Hey guys,
About 4 years ago I went to a market looking for vintage games and to my surprise found a vintage console that I thought was a Colecovision but this was much different. When I took it out of the box it turned out to be a weird off spring of the INTV and the Colecovision, the main thing I remember about it was the keypad. You know how there is normally 1 to 9 then clear and enter on the keypad, well this one had a dog. Thats right, where the clear button should be on the INTV there was a picture of a dog's head done all cartoon like, it was definitely not customized or any thing it was factory made like that.
That's all I really remember, had I of been into vintage gaming more back then I might have been able to get more details on it. Does any one know what I am talking about? I really would like to see this console again and find out what the hell the Dog button does!.
any help would be appreciated.

At least he didn't put "Use with Kids Controller" on the cart design. That would have been tasteless and gross. My heart truly goes out to any child who was in his life.

why are you so convinced michael jackson is some horrible pedofile? They had no real evidence both familes who sued were in debt problems/welphare and had tried to sue previously. Sometimes its important to do research on your own rather then just spewing stuff you here.
It seems like every post you get a cheap jab in. No one knows exactly what happened why ridicule someone for something that is very possibley untrue? Its sad some people try to make them selves feel better about themselves by bringing others down.
he was accused by numorous kids. whether or not it was for the money is besides the point. when you have more than one accuser, it shows a pattern and MJ matched it. the simple fact that he paid them off shows guilt. dont give me this "he wanted to make it go away" stuff. If he wanted to make it go away, he would have gone with the judicial system, not buying them out. Like I said in another thread, I was accused of a crime I didnt do. they wanted me to do time and pay damages. they gave me a choice: forget doing time and just pay for the damages. I refused. my second and only other choice was to take it to court. now, I could have easily paid the guy off to "make it go away" but I chose not to. I chose court and I took it to trial and won. now, If I paid the guy it would have showed that I was guilty.

I own about 25 Colecovisions and about a dozen ADAMs.
I am not sure why I need so many....its about buying every one I see. They are in every room in the house.
I cant walk by one without.....
All started at Chrismas 1984. I wonder how my life would have evolved had I got a Leisurevision instead.

My wife is worried about me. She likes our real names.
so, you either have 25 rooms in your house or you have 3 to 4 colecos in each room. this is going to sound strange but why would you have that many in one room, in every room of your house?
I owned up to about 7 but sold 5 off on ebay and have only 2 in the box left.

Ok, he may be a decent guy in other areas (still doubt it, considering how seemingly easy it is to set him off), but the way he worded everything was just hateful, and to me, he did come off as a dick.
people seem to miss his point, it barely has anything to do with MJ. He was sick and tired of the constant media coverage of MJ while our friends, children, cousins, brothers and sisters have been dying every day in the war and nothing is ever said. trust me, if your brother had died in iraq during the time MJ was mentioned on tv, youd be pissed, too.

Not sure if anyone knew about the Coleco.com website. It wasn't anything "really special" but a marketing site for the hand held Coleco systems that were supposed to be sold exclusively through Target a few years ago. Well, I just went there to see if anything changed...it did. The site is dead. Anyone aware of this?

It's great for Genesis stuff at the moment. The past 3 weeks I pulled off 2 different Genesis scores and a nice NES score. The first score was SMB/Duck Hunt/Track&Field, Ninja Gaiden, Megaman 3, Legend of Zelda and Kirby's Adventure for $5. Then the first Genesis score was a Model 2 with 15 games and a cart holder for $6. The second was a Model 1 with ~25 games 2 controllers and a copy of R-Type for the SNES for $25. Next week will be even bigger if this trend continues and this damn rain stops!!!! I should be in the Dix Hills/ Deer Park area this weekend as that area tends to have a lot of obscure things like the Nomad I got for $7 2 years ago.
theres so much stuff that I passed up and regretted it later. I passed up an atari 5200 in the box for $30 because I already had a better looking one. I also passed up a SNES with 20 games for $20 last summer because I never liked it.
It's been my goal to buy everything gaming related that I enjoy or that I can make a profit on by selling it to Play-N-Trade or Ebay.
well, hit some garage sales today. no coleco but i found a batch of atari 2600 cartridges, like 20 of them. i had most of them and I didnt have time to pick and choose. guy wanted $5 for them. the only game that stuck in my head was jungle hunt.

Umm... No he won't. I don't know if he really did molest kids, but if evidence ever comes out that he did then he'll just be 'that dead pedophile' in my book. A wonderful music career can't make up for doing something like that.

not to derail the thread but how many people that tried suing him for molestation did he pay off? that says it all. I dont need proof. one kid even described his privates in great detail. paying them off simply means your guilty and you dont want to go through the burden of the court system. if he was innocent, he would have tried it in court had he thought he could win. some guy tried suing me for smashing his truck up when I didnt. a friend of mine did but he wanted to see me do time. the state offered me a deal: pay the damages and everything is dropped or go to trial and prove my innocence. I chose trial and got off because the proof was against the plaintiff. I then turned around and sued him and the state for wrongful prosecution. sweet victory.

I personally love the ColecoVision but in my area games are IMPOSSIBLE to find!! I had to resort to ebay for my games.
garage sales. you'd be surprised what I have found over the years at garage sales. some really rare games for pennies!
No there's nothing that far back at garage sales. The oldest i've been able to find recently were NES games. Last year i found a 2600 controller and that was about it. Recently all I've been able to find was Genesis stuff.

I wanted to say that Im a huge coleco fan and comparing the coleco to the 5200 is like comparing transformers to go-bots!

hey, you never know! Im a die hard when it comes to garage sales and you have to hit them hard and fast because theres always someone else out there looking for the same things you want. I hit about 50 garage sales in a 2-3 hour time frame all in massapequa. I know I miss alot of the stuff but you cant be everywhere all at once. Your area is quite nice and I could imagine the items you can find over there.

that I was hanging out in an arcade, with about 12 video games, and all the coin boxes were left UNLOCKED! I dont remember how much I got in the dream, tho.
how many of you encountered unlocked coinboxes? if so, what did you do? be honest!! i think 7 years have gone by so legally you would be safe and not being subject to persecution!
