  1. Thank you for the detailed response to my question. Using your information, I was finally able to get the joystick to work on Xenon 2 and a few other games. Apparently my machine is a bit picky about what ports the joystick and mouse are plugged into. I'm using a standard Atari joystick, black, one stick, and red button. It also works with my Commodore 64.
  2. I can't get my joystick to work on the Mega 2. I've tried both ports, with and without mouse. Any suggestions? Is the joystick driver part of the OS or loaded by an app? Thanks.
  3. Thanks for the suggestions. Of course I can use the 14 mg partition C drive until I find another solution. That's actually enough for most of my stuff.
  4. I am having trouble partitioning my sd card for use on Ultrasatan. Machine: Mega 2 TOS: 1.02 Driver/partitioner: P. Petari, latest version 1 imaged 16 gb sd card with 15mbuvf.img 2 booted ST and opened PPPMBUF.pgm 3 Clicked on ACSI 0 4 changed information from 14mb to 512 mg (later to 256mg when 512 did not work) on 4 or 5 of the drives. 5 Clicked PARTIT and INIT all 6 clicked back to Drive 0 Shows no new information, only 14 mg on drive C as before What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated.
  5. Will the Ultrasatan work on 520st with either major drivers, or is 512 k too little? I also have a Mega 2 German edition. Will ultrasatan work on it? Thanks!
  6. I've been using Contiki on my C64 with a 64NIC and it works great for telnet, web browsing etc. I found a port for the ST, but can't get it to work. I have the netusbee.
  7. Does anyone know any place in the US that would do the memory upgrade? I have no problem with UK, Europe, or elsewhere except for the postage and time.
  8. Not yet. I have downloaded the manual and it seems the first thing is to identify what motherboard you have.
  9. ...can I successfully install the Marpet memory expansion into my 1040ST? I have some experience with electronics, but I really don't want to mess up the motherboard.
  10. Mark, thanks a lot for this. This is the most complete information on sting installation that i've seen. Well, back to the drawing board
  11. I finally found the ethernec files and installed them. Sting loaded from the auto file of my c drive. Now I have a problem that the sting control panel port settings won't open. Any idea what's wrong?
  12. I just got the netusbee running on my 1040st and it works fine transferring files. Now I would like to set up other networking options. I'm trying to follow the instructions on ataridotorg. I'm having trouble finding all the drivers for STing, specifically the ethernec/netusbee driver, which apparently an stx file. According to other posts here, sting should run ok on my 1 meg machine. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
