From what I understand, this would have been the time you were trying to get to the bottom of what had happened, so you were probably just about still talking to him, and would have been when a great many troll accounts began their barrage on yourself and others that we now know he was blaming on other people he disliked, both satisfying his need to vent his anger at you all and as ammunition to try and deflect the blame and try and get on your good side. It’s what he does, and has always done. I know the words shared by Landstalker on the previous page here were said to someone in the last couple of weeks and you will by now have had a DM about that from them - it was the same time as you got that creeping e-mail of non-apology where he tried to do the same trick again. He believes you are both gullible and influential, so thinks he can easily manipulate you into bettering his name by association. Compare it to the e-mail and anyone can probably work out who these messages were sent to.

More accounts called out and the need for attention once again lasts about 2 days, then switches back to new/old primary troll sockpuppet to continue abuse of female social media gamers (that’s something he is REALLY banging home now on all accounts), use same all-encompassing #retrogaming hashtag to get maximum search potential exposure, throws in a completely unrelated Atari related hashtag for no reason (because must mention Atari else will explode), and has completely see-through cringeworthy ‘pretend argument’ immediate-responsed conversation with himself just like every other attempt to foil those brainless bullies he keeps on about. Oh and takes 1 post out of 1200 posts and claims that 6 weeks worth of arsehole evidence is somehow undone by someone choosing not to post anymore, like that somehow makes any sense. ....and he would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn’t for you meddling kids. I’m always immediately suspicious when I see any kind of pally commenting or supportive chat around any of his talk. In those screen caps from JS3, can anyone confirm they are real people he’s even talking to? His exchanges with them seem very typical and ‘leading’, much like his sockpuppet interaction on Twitter. I did a search for Kyle Daniels (a name I think I’ve seen appear to talk to him on Twitter in a similar way) and Dave Beasley on Facebook, and scanned back through the profile pics of a dozen or so and couldn’t find those profile pics linked to any of them. That most likely means they are very distant people (eg. Americans or Australians etc. Though these do still turn up the further down the search list you go), that they are accounts that have me specifically blocked, or they have changed their ID/been deactivated. I know he has sockpuppets on every media platform and these wouldn’t be the first on Facebook if they were, as he used sockpuppets to view profiles hidden to him in the past and was even scheming enough to personally threaten individuals who were openly talking up and promoting coming to our events for the first time and pretending to be associated with us (see attached pic). Whilst I’m on it; PoppyFluoxetine on Twitter is back daily active again and self-referencing pokes made about him on here, stupidly giving himself away again. JoeMilano has also unhidden his tweets again with a dig at Lee Fogarty, cos deflection is now needed. Idiot.

This is true. The biggest problem is that many have found trying to find accurate sales figures for the whole decade citing just the U.K. is near-impossible, with only a few spotty single year reports available in the first few years for a handful of systems, so saying anything for certain would be arrogant to say the least. However, commenters at the time and as much as it pains me to say, a casual flick through Wikipedia mentions the drastic differences in the fortunes of this country in that decade and the rejection of expensive home computers or entertainment whilst it was new and unemployment was at an all-time high. Ignoring the professional market and purely going off anecdotal information, speak to any kids of working class families of the 80’s and their talk in the schoolyard and you’ll get the picture. Spectrums and Commodore 64’s dominated the decade with a small portion going to the Amstrad CPC464 or BBC Micro, with a small amount having Pong consoles or a 2600 for a short time early on, and one or two lucky kids maybe getting a Master System or NES in the last 2 years of the decade. By the early 90’s when I got to senior school, most still had their Speccy/Commodore/Amstrad and a few moving into Sega or Nintendo, then by the time the 16-bits arrived perhaps 20 or 30 out of my school year of 200 would have had an Amiga, an ST or some random kid with a PC - just because their Dad needed it for business. About a quarter never made it past the home computer and by 93-4, the quarter or so of us who were into it and had bought consoles were either on Megadrive or SNES, perhaps with a Gameboy or Game Gear to go with it. By that point only a few guys still hung onto their Amigas, and the ST was second place even to that. So as far as that chart goes on LemonAmiga, it’s probably not far different from the UK, you’re right. Ignore the actual figures and the PC and Mac entries and look at the others as relative sales - the C64 and Speccy would have been on par with each other here with miscellaneous computers taking the spot of the Apple sales up to the turn of the decade, with Amiga probably looking a little less over the same time frame and the ST coming in behind that, over the same short time frame. To say that ST was any kind of best seller would be a ludicrous suggestion.

