With Atari now owning AA...we all know how big corporations work.  We need to form an IntelliAge forum somewhere.

It's ok, I'll let you guys have a subsection on the new, upcoming AquariAge Forums.

In all seriousness, congratulations to you Al! Looks like a big step for AtariAge, a site I value greatly. I look forward to many more years talking on here.

  2. While we don't have an exact date, we do know the Aquarius was released in June of 1983. That makes the Aquarius, as of this month, 40 years old! Its keys may be uncomfortable, but it is as charming as a computer can be and so I wish it a happy birthday. From Nightstalker to Diamond Mine and to our newly released homebrews, the system has brought many memories. Here's to another 40 years!

  3. This book, as with most Aquarius related literature, is quite hard to track down.

If you're just looking to find a scan, you might be able to find one on archive.org or the Aquarius Facebook Group. I checked my Aquarius scan archives and it doesn't look like I have one. Someone might also have one on the Aquarius Discord server here:

    https://discord.gg/TjCZZZ8HZQ

If you're looking for a physical copy though, it'll take some work to track one down in all likelihood. I personally got my copy a couple years back on ebay.co.uk, which I would definitely recommend keeping an eye on. I've also had some luck finding obscure retro computer books on amazon, though it doesn't look like there's even a listing for this book.

    Hope this helps. Good luck!

  4. Thought I'd finally get around to making a dedicated place for my 'searching for' list, so that I can connect it to my AA signature. This will be continuously updated with time, as I obtain new items and find more to add to this list. As of 2023, this list will be pretty small as I am not currently collecting for many systems but I do plan on expanding past these four systems in a couple years.

just wanted several items, but stopped buying because shipping cost of >100$ is a bit over the top. If several people here from the EU are interested we could maybe combine order and split the shipping costs.

This is my one complaint. The protectors are fantastic and I love the work Starwander is doing providing protection for obscure items, but I really don't understand the shipping costs. I'm even based in mainland US, and the shipping costs were $62 for 20 game protectors (10 Small Aquarius and 10 Medium Aquarius). I tend to ignore the high costs because I really do want to support what he's doing, but I saw the packaging it came in and I really don't see how it's that high.

  6. I bought some Fairchild Channel F items from poppalarge, they were a pleasure to work with. They were constantly in communication and were happy to answer any questions I had. The items were packed extremely well, and I would highly recommend him to anyone. I hope to have more deals with them in the future. You can't go wrong making a deal with poppalarge. Thanks!

  7. Got my first two issues of Odyssey Adventure magazine!

I love the artwork on these. The Killer Bees issue looks to have a bit of liquid damage but no rips or anything. I think I did pretty well on them too, it was $33 for the two of them, and the lot also included some other coleco/parker brothers manuals and catalogs. Just need the other 5 issues now!

Was this the one on ebay?  That one was in pretty nice condition and the price wasn’t awful.

The $165 one? I wish. I paid much more than that (though sadly still about market price for 2023, maybe slightly higher), only a week before in a private deal. This arrived the day after that one went up. You win some you lose some I guess. This one is in really nice shape, though which I'm pleased with.

  9. Been looking for the picture I saved of the Finnish (I believe they are Finnish, anyway) language manuals. I couldn't remember where I saved it, but I finally found it! This is a picture from an ebay listing from a few years back. It included an AQ II, so the price was incredibly high and I couldn't get my hands on them.

I think this is the only time they've shown up, but I'm not sure.

Hi everyone, so I've posted this on various respective forums but it was suggested I post here to reach other folks.

Just PM me if you're interested in any of these.  (Atari 7800 coupler is coming soon, waiting on donor to send me his to prototype / test)

They can be found on ebay as well if you prefer going through an online store, but I can save you a few bucks if we go direct.  :)

The google sheet is on 'Request Access', just so you know. I might be interested in an O2 one, though.

  13. Got myself a mint condition CIB Radofin variant of Aquarius Tron Deadly Discs. Paid a little more than I wanted to but after finishing the full set I really don't want to buy more whole lots for one variant, so I'm happy with it.

Just missing AD&D, Nightstalker, Snafu, Utopia, 16K, and Logo now for the full Radofin variant set. Will buy these if anyone has spares!

  14. Purchased some very hard to find CD-i titles from Blazing Lazers and everything was perfect! He was very professional and shipped quickly and with care. The items are in excellent shape and he even included bonus items without me asking. Absolutely wonderful experience and would highly recommend buying from him to anyone! Will absolutely buy from again.
