I don't like the first AVP. I genuinely hate it. I hate the lack of checkpoints, the godawful level design and the lack of a cohesive story. That's exactly why i love the sequel and the 2010 game, which is probably why the critics and certain purists out there hate it with a passion. Classic? Undeniably. Fun to play? Eh...not really
