  1. Have you tried using xDelta?
  2. Oh very nice! Where can I find more info on this flashcart?
  3. If anyone's been thinking about grabbing Rikki and Vikki for a playthrough on steam, now's a great time while it's on sale for only 99 cents. Can't recommend the game enough, I still think it's a must play. Double if you've got someone over for the holidays to co-op it with.
  4. That's a pretty sweet setup!
  5. Speaking of the soundtrack though, I saw there's a CD-copy of the soundtrack up on bandcamp and grabbed a copy today before that ends up selling out. https://rushjet1.com/album/rikki-vikki
  6. Man, I'm bummed to read there was a second game planned. Would have loved a sequel. This was an absolute gem on the system, and it's sad to see the ones making any money on this are the ones flipping it for a $1000 instead of the cool dudes at Penguinet. Played through it a lot on steam with a friend, almost got all the achievements too.
  7. Always regret that I waited to grab a 7800 first before trying to get the game for the 7800. Seeing people ask for almost $1000 for it online now is a big bummer. Is there any chance at all another print run could happen? Edit: Missed the other thread about this, I see that it's unlikely to ever happen.
  8. Seems like at that point you might as well just buy the original version on famicom.
  9. With Halloween coming up soon, I thought this would be a good one to post. Shame this gets such a bad rap, it's a pretty fun co-op game. This is probably one of my more favorite tracks from the game. Edit: Forgot about this one too, this another excellent track!
  10. Curious topic, what were some of your favorite songs and soundtracks on the NES. Post and link a few you remember enjoying. I always loved the ominous the opening theme for Journey to Silius.
  11. It's really hard to pick a favorite NES game, there's just so many great titles. I'd say based on how much I've played these three, they'd be around my favorite games. Those would be Rescue Rangers, Mega Man 4, and Journey to Silius. All three are very fun to play and have extremely memorable soundtracks.
  12. I think these are what I'm going to end up grabbing when I get the chance.
  13. Recently got a 7800 but the controller is really awkward to hold and stiff. My hands and wrists get sore pretty quickly from playing some robotron. Are there any other controllers out there that are better? 3rd party or official, don't care.
  14. Never heard of this game before, but it's a shame this got canceled. I really like the setting and aesthetics here.
  15. I was a kid growing up with the n64, but wanted an SNES the moment I saw Super Mario RPG. The graphics/art style had me really interested in the game.
  16. Wow this thread is certainly a blast from the blast. I would say if you're going to go the "buy bootlegs" route, you'd be better off in the long run just buying one of the SNES flashcarts. Then you're able to play any game on your system, along with rom hacks and homebrew games as well.
  17. Wow that looks really clean and sharp now. You did a pretty great job cleaning it up. Best of luck finding some adverts to mount on the sides.
  18. Wow, that's a pretty rad cabinet. Congrats on the lucky find. What's your plan of attack for refurbishing it?
