bad it was or how little enjoyment came from playing it then the desire to pay massive $$$$ to own it would swiftly evaporate thus devaluing it. Either way it is a real shame for it would stop a lot of people harrassing those who own the games to release them.
  10. Again using that age old argument. You dont need to spend thousands. In fact the opposite for the owner gets all the money for people would pay the site to play the game which never leaves the site and would not be able to be downloaded. I dont understand why you get all upset about this for I was not asking you to do anything, just floating an idea.
  11. The way I suggested is the best way but whether anyone goes along with it is anyone's guess.
  12. Now my last reply has been deleted yes lets get back on track. What about my idea?
  13. You know what? I had a great idea. Why not set up a site where you could play the rom say for a dollar a time on a reputable web site such as Atarimania or Tempest's site but you could only play it, not download it and then the owner gets a viable income, all the curious players get to see what the fuss is about but the rom stays out of circulation. To me that makes perfect sense. Lets see what everyone else thinks?
  14. Ok should have read the other one 1st
  15. I will say it before any one else does. Pics would help a lot.
  16. There is always someone who has to go directly for the Juggler, right CPUWIZ?
  17. They were a vast step up from the ZX81 though, my 1st ever computer
  18. Ah thanks for clearing that up. Always wondered about that.
  19. Personal cart? You mean one he bought with his own money or one created for him by Activision?