Possibly 4th. The Gameboy and it’s Variants lasted from the end of the 80’s right up until the early 2000’s. The Master System and Megadrive also continued to enjoy fruitful lives in one iteration or another in South American markets long after the first world had moved on, with occasional new releases made right up until the last few years. The 2600 stopped even being relevant by the arrival of the third generation consoles, particularly in the U.K. where home micros were the dominant gaming platforms right up until the 90’s began, by which time the 2600 was all but forgotten here and Atari were little more than a brand name being passed around like a dose of the clap. His bitterness over this got cemented by the arrival of the Jaguar, which was laughed off here in the U.K. where the 16-bit Nintendo and Sega rivalry was unmatched and overshadowed the futile efforts of the others and even the ‘ground-breaking’ early CD consoles that were far too expensive and had no good games. That’s why (and you’ll never see him reference it) masses of unsold Jaguar systems backed up with retailers unable to return the unsold stock here in the U.K., and you could readily buy brand new old stock consoles on eBay for pretty much cost price up until about 5 years ago. I love all retrogaming and like many, have my favourites whilst still appreciating the many varied systems out there from all manufacturers. Even the most casually biased playground argument acknowledges their champion console’s shortcomings whilst still making s case for your manufacturer or console of choice. When doing a journalistic piece though you have to present all angles and have to present the facts if you have any integrity. As influential as their arcade games were and as brief a time the 2600 (and later the ST) were more widely enjoyed by those that could afford them here, from a U.K. perspective, Atari had a relatively small footnote in gaming and system ownership over here and any self-respecting journo would acknowledge that even when just doing a review - certainly if doing some kind of historical referencing. But no, the boy blunder must stick to his intrinsic and self-delusional truths, lest the bubble of reality burst and the revisionist history he creates slaps him in the face when a chorus of English voices shout it down with “Actually, we mostly thought Atari were shit” and he melts into a puddle like the Wicked Witch of the West.

That PoppyFluoxetine one that started back up too once all this fallout began, because his hatred of women also knows no bounds. Been watching all of the ones I listed, and then some. It was inevitable he would go back to one he hadn’t used in a while sooner rather than later, and already outed himself by self-referencing, being stupid enough to bite to a reply, his ego forcing him to take ownership of anything referencing him after a few days out, and using the exact same all-capturing hashtag of #retrogaming and the same vernacular as all his primary sockpuppets. What a waste of space. .... which has been the reason that about 40 pages have been written here since, disproving everything he wrote in that, too. Did he by any chance use that obviously unbalanced comparison as a basis to justify the Atari console looking better? That kind of biased revisionist lack of integrity wouldn’t be unusual in the slightest. We have frequently run the cross-platform link up of Amiga and ST at our events to set off conversation by the fanboys, and he claimed that the ST version of Lotus Challenge ran better than the Amiga version right next to it. The difference is very apparent and there’s no denying the Amiga version looks better and moves so much smoother, but he insisted to all who would listen the ST version was better. His hatred on Nintendo is also well documented, and 2 years before the SNES Mini was released with the first licenced version of the unreleased Starfox 2, we had one of the final builds and discussed a way to get the leaked late build of that game running in a way that could be played by event goers on the Retron 5 (which we did). In the group chat where we were all offering suggestions and sharing links to patches to make it work, he thought he knew best and scoffed at our attempts with negativity.... and minutes later with a little perseverance, we proved him wrong. He was salty as usual and just as I’m congratulating a team member on coming through for us, he came out with the absolute gem of a quote in the last picture. Yeah, you’d be hard pushed for anyone to agree with that.

