Realized my stupidity. I was trying to use a Monitor as an assembler. That's why none of my code worked.

  Try Supermon on C64. I think that can translate assembly to ML on the fly. It isn't a full assembler but it should be more pleasant that using a simple monitor.

  I'm using Merlin 64.
  
  Question: When i try to run the program, it looks for object code. But i have no idea how to add it.
  
  ideas? I'm using the 6502 games book on archive.org. For instance, I typed in the sounds program and saved a source but I don't know what to do next
