    I dont think so. If I remember most of my cards I collected a few years ago were all mid 90's 3dfx, Rendition, PowerVR, S3 and Ati. I think the newest card is probably around 1999. Your card looks about a decade newer with the HDMI

    The famous hissing sound comes from the coil. You can replace it if it really bothers you but there really is no reason to do so

    If you are testing it with a game cart then that one is new to me. BUT with that said its possible someone replaced the barrel plug at some point in its life and the sizing is off. Measure the univerasl PSU plug see if its 5.5x2.5

    Looking at it I dont see why it wouldn't. Personally I would go with one of the options form the Otaku store. I can vouch for their professional products. Never been disappointed

    Price shipped is $20 it works great and would clean up nicely if you took the shell off and scrubbed with soap and water. Not yellowed or cracks like that just dirty

    I've never used them since I've been repairing consoles myself the past 2 decades. But I did repair a Truboduo they worked on previously for someone and it was a disgrace. So my take is its probably a toss up on quality

    Hey Yes they should work, You might have to move some jumpers depending on what your current set up is.