The common denominator is the same in all 1000 posts here and the hundreds of people who have liked the Facebook posts, posted here or chipped in with even the most casual anecdote. It’s also the reason that ordinarily-functioning people, whatever tensions have been caused, have been talked through and reasoned out to get to the bigger problem - the same one that connects all those affected. Whatever the issue, it’s never as big a problem as it first seems, and not as big a problem as the single puppeteer pulling the strings. I appreciated your mention of our event in your Joffa Smith video Kim, as well as the comments on Chris’ and my own posts. No apology needed. Foolish as it was, as I said to Sarah; you’re not responsible for a vindictive individual manipulating an innocuous comment to fit a personal vendetta. It no longer even matters if he were to come back with just 1 single rebuttal. To be clear and totally transparent, in the full dump of the conversation just posted, the comment defending Dave Perry and comparing what Digitiser was about I’m pretty sure was me. It was posted using my own profile, reflects my genuine thoughts at the time, and was a defence to some pretty bad things said following a piss-take advert they posted as a cheap shot to increase the popularity of what they were doing. As you can see, Sarah said that it’s a fair opinion and I’ve never attempted to conceal that. I gave that post to stop the gaslighting the conversation was going down as we were still trying to complete our own work on our own show and they found it necessary to go on the offensive. To my recollection it was the only public post I made, completely justified in context and was never concealed as being thoughts of my own. It also never attacked anyone there personally as he claimed (and obviously Sarah could see when he tried to pass that off as what he said it was) and after that, I made no further comment on any other YouTube video of theirs and carried on as normal. We found out the hatred continued there by someone up until about the 4th episode - which none of the Revival team had seen or had any knowledge of after watching the first. I’ve not even looked myself but when we buried the hatchet, Sarah told me that the nasty stuff started after the first video on YouTube and came from sockpuppet accounts.

You didn’t even know us and he is an expert at identifying and manipulating targets who easily sympathise. Any harm done to anyone in issues surrounding him is largely past and inconsequential compared to the compounded destruction of this pathetic individual - it’s all about the bigger picture and thankfully because people like Chris and I worked our bollocks off to combat whatever was slowing us down, 2019 turned out to be one of the most successful years for each of us in spite of the widespread damage he caused. So let’s start with the biggest of your bullshit that affects me directly. In the wake of Horacegate and all of Hawking’s foibles finally starting to surface in a big way, everyone began to talk. As had been seen in Facebook posts of my own and that of Chris Wilkins, we had long suspected that a silent campaign of hate had been started against us by someone, and whispers of the wotsit randomly posting shit publicly online about us as individuals, Revival and Fusion Books interchangeably in order to dirty everything associated with us. This was bad enough and will be the subject of another post, but we only found recently after the first exposing video just how bad it had got, when people we wouldn’t normally hear from finally started talking to us. Since 2017, at a time when Chris had begun building dialogue with some prominent youtubers to cover books of his to help with their videos and the possibility of them writing for Chris, and at a time we at Revival had begun plans to do a new web show with Dave Perry, a bunch of youtubers got together and decided they were to start their own web show which became Digitiser. There was no friction because of this initially and so life went on, however.... During late 2017 and throughout 2018 Chris and I began to receive regular reports of Kearin shit-talking about us at gatherings, posting random irrelevant comments on other people’s posts and sending private digs to people we know. Me and Chris have always been in regular contact and so we spoke about it regularly as every month there was usually a handful of incidents. What became clear though is that both of us in our separate endeavours were finding it becoming increasingly difficult because of unknown reasons. On the event front we began to see declines in sales, we saw some questionable comments towards us we had never had before, we had exhibitors suddenly do complete 180’s in enthusiasm who stopped attending despite exhibiting elsewhere, and we were having invited guests go cold after promising contact. With the web series thing, we saw a lot of hostility aimed at us and directed at Dave himself despite a lot of early support and talk of collaboration, and eventually some very direct insults came our way and towards Dave from members of the Digitiser project, which derailed our efforts and turned him off the idea somewhat. At the same time, Chris was paving good way with his new magazine and having continued success with his larger books. After giving