Thats a sweet deal you got there, despite what SKU says.. it appears legit to me. I gotta say.. I am a tad bit jealous.. I had done a quick scan of that auction too before it had ended, and hadn't seen either of those (gotta get my eyes checked!).

Getting upset over him mislabeling the driving controllers, and forgetting the RF box, is somewhat understandable, but he DID offer the full refund, which many sellers will not do. You gotta give him credit there.

True... it may be a shill, but for under $60 on Waterworld, that benjonesn got a good deal. You don't usually see too many shill bidders with a feedback of 328 (from the shiller). Still though, it is interesting to see him bid on other oddities from this guy.

Ditto on that thought. Personally, on something of that rarity and condition, I probably would not buy it from anyone outside of the U.S. or Canada, and being that he only has one feedback from a buyer, I would be especially leary of this auction. My guess is that he has at least a $100-$200 reserve on this... would be scary for me to plunk down that kind of change just to get ripped off at the end

I agree with Mindfield. This insurance crap on the above auction is bullshit. At the very most, they should only be charging a $1.30 (for items under $50). Even so, in my auctions, I always make shipping optional. Just another fine example of "Padding thy Wallet"

What.. you didn't know that Coleco had a secret prototype weapon codenamed "Atari 2400"? Yes, they made it LOOK like a regular ColecoVision, but that is just to fool the common Joe.. in reality, it was going to be their secret weapon in the videogame wars, but alas, this system was scheduled for a 1983 debut (just in time for the great videogame crash), so it was never massed produced. This is a real rare gem! Buy it with whatever it takes!!!

Yeah, it amazes me when you live close to someone, and they STILL insist on shipping, so they can make extra $$$ on an extorted shipping charge. I don't understand why people can't do local pickup. Just have a meeting spot somewhere besides home (like Walmart.. McDonalds.. you get the picture). I have had three people request local pickups from my auctions. I always met at Wally world, and never charged for the pickup (another thing I don't understand.. charging for the local pickup.. what a joke!).
