  1. Appreciate everything you've done to cover this game Supergun! None of us would have been able to follow this story without your help, and for that I thank you. Looks like everything is finally coming to an end and we'll be able to experience MM2 someday once the game reaches us at our local arcades. I've definitely brought this up to mine and we've had interesting discussions regarding it. Even though there was some controversy and negative feelings towards the whole situation with this I still will be very happy to play it for myself. Feels like the end to a very long wait to something I've been following for over eight years now, and yes I know most people say it's not worth keeping your hopes up or the game doesn't play anywhere near the original. But it still will be exciting for me nonetheless. Here's to another piece of history that will finally, hopefully lol, be made public for all to see and enjoy.
  2. Thanks so much for sharing this! Definitely a positive video and makes me excited for the possibility of finally being able to try out MM2 once they are finished with the project. Honestly, I wouldn't mind the joystick gameplay if that would be the only option. Just experiencing the game would a win for me.
  3. Haha you know as much as that one user was going around pretty much implying that the ROM would be released in November I actually started to believe it myself even though I knew it most likely wouldn't happen... Regardless, I truly hope MM2 will be available for all people to enjoy someday. I absolutely loved the original MM for NES and ever since I found out MM2 existed out of chance I'd love the opportunity to play it. What excited me most was the games ability to allow three people at once to play together. I can see myself and some of my close friends having a blast with this considering how much fun we had on the first. Oh well such is life I suppose. With no update from Supergun I guess we will just have to sit back and remain hopeful that we may see the ROM at some point in time..
  4. We're not trying to be negative, but based on previous behavior from these collectors it's best to not get your hopes up on something that was loosely promised to begin with. Now I haven't really followed this as well as some of the others on this forum so I can't say for sure, I just don't want to burst your bubble trying to set you up with a realistic expectation of something that may or may not happen. That being said I don't want to come across as a negative Nancy, I truly want it to be released at well. I grew up playing Marble Madness on the ol Nintendo when I was about seven years old so I definitely appreciate your enthusiasm about it. The game always left me with the feeling that there was something more to it as only six levels makes it quite short once you master the mechanics. So then after finding out myself a few years back that MM2 existed it was like finding that last piece of the puzzle which finally gives you closure on a long and difficult project. It'll be great to see the sequel to the original version someday when it is released either this year or another time in the future. Don't give up hope on the game bud. But setting a date on something like this may just bring you disappointment if it doesn't come to pass. Me personally I'd rather be surprised by seeing it be released unexpectedly rather than thinking in my mind there's a certain timeframe it needs to be released by. I'll stay hopeful just like you are, but I'll remain optimistically skeptical until I see some more info from the owner.
  5. You do know that there's no guarantee we are getting the ROM in November right?
  6. This is fantastic that we could possibly get a release of the ROM within the next year! Of course like everyone stated earlier, the natures of these people are unpredictable so there is no guarantee it is given to the public. I for one will stay hopeful as Marble Madness has been one of favorite games of all times. I've played through almost every known port of the game, and after having found out recently that there was another chapter of the game lost to us... Needless to say I was pretty excited after reading over this forum. Lets keep faith in humanity and hope us veteran Marble Madness players will finally see the sequel to a fantastic, but all too short game.