his books to some of the youtubers involved in Digitiser and talking about having them take part in small events and writing for the new magazine and annuals, several of them also went completely cold and pretty much broke off all contact with him, at the same time that Hawking was ripping off the magazine pdf’s and uploading them for public share, and making scathing attack videos showing every page of publications (incidentally, much of the audio from these videos is what was sampled to make the video reviewing Keyring’s own book that started this whole exposing episode). I knew something was amiss when towards Xmas 2018 I was alerted to a video by Sarah that she made following visiting Revival 2018 (a positive one may I add), where she had added a remark and there were some subsequent replies afterwards, where she said “After learning what the organisers think of me, I won’t recommend it or ever be back”. The responses were of course extremely negative and on digging around and speaking to some people who used to be friendly to us, I found out that the comments had been shared about and there was some boycotting of us going on as a result. No one would talk about what was said and I attempted to contact Sarah directly on Twitter to ask what it was all about. She tried to be avoiding and magnanimous and would only say she had “been told I had been publicly posting horrible things about her” and refused to tell me what, even though I explained how damaging it was and offered to do something about it if one of our team had spoken out of place publicly. She broke off contact but removed the comment after a few messages back and forth. As it transpired once we all finally began talking once the wotsit car crash began, it turns out that at the same time this all began, that was the same time that the mole rat began creeping round all of those youtubers and sliming his way into their good graces by offering to write for their videos. It was a slow process and in order to build false credibility with them, he took advantage of an old ‘us vs them’ situation between us and Replay Events to bad mouth Revival, Chris and myself to be welcomed back into their good graces and by proxy (as these youtubers and Digitiser were getting support and funding from Replay), decided to start telling Sarah, Kim Justice and others in their circle who would listen that Chris, myself, members of the Revival team and acquaintances of ours had been publicly spouting overtly sexist comments, derogatory discrimination against transgender people, had mentioned and targeted Sarah and Kim Justice by name and following it up with his sob stories of how we supposedly wronged him to cement his association. As has now been revealed, at this time YouTube videos of theirs, Digitiser, several rising female youtubers and their respective Twitter accounts were also receiving trolling and disgusting hate mail, personal messages and spam posting from a series of trolling twitter accounts. Keyran then repeatedly told them he knew undisputedly who they belonged to - and interchangeably told them they belonged to Me, Chris and people from Revival. As we now know, several of these accounts were sockpuppets belonged to the wotsit himself, and had been created to gain leverage whilst simultaneously harming us. Some of these sockpuppets and a whole bunch of new ones were then used to increase the abuse and bolster support for himself when it all started to go wrong during Horacegate, so I don’t need to share those posts again and bring up some old scars and quite horrid things. Some earlier posts in this thread mention and share some of them already, done you can still find by asking the people who were targeted during that period and many also got deleted in typical style. What I can do though is show you what kind of sexist, discriminatory and scheming piece of shit he is. Going back just a page or two you’ll see tweets and forum posts from him and his known sockpuppets calling women cunts and attention seekers, ridiculing disabled people, using questionable terms frequently and very personally attacking others in screencaps that others have shared. One of the biggest things he accused me and Chris of, and was the most damaging to our endeavours for the last few years, was of talking about people, publicly slagging specific individuals off and posting sexist and offensive remarks in our own names, and although we had no reason to do so or knowledge of most of these people, that we had taken the time to create these sockpuppets to continue the abuse. Well we already know he is behind the sockpuppets that were doing it, he could produce no evidence that we were saying horrible things (only that Chris said he wasn’t a fan of something they did, and I had said a few times I thought Digitiser was shit, which I own and stand by my opinion, only saying that in one place publicly and in a brief private conversation between some of our team who had seen it, later confirming that publicly to Sarah and the others and certainly not responsible for the hateful attacks they apparently got on their episode 3 - none of us even watched anything but the first one!), but kept repeating to others and privately to them that we were, and making no distinction between Chris, me or Revival, in order to bring us all into disrepute. Sarah