I don't have a yellow lead on the adapter or the tv. The tv has white and black instead of red,yellow and white.

Im sorry if I made this unclear im using a adapter that uses red,white,yellow cables and no I cannot use the modulator.

I have this beige TI-99/4a and when I have it plugged in and I turn on it shows static. 

I have a 5 pin din to RCA adapter and a RF modulator but the forks are ripped off and the on led won't light up. I don't know if the 5 pin din adapter is doing this or the computer. But the seller I bought it from said they connected it to a tv.
