    My burps were tasting like rotten eggs/burnt popcorn, but now I seem to be better.  I'm still burping occasionally, but the taste is gone.

      How much water do y'all drink during and after dinner? I have to have at least 24 ounces total during and after dinner to keep things moving. Then I have to stay mostly upright for at least 3 hours.

      I drank a lot of water, but went to bed right after (D'Oh!),...My own fault of course.

      That's how the contractor that I worked for used to do it. One small meal in the morning and one huge meal right before bed. Ended up burning away the valve at the top of his stomach and developed throat issues. 

       

      I'm saving up my mad money for a new reclining office chair that's comfortable enough to sleep in for this reason.

    Yesterday at 7PM Antennae TV showed the very first episode of Three's Company and ME TV showed the very first episode of M*A*S*H.

      MASH is my favorite show. I put it on as a nice distraction any time that I need to concentrate. Might sound counterproductive but it works for me.

    On Monday someone got on my ebay account, but luckily I was on when it happened and I changed the password immediately.  I noticed a search that I didn't make and I got a message that a different device had logged on.  This happened 1 minute after I had bought something.

    I miss the 80's except for 8th grade.  I wouldn't repeat that school year.

      Well the whole thing about "Having it to do over again" I think it would be really cool to relive certain moments and definitely change others,  but I wouldn't want to have to go to school again!  Just let me pick certain moments,  knowing then what I know now!!

      I woke up shivering and the house was 67 degrees...I have my little space heater going but decided to turn on my heat to take the edge off...Yet it's supposed to be 77 degrees today.  Dang!  Just reading that I turned my heat off...

      They were 404 well before I made my account. I think Al just cleaned up the dead links. Pretty sure it was talked about in the Q&A thread by Al.

      The links were already broken from work I did years ago (had to rewrite the database access routines for the entire games database).  I had already intended to remove those links some time ago and forgot about that until recently, so I finally cleaned that up and removed them. If you really need these ROMs, you can certainly use Google to find them on numerous other sites.

    I think the baby birds grew up enough to fly away.  There's no activity in the nest.  Now I can open the awning without worrying about disturbing a nest.

    There's a bird's nest underneath our awning.  I've seen the momma bird feeding the babies a few times.

      There are a pair of robins nesting somewhere very close to my apartment building. I have not seen the nest (or the babies), but I often see the parents pulling worms from the lawn.

      Someone smart (not me) should probably answer here...But I'd instantly run a scan (I use Webroot) in case it's malware or a virus,  Or do you think it's one of those Windows Updates?  I think one of those put Microsoft Edge on my laptop (but I've never clicked it)...

    It's funny, when some organizations call, they know to hang up before the 5th ring completes so they don't get tied up with a message.

      I read about a guy who 10 years ago by mistake got a deposit onto his PayPal account that was bigger than the total amount of money in the whole world. They quickly realized their error and withdrew the excess amount, but upon the question how he would have spent the money if he had got to keep it, he said he would pay off his country's state debt first and foremost, then buy things for himself. That sounds very unselfish. I doubt even Bill Gates or Warren Buffett would think in those terms.
