  2. I just listed three unique items on ebay: two of the more uncommon "Not For Resale" Nintendo DS promo kiosk demos and the Sega CD/Mega CD Pro CD-X cart which allows import games to play on any Model 1 console.

The DS demos are on eBay and the Pro CD-X cart is on chasethechuckwagon.com. Check them out. :)

  3. Wow, pretty quiet!

    ..Al

'Cause everyone is finally playing the game!! I just opened mine (#42!) and am absolutely thrilled with the extras and overall presentation. The wait has definitely been worth it! :-D

  4. Kutori:

All of your other prices seem reasonable, except for the cost of the PSX Debug. I do not know if there is a premium difference in price for the PAL units, but I would drop that price to no higher than $150, and that is only if you have all the cables, a set of controllers (appropriate for the revision hardware) and some memory cards. I have watched a couple of the blue boxes (BTW, what is the model # on this thing, DTL-1002? If so it is one of the earlier pieces...probably Rev. B). It is a good thing that you offer a power adapter for US sockets... that just opens up your potential buyer range. They are neat pieces of equipment to have, but I have seen people try to sell them for a couple hundred bones on eBay before, and they just sat there... not selling...not making the seller any money. $150 seems fair on the higher end of things with the extra goodies (that is what I paid for mine, complete. Incomplete ones I have seen go for as low as $60). Just trying to lend some advice, otherwise, it might take you a while to sell it, or you could lose money by having the price set a little high. If you had a Green console (Rev.C), this would be a fairly decent price for it.

The really insane thing is the original price point for these things...something like $1300 if I recall... no wonder many developers used a Game Shark/Game Hunter and swap trick, or just straight up modded the units!

Thanks for the advice, madhatter667... price has been lowered on the PSX debug unit. :)

  5. UPDATE: some items sold! Price lowered on the PS1 debug unit!

Hey all, I recently acquired some debug/development GBA and PS1 systems and just put them up on ebay. The GBA auction even includes (what I believe to be) a complete suite of software which was included with the kit. :)

  6. I don't trust zero bidders on protos let alone anything...Not saying you know them, that;'s just my thing. I tried to become the high bidder on the Gaiden III but gave up quickliy because of him.

I was considering not accepting/cancelling bids from zero-feedback bidders, but more often than not (in my auctions, at least), they've paid for the items. I think that some of them only join to find specific things, much like prototype games. But in this case, the reserve hasn't even been met, so I'm not too concerned at the moment. If the high bidder flakes out, I'll offer it to the next highest-bidder (though hopefully that won't happen!).

  7. I've got here an original How To Beat Home Video Games three-tape VHS set, back from 1982. Tapes play smoothly and covers have light wear but are in overall good condition. Unfortunately, Volume II is missing the cardboard slipcover.

    th_16759_How_To_Win_set_315lo.JPG

Asking $35 each + shipping for Volume I and III, $28 + shipping for Volume II. Or take all three for $90 + shipping. Payment by PayPal only. You can check my ebay feedback under the user ID kurtori on ebay (1700+ feedback). :)

  8. My excitement to finally play Adventure II continues to grow, even with the delays! The game is looking great. This is just a thought, but would it be possible to add in a small extra to those who preordered? Nothing major, maybe like an insert signed by the team & numbered in the order that the preorder that was placed? :D