now confirms this was the source of her post on her video that was so damaging, why none of the youtubers would work with Chris, and why we were all marginalised further by them and those they influenced since they first met him. Well, in true style, all of his hatred and accusations turn out to be 100% deflections of responsibility for everything he is guilty of himself. The sockpuppets are mostly him or his mouthpiece associates, the screencaps shared here so far show his disgusting attitude to women and the disabled, and now folks, here is the proof from 3 different sources that show him throwing his accusations around, and the moment the fucking clown massively disrespected Sarah at exactly the same time he was trying to be her friend and pretend to be ‘on her side’ during the Horacegate incident. Explain your way out of all this, you worthless piece of shit. This is what proper evidence looks like. One is a man you targeted out of sheer jealousy for publishing accomplishments you could never hope to reach and have systematically tried to ruin, one is a guy you held as a friend and then called him every name under the sun and blocked purely because he was sickened by your actions and decided he couldn’t stand by and let you say them any more, 2 of the guys there are completely impartial and yet you’ve made yourself an object of ridicule with your every action, and finally there is me, and I represent someone who has single handedly pulled of everything in eventing and social scene construction that you have failed at as proven in one instance already documented, in your despicable treatment of former friends and committed hobbyists for an event you are now completely banned from, and represents everything socially your entire adult life you’ve failed to be. You cannot deflect blame and you cannot deflect the hate directed at you to draw people to your cause anymore, it simply isn’t going to work.... and neither will your attempts to sully my name or that of Revival out of my sight line as you have been doing for 4 years now. You were advised not to push and so far I’ve unloaded a ton of evidence that proves your lies and history manipulation you use to defame our events and your delusion of your position in it. There’s plenty more on the event front but now it’s time I unloaded the personal messages that show EXACTLY the person you are and the web of bullshit you have been weaving out of sheer hatred for all that is positive in this hobby and prompted the very first video that started this ball in motion, you vile and worthless human being. I’m no longer protecting names and no longer protecting interests. Starting immediately, I will be dumping conversation threads that show the absolute detritus you are, and why no one should ever have any personal interaction with you. Lets begin shall we....

Like I said, I guessed it was about the size of a LAN party - certainly not even big enough to be called an event, and clearly not memorable enough to be noted by anyone in order for anyone to ‘copy it’. As it shows, it was an Atari-centred meeting consisting mostly of one computer club group. The South West Amiga Group meets are bigger than this at 50+ people, have guests and food and drink put on, and they’re hosted several times a year without breaking a sweat. 25 people? I’ve had bigger gaming parties at my house. The bottom line is, the title of the meet was ‘Jagfest X’ and nothing related to Revival, like you say. You were around in the early days of the first event being organised, and it was chiefly done with support from RCM and CFCH. When Chris introduced him to me long after we had already begun organisation, we had already established and organised everything - he had nothing to do with organising, had no position of responsibility, nothing to do with fundraising and only ever provided a few pieces of kit, not even assisting anyone else with their setup and taking off the minute his things were packed at each event he was at. Him claiming ownership of coming up with the idea, creating the name, suggesting we stole the name and idea from him, or his claims of level of involvement are all delusion and grandiose exaggerations of his significance in anything we did. Not forgetting he hasn’t been a part of anything since 2016. Whilst he insists on throwing stones in that greenhouse he’s in, it’s been brought to my attention in PM’s that ‘Jagfest’ as an event was actually started in America, a European version was held in Germany at some point, and then only one U.K. version if the event happened, and I can’t establish if that actually happened in 2009 or 2010. But whatever happened with it, it seems people involved and those responsible for the European version it was poached from by Keyrun found it to be a source of bickering, in-fighting and drama and hence why no more of them took place. Thank you to the person who dug this information up and gives yet more evidence of his lack of credibility, lack of competence to put together a proper event, and lack of conscience in trying to build his own status up off the back of someone else’s idea. The concept of him being in charge of an event is laughable, and any event he has been involved in has ended up with withdrawn contributors, backstabbing and eventual complete collapse of future event possibility.
