  1. Maybe someone will be interested in what cassettes from the USSR look like. I have several pieces.
  2. The smallest version of the cartridge housing specifically for boards Super Salt by C64iSTANBUL. Perhaps I will adapt the new versions of the boards to such a small case.
  3. Blue&White version of the "Shrinked Cartridge" housing:
  4. Created a new project on PCBWay for shrinked version of SXEGS Cartidge. Just in case. Link to shrinked version on PCBWay
  5. Yes, strange problem on PCBWay. I have updated the Gerber files of the project, but the old PCB sizes are showing, although the files are showing the new ones.
  6. Link to PCBWay Project Try clearing your browser cache. You need Gerbers from "XEGS Cartridge_2022-11-10.zip".
  7. But, you will need a new "shrinked" PCB (fresh from PCBWay or from GitHub).
  8. Soldered another one. Works great right after soldering. Also, this is a soldering instruction
  9. Cartridge dimensions reduced to 84x64x20 mm.

Updated Project on PCBWay and Project on GitHub.

  10. Cartridge dimensions reduced to 84x64x20 mm. Updated Project on PCBWay and Project on GitHub.
  11. I think I can remove about three millimeters from the side of the connector. The pocket is too deep in my opinion. Maybe a little from the other side.
  12. Now dimensions is 90.75x64.0x20.0 without logo and notches for pulling out. With notches and logo - 90.75x66.0x21.0. 1mm notches from each side (+2 mm wide) and 1 mm (height) logo. SikorSoft housings: 85.0x65.0x???. What are the maximum dimensions allowed for ATARI 800 ? Will 88mm be enough or do we need 85mm? And yet, what is the height from the bottom of the cartridge to the board ? I made the cartridge so that its bottom was at same level as the table when used with the ATARI 65XE/130XE.
  13. But... Where is the lid ? 1200XL doesn't have a lid?
  14. Can you take some photos? Perhaps I need to make a chamfer on the case, reduce the height or something like that. There is no lid on the XE series, I can't check.
  15. "Instructions for creating a binary firmware file to flash in SST39SF040" added to README.md file. https://github.com/prcoder-1/ATARI-SXEGS-Cartridge
  16. I plan to do this, but a little later. In the same repository on github. And yet, as I understand it, it is necessary to create an instructions in English on how to create a binary files for flashing in EEPROM.
  17. Cartridge and PCB size reduced by 2mm to achieve 64mm cartridge width. For the new version of the case (v3 - 64 mm), only the new board (XEGS Cartridge_2022-11-09.zip) is suitable, the size of which is also smaller by two millimeters in width. PCBWay Project GitHub Project
  18. Yes, it looks like I can remove a millimeter from each side of the board without side effects. Then, the housing can be made two millimeters narrower.
  19. My cartridge housing: And SikorSoft cartridge housing: One millimeter difference in width. And, the board snaps into the grooves of the case. This might be a problem... I will probably have to reduce the PCB by one millimeter.
  20. Very strange geometry. Never seen ATARI 1200XL from this side. I need the exact dimensions of this entrance hole. And what about the ATARI 800XL ? It with the same entrance hole or not ?
  21. And what are its dimensions? Can you measure it?
