Today I managed to get a game for 1p, which is the cheapest I've ever paid for a game. It was Jet Ski Riders for the PS2 and had a price tag of 99p, I think the guy behind the till must've made a mistake. *EDIT* I'm talking about physical games, not ones that you download.

I never thought of that. If it is just a keyboard, I wonder what computer it belonged to?

I don't actually have a pool game (love playing it in real life), I may pick one up some day.

I find most sports boring. But I do enjoy golf, rally, darts, fishing, and snooker video games.

Are there any light guns available for the PS2 which will work on an LCD TV?

They wouldn't work though, turns out that PLOT was printed as PILOT in the manual, I remember my nephew at the time pointing it out to me when I was trying to get a program to work which created thunder and lightening on the screen. I wonder if all the manuals had this mistake in them, or if it was something that was really rare? Anyone noticed PLOT being printed as PILOT in their 800XL manual?

I buy games to play, but because I have so many and becauase I buy games often enough, around 5% or 10% of them remain unplayed for months, 2 or 3 will remain unplayed for more than a year, since I can't play everything at once. If there's a game that I don't like and I know I'll never be interested in playing again, I'll just sell it for whatever money I can get for it, and if I can't sell it, then I'd happily give it away. This is why I have an end goal, a cut off point, where once I've got all of the games I'm interested in playing for the 4 systems I own, that'll be it, I wont be buying any more. Because as well as not wanting to have too many games, I want to play all of the games thoroughly that I enjoy in my life time.

I don't have any back ups at the moment, I would like to have a back up of each of my consoles but I can't really afford it. I did buy a back up Dreamcast once, and by pure coincidence, about 3 days later, my main one that I had for over 10 years died. So the fact that I bought a back up a few days before was definatley good timing.

I find it so hard to win anyone in this game. I always build up the smackdown meter, and use it to do a finishing move, but then 9 times out of 10 when I pin them, they always kick out before 3 seconds. And trying to pin them for 3 seconds without doing a finsihing move is pretty much impossible. The other night I spent around 30 minutes in a match, I just couldn't beat them, I ended up having to turn the game off. Does anyone have any tips? Thanks.

The Toca games look good from the video footage that I've seen, but I think maybe the games are going to be so similar to each other that it may not be worth getting all of them. What do you think?

Blue Stinger (Dreamcast). It was very easy to beat on the easy and normal settings, even the last boss was really easy, you've just got to make sure you have enough ammo. Except though, the game does seem to be very unintuative in places, and it ment I had to grab the game guide several times through out the game, since I had no idea what I was supposed to do next. And I think that's the only game I've beaten this year so far.

I'd also say Revenge Of Shinobi and Shinobi III on the Mega Drive, they just felt generic to me and I can't really understand why so many people find them so appealing.

I'd say pretty much all of the Ghouls 'n Ghosts (I know they didn't all have that exact same title) games for the reason you mentioned. As for Megaman, I've only played one of those games on a NES emulator, and it just felt really generic.

I like 2 or 3 different sports, but the rest I find unbelievably boring, especially the most popular ones.

If they're a horder to the extent that their collection is taking over their home, then possibly a little. Otherwise, no.

I don't really think I see it as modern or classic, just dated. But I still love it all the same though.

Definatley the 8-bit era. My favorite consoles are the Atari 800XL and the Atari 2600 Jr.

Are all copies of the game like this, or is it just my disc? I can only see a slight scratch on the disc, which I wouldn't have thought would be enough to cause the game to crash. I've even put the disc through a disc repair kit, but it hasn't made any difference.

I find it does this on the GBA port, which completely ruins the game for me. I was wondering if the original was like this as well.
