  1. Can anyone confirm if I got the wrong controller? I got a Power A Xbox controller.... though I didn't realize that it was a third party controller. It doesn't seem to work on the GSP even though it appears to be the same as mentioned Xbox controllers that work...?
  2. It was designed for casual fans coupled with holiday giving and nostalgia. This isn't a new concept. Overall, it looks like a solid version of this type of store sold version.
  3. The market for the 2600+ seems to be those with old cartridges or willing to hunt for them... that's more of a niche market.
  4. I don't see the two products as the same market. What casual fan is going to get a 2600+? Hell, like everyone here, I grew up with Atari, but I don't have my childhood 2600 or its games anymore. I'm not going to get a 2600+ and track down old cartridges. The My Arcade seems like a decent option for casual fans as is, but with potential to add games. That's much more interesting to me at least.
  5. I just got this one and I have a 9 - the interface is the same and it's weird that they just have wired controllers... the 9 had wireless with additional buttons to interact with the menu. It doesn't appear that they updated the interface to adapt to the lack of the additional buttons.
  6. Ok, You both have convinced me. I looked back at the Amazon listing and ordered... what's interesting is that they other day, it was going to take a few days, but this morning it was available for overnight (and yes, I ordered).
  7. I have a Flashback 2 and 9 Gold. I am tempted to get the new one... I'm not sure if it's worth it (based on having the two that I have), though it seems like it will be the last one...
  8. It was a pretty good run to have a decade or so of Atari editions. Clearly it tapped out for them and no other Atari console has the identity of the 2600 for them to have branched out.
  9. Quick question. I have an Atari Flashback 2. I am interested in getting one of the later versions for the additional games (no I am not getting rid of the 2). I saw that Flashback (I think) has Pitfall 2. Is that the only version? I didn't see it listed for the most recent version...
