  1. Congratulations and thanks for 10 years of hard work for the Neo-Geo (and SNK in general) community!, now, don't make Roomi and Cham Cham wait any longer and go and play some Neo-Geo games πŸ˜‰
  2. Just WOW!. I have to say i love to see Wang over there, i used to play a lot with him in AoF3 for NeoGeo CD 😁.
  3. It looks like i was a good enough guy and this year i got some NeoGeo games for Christmas / Los Reyes Magos ! I already had WH2J, but finally got WH and WH2, also Flip Shot (CD) and Super Sidekicks 2 (not in the picture) for MVS. Ideally i would love to complete the WH collection for AES with Perfect (I have it for CD), but it cost quite a bit more than i would pay... so it's out of the picture.
  4. After 2 or 3 months without playing Fatal Fury Wild Ambition for the Hyper NeoGeo 64, turned it on yesterday and got this error message "Hyper NeoGeo64 system log reader setup wait a moment" and the next message is an error code. I also have the 2 Samurai Shodown and they work fine. I have seen on the net more people with the same problem and no solution, so I'm not too optimistic, but hopefully...
  5. Awesome artworks @Franjo! A great way of celebrating a SNK themed X'mas!
  6. I remember that in my first contact with the stick (just arriving to the web) like maybe 1 year ago i thought it was a 500% bootleg product XD... it's kind of weird the comparison with the pro stick, like "See, Ours is SO MUCH BETTER than the official stick!, don't buy that shit, buy our twin stick!") XDDD. I had completely forgotten it, but just a bit before of commenting here, it showed up while browsing Amazon EspaΓ±a, so it got me interested again. It's a pity that it isn't themed after anything of SNK (like some stickers, or the color of the buttons) and it's just a random stick with some NG games.
  7. It has been available for a while but just recently came to my attention the Unico Fun R 1 that comes with a bunch of NeoGeo games; it looks to be made by the same company that created the mini, mvsx and stick pro... so it should be fairly safe but most of the comment i see are a bit mixed and that even if the hardware is good the software part is not quite up there. Any opinion about the twin stick?
  8. Oh, great!. Final Vendetta looks superb for other systems i hope the NeoGeo one is no different, sadly there isn't going to be a NG CD version and the AES and MVS are a bit off of my reach currently πŸ’Έ. I have to say that i find quite a bit suspicious that, as far as I'm aware, they haven't show anything (picture, videos...) of the conversion yet πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…
  9. There is 3 Count Bout... and the first King of Monsters! ^_^u (the second one was fairly different in the gameplay)
  10. Congratulations in this 9th Anniversary compadre!. Thanks for all your hard work in the Neo-Geo (and all SNK related things) community throught all these years. To celebrate this day, i have picked this classic Garfield comic strip πŸ˜‰...
  11. It's superb, the better of all the World Heroes games and probably my favorite, but i miss some of the wacky aspects of the previous ones like the stage hazards.
  12. I played the arcade back in the day, but it was mostly the NeoGeo CD version a few years later (actually had to wait until i got a CD Z, since it's one of the few games that doesn't work properly in a PAL system) and even later with the AES game, so that's what i have in my memory; the thing is that when i wanted to watch the intro again recently and... the game didn't had any intro ^_^uuu... i was starting to think my mind was playing tricks with me XD.
  13. After all these years I just realized that the MVS version of Magician Lord was missing the intro (OK, more like it got added for the AES) a few days ago, I had an idea for the 9th anniversary drawing and wanted to re-watch the intro... played the game in the NG arcade stick pro (with the hack), it was nowhere, played the Switch version, it wasn't there, looked some youtube videos, same deal (Of course it's there, just not in the couple of videos i watched) so at the end, went back to my trusty NGCD to check it out ^_^u...
  14. Oh boy, you always bring us the best SNK art of the best artists out there! ^_^Uuu...
  15. πŸ˜‚ My Nintendo Direct predictions are kind of like a letter to Santa with videogames i would like... and it just happen most are SNK related πŸ˜…
  16. I remember something about this part... i think they picked the same emulator that the Gametap service used not because it was the best or anything, just because in short notice (and probably for cheap) it was the best Humble bundle could do. All the games had an icon on the screen, you would do double click and it just worked like what you would expect of any PC game... the other option was selling you a bunch of files that doesn't do anything by themselves and telling you search in Google what to do with them ^_^uuu... of course you and I (or anyone here) wouldn't have had a problem looking for a emulator, but it had to be something that worked for everybody.
  17. Great!. The first time i got notice of the game was in a French magazine ("Console +" i think), *if* i remember it right they had a preview with some pictures and no release date way before the CD version was released. I really loved how it looked and was really wishing any of my local arcade centers would get it... and later i would get the CD version when released!. Well, it just went straight to CD! ^_^u
  18. World Heroes 2 for AES, Breakers and Hypernoid for CD (too bad Flip Out hasn't been shipped)... it has been ages since Los Reyes Magos delivered so much NeoGeo goodness to me 😊. It is looking so amazing already... it advanced a lot in no time!.
  19. Got to love the 3 demos, specially the pinball!. I would love to see something like Alien Crush for the NeoGeo... i think there were some videos of the prototype of an unreleased similar game πŸ˜”. Michael did a wonderful job with Hypernoids, so if we are a bit lucky, maybe...
  20. Wonderful way of starting the year!. I think i have say it a few times but i consider Magician Lord (and Blue's Journey) like a must have for any NeoGeo Collector, superb games that NG got at the start... but for whatever reason were never really followed up by similar games... i really wish the NGP Magician Lord were completed and released. To actually add something of value to this discussion ^_^u, i just completed Suchie Pai II (Switch, a mahjong game) but didn't got the good ending... so more characters to pick and hopefully get the good ending!
  21. Happy Mai Shiranui Birthday, i mean, New Year! πŸ˜…
  22. Merry Christmas my friend!. It's a pity we didn't get a new Xmas themed NeoGeo hardware this year πŸ˜‚. I love both of mine but with my Arcade Stick Pro i got all the ugly button stickers and yellow colors for the controller covers (I'm not too much of a fan of the yellow).
  23. Wow, i knew about Neo Thunder X and it really impressed me but first time i have seen NeoNoPanepon2 and it looks awesome, would love to play it in my NeoGeo CD Z!. Too bad both games are in hiatus, hopefully work in boths games will be resumed eventually.
  24. Most of the Aleck 64 games are 2d games that i doubt the HNG64 (or any other arcade board of the time) would have any problem with them, then there are the 3D games... which is hard to say, the HNG64 fighting games were comparable to PS or N64 fighting games of the time and Rev Limit doesn't exactly look better than the HNG64 driving games... so probably there wasn't that much of a difference in capabilities in both of the hardware and I'm sure both were a pain in the arse to work with (N64 was infamous in that sense and i have yet to hear anything good about the HNG64 ^_^u...). I love my HNG64, but yeah, it was a mistake, they needed a new NeoGeo but SNK should have aimed for *way* higher specs than the HNG64... and SETA, well, i can't really say but maybe they had better connections with Nintendo than SEGA or Sony, and at the time of creating a cheap and capable arcade board, instead of using the Titan or a PS1 based board they just used the N64, but anyone would have worked just fine.
  25. It was (and is) a superb game, it's a pity SNK didn't make Neo-Geo games of some of it's classics like Ikari or Athena (but somehow we got a Dinosaur Island!). I play often the fairly good ZX Spectrum version of Ikari Warriors 😌
