Ultimately I ended up rebuilding my RetroPie image from scratch. I tools some of the configurations for jzintv from ByteKnight’s image, but that’s how I got my 8bitDo controller to work. Now, the only thing that I haven’t figured out is whilst in jzintv, I have a mouse pointer at top left of the screen. Everything else works perfectly.

Count me in! This and the super football are the two ECS games I wish I could play without the ECS keyboard. I do have ECS in emulation but just the two controllers. Can’t wait to try this out!

Hi. I know this is a stale thread but hoping for some help. I have a RasPi 3b+ with an ultimate pc interface and I use INTELLIVISION controllers. I am running cool_cv inside of RetroPie and I can’t for the life of me figure out how to setup the mapping file? I set it up how I THINK it should work using jstest to figure out what button is what on the controller. But nothing seems to work! has anybody got this to work who could help?

Greetings! New here. I have Byte Knight’s image running on a Pi 3B+ using his UPCI board inside my intellivision flashback shell. Intellivision works awesome. Attached a couple pics I have since enabled additional emulators (nes, snes, genesis, and couple others). I want to use my 8bitdo m30 with these other systems. Got the m30 paired ok, and even configured in EmulationStation, but none of the emulators see it. The autoconf.cfg file for retroarch looks pretty barren as well. Does anyone have any ideas why my other emulators don’t see this new game pad, but ES sees and configures it fine?
