Atari has been on a roll in 2023. Anniversary Celebration, 2600+ & GameStation Pro. How are they going to top that in 2024?!

I subscribed, the market place has been invaluable over the years, plus lots of other stuff I enjoy here. Also anyone want poker for the channel f?

To finish what I was saying above I struggle with the forum format due to having pockets of communities stretched across three forums. One forum pretty much died, and the other is one I travel to less for no particular reason other than not being diverse enough. The third one is AtariAge which I will continue to check in with. YT and FB appeal to more my visual style. I feel I can say so much more with video. Thanks GoldLeader for your input!

AtariAge will always be part of my rounds. I have several friends here, and for many classic consoles and computers there is great discussion. However here are literally millions of other gamers around the world whom use FB and YouTube as their primary places to talk about games. I have had great discussions with gamers around the world and have seen some wonderful collections. All formats have their strengths and weaknesses. I have always struggled with the forum format because of ha...

Look, I have been around the scene a long time. I have organized game shows for nearly 13 years and have dealt with difficult people online and in person. I just feel that some people here are getting their feathers ruffled over silly nonsense. Underneath the backlash is the fear of other media outlets taking over.

Flojomojo I do post to my videos alot because I am passionate to share information. With my videos I pass my collecting information to others and share my love for Atari. Some people like to type, others like to talk. I like to do both. As a teacher and professor for many years, I just like to share information and don't get all bothered as to how I do it. Forums are great but they are not how the majority of collectors seek out information these days. AA can be a minefield at times...

Wow, where is all this coming from? I give back to the community constantly, have over 2000 posts here and I get blasted for recommending a subgroup collectors discussion about video games? ColecoGamer I have been around here alot longer than you Also, there are alot of other Nintendo systems than the Nintendo Switch. Some real old school rigid thinking going on here. My collection is just very diverse as my discussions and coverage. I dont fit into one mold. I am well aware of ho...

Neil Peart retiring. Was never a huge fan of Rush but had huge respect for their musicianship and tightness live.

I have a few copies left of Code Eliminator for Sega CD left

I was shocked and appalled as a kid when Super Mario Bros stopped getting more difficult after the third iteration of the levels. People forget that Atari games treated gameplay like a sport or a board game. You don't "finish" a game: you master it.

One benefit of working from home: Break time = pinball.

The RetroN 5 won't read any NES repro or hombrew games. Hopefully @Hyperkin is able to patch this through an update.
