  1. Yes I was playing NeoGeo in the 90s. I was a fan of World Heroes, Fatal Fury and Samurai Shodown. I played them all in the arcade. I never got into art of fighting much. Wind Jammers and Neo Turf Masters Golf were pretty awesome as well. I think we all like KOF. (NeoGeo Battle Coliseum was neat too) I never owned any NeoGeo systems. (except the mini cabinet in recent times) They were too expensive for me at that time. (I am 43 years old).
  2. Have to love those DC Mortal Kombat #1 comic covers in the background. NeoGeo Mini, hrm... that was one of the harder things to hack. I mostly play SVC Chaos - Capcom Vs SNK 3. I have two white pads.
  3. I picked up a couple IntelliVision carts a while ago out rummaging thinking someone here may want them. The carts are untested because I do not own an IntelliVision to check them on. They are in pretty rough shape, but free to someone who may want them. If its somewhere in the USA, I will cover shipping. I'm hoping someone will take them all so I don't have to ship to multiple places. The games are: NHL Hockey Triple Action Space Battle (x3)
  4. For sure, cheap plug on my part. Also, he is asking about the Portable.
  5. Okay, so, the game manager dumps the rom folder? This application will allow you to manage your 'all-games.ini' file and ROMs for your Flashback HD (2018 model). PLEASE NOTE: To use this you will need to use the custom firmware created by rrifonas over at GBAtemp.net - https://gbatemp.net/threads/custom-firmware-for-sega-flashback-2018.523590/page-9#post-8537041 To get started, please make sure you have an SD card with a 'rom' folder on the root of the device. Inside this 'rom' folder should sit your 'all-games.ini'. This is what the app will look for when you select your SD card. If this doesn't exist the app will let you know. It will also check for the mount_sd.ini which is what the custom firmware uses to make your SD card the default game location. If this does not exist it will ask you if you want to create one. You can add and remove games from the SD card/.ini file using this tool as well as changing existing game names/properties/artwork. File types for artwork supported are .JPG, .GIF, .BMP and .PNG. You do not need to worry about the format or the size, the app will convert these for you. ROM files supported are .ZIP, .BIN, .SMS and .32X. AtGames do not allow spaces or special characters in the ROM names so this app will rename your ROMs for you automatically. Please check the thread for this tool over at GBAtemp for more updates: https://gbatemp.net/threads/genesis-flashback-hd-2018-game-manager.529624/ Please also report any bugs/feature requests. 6. IDK the cart buying experience I remember was calling every electronics store/department in town and asking them if they had (insert newest unreleased game here) yet and if yes, would they hold one.
  7. I think AFB9/X has these in the NEXUS. A2600, A5200, CV, A800, Arcade, HB, maybe more???
  8. Man, I miss the days I worked at Game Xchange and someone would come in with something rare like a Virtual Boy, Panasonic 3DO, GameBoy Printer, you name it, and I would look at the price book, and say "Oh if its not in the price book we don't buy it, I can only off your a flat $5.00 in cash, but meet me outside by my car after work and Ill give you $20 bucks for it." That's how I got most of my off the wall consoles back then. Back then it was all kind of new, and Game Xchange had no clue at all. People really didn't give a shit about the Jaguars and the Nomads. You know, after awhile you realize that game stores never have anything really cool because the workers are collectors and get the stuff first. It never makes it to the shelf.
  9. I have a really nice PC Jr with matching monitor and boxes and manuals and a shit ton of sidecars. It just stays boxed up and stored. I have Basic, Dos and Lotus, I believe, with carts and books. I only have one joystick in box. I have been meaning to grab another in box but they aren't very pricey. I don't have the chicklet keyboard either, I see you have one on bottom of the other. I guess I am interested in the Keyboards and Joysticks. I wouldn't know what to offer, tho. And I can't do local pick up.
  10. There is a decent amount of money in vintage print ads. I'm sure you have some cool ones in there.
  11. I like the flashback joysticks. Hyperkin Troopers are similar IMO.
  12. Atari Flashback 9 and X have a community build as well Atari Flashback Nexus (Community Project) - AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles - AtariAge Forums No Trackball support. Flashbacks can play Atari 8bit and 7800 games. Custom bezels. Paddles work on the X with no modding. We did get a newer version of stella running, so you can play galagon and stuff, but it runs slow. I own both of the AFBs and the R77. R77 plays A2600 a lot better than the AFBs. FBs are basically retroarch boxes now. It was nice when you could get AFBs on clearance for 20 or 30 bucks. It is hard to find them on a deal anymore. R77 stayed the same price as far as I can see. If you want to play A2600 only and use a trackball, Retron77 is the clear winner, IMHO. I didn't care for the ranger paddle pads. I have 2 and the adapter but they are a little wonky to play with for me.
  13. Here is what I think, the price was too damn high. I have 300 other ways to spend 300 dollars. Regular folks were never going to get one. They preyed on collectors. People that collect consoles and Atari specific collectors will have to have it. It can't be for gamers, because, the Atari Vault collection and the Recharged series are on steam. You dont even need a VCS to play those games.
  14. Yes the AFB9s and Xs (and even the Legends Flashbacks) have been modded. They basically run the equivalent of RetroArch. It is just emulation and has some issues for sure. The Atari 800 core was rebuilt for the FBs by AA member @rocketfan and it gets constantly updated. The biggest limitation is the one button joysticks the atari flashbacks use. So we have to use all sort of tricks for two button games, or else play them on the LFBs.
  15. Thanks for such an awesome game! We added this to the Atari Flashback 9/X and even made a snazzy custom bezel for it. Thank you, again!
  16. No problem, I get it. I just dont want to keep searching if its not findable. Thanks for the help!
  17. This is what I've got. If you have something better, I would love to use it instead. But I have a question. Is Shark Storm a rom that is freely available? I cannot find it.
  18. I would love to see the community art. I'm no expert, but I feel these homebrews deserve some kind of thumbnail to click on instead of a "No art available" placeholder. I believe those are the only two games of yours we have in the flashback pack, but if you want us to, we can include them all.
  19. Well, we will change it to this if thats okay with you? I guess this is one of your games as well?
