Astro Grover went to a PRGE organizer. Thank You Wonder for sharing some info on this cart

My good friend Corey(who also found the 5200 Astro Grover Cart) found this 2600 cart. The cart has been tested and appears to be a final pre production of Missle Command. Pics included. The cart is currently being further analyzed for rom variations. We were able to even get the "RF" on level 13. Crazy that things like this are still surfacing so many years later. Got my cart last night and got to show Lord Thag as well(visiting me). Hands down best shooter on the system, and on of the best arcade conversions done by PacManPlus yet. Over 25 years after the system came out, fans are treated to wonderful projects like this. Truly an amazing job on this project...

Alot could be wrong with your unit. It is hard to find a working unit these days. It could be ram, it could be the main chip(hard to replace), it could be something else. I can tell you this...of all the classic gaming consoles, I have found the Astrocade to be the most difficult to find working...

Ditto for me. With PRGE completely WIPING me out, I have to say that your work totally rocks! I love your work and will definitely have some time to sit down and enjoy your hard work this winter.

They share history, and I think that it would be a nice addition.

Nothing but the best mods from this guy. A+++ in my book. Not a ton of people doing this mod so support him while he is doing it.

Range is I would say $80 to $100 in box that is in decent shape. I would say you paid fair market value. These are getting harder to get, so I think that I would at lease consider them uncommon these days.

Update on the project. Volume 4 is now done, which is a nice overview of Atari Systems, games, and accessories. It covers the following and is a two disc DVD set. I live about an hour north of Portland and plan on opening up a retro game club in Longview, WA in a local arcade burger joint called Minus World. It will not interfere with the Commodore dates and will be open to ALL GAMERS, ALL SYSTEMS(focus on older systems). You have a system and game you want to show off, bring it. It is going to a very humble meeting that is tentative Third week of October. Pretty much is a room of a half dozen old school TVs with systems attached to them open for people to play on. Since Halloween is coming up, the theme is Halloween themed games...The intent of this club is to celebrate gaming. We want to work with other local gaming clubs and want the focus on the spirit and passion of gaming.

I know that there was a vague update given to many, but now that Star Odyssey is now shipped. Seriously at this point, I am more than happy to order another game, and encourage others to do so. Maybe the little Zaku followers can finally get their game! I emailed this...hope I get a response. Several on Atariage are wondering when this will ship. Are you short orders for a production run to be made? How many do you need? Is there any more info that you can give on a shipment of the back orders?(been six months now for me). I know that I have asked this again, but how long should I expect to wait? I know that Star Odyssey took priority over this, but it would really be nice to have a more clear answer. Any new info would be most appreciated. Thank you for your time,

This was a CGE release last year. I would recommend for collectors only. Agree with Grizlee and go with others if you looking for a game to play(Gulkave is amazing) Was one of the first to buy it, #2 of 100

Do more need to be ordered to get a shipment of these made? If so, I am sure that we could promote it here to make that happen .
