Firehose Replacement Thoughts

Hi All, Thought I'd ask before trying to recreate the wheel. LOL Any thoughts/experience on whether bluetooth could be used to replace the bulky PEB connection to the console? I tried searching the forum, but didn't see anything related to this topic. Sparkfun had some modules at one point and thought it might be fun to see if it would work. Thanks! Robert
