  1. Aparently this game is rare! Something of a find!AMAZING FIND!!!
  2. Oh, I get it. Sorry.
  3. Yeah I found a heavy sixer just the other day "in the wild" at a thrift store I had never been to. I was $7 bucks, had two crappy torn up controllers included (which I left) and no power supply. The store owner told me he didn't think it would work but when I got home, lo and behold, it did! The power switch is real worn and glides smoothly instead of click and I have to hold it in place for a second for it to work. (anyone know how to fix this?) But I couldn't just leave it there. They also had a Texas Instruments video/computer machine, like the old Atari 400's (just the keyboard deal) but I didn't get it. If anyone is interested I can pick it up and send it to you. I'm certain it works. I found some games for the TI as well at the Salvation Army and other places too. Real cheap.

    Font name?

Why, I happen to be Dale Crum. Which font are you looking for? Bauhaus, SF Atarian, Futura, Avant Garde?
  5. originally posted by Das Nachtphantom quote: Oh...keine kleine Maus wohnt hier. No, I meant Kleine. Like Tiny Mouse Lives Here. Like I said, These are only for demonstration. I had orinally used those two Activision (and Activision-esque) labels for other reasons, but here only for demonstration. By the way I love German and the German Atari variations. I was in Germany not that long ago, in Bonn and Königswinter. I really liked it there. Here sucks.
  6. quote: "kleine maus wohnt hier" ??? you got me puzzled ..... what game is that supposed to be? jah fish I made these labels for fun and was just using them for the demonstration. (In case anyone wonders, these are not real games)
  7. I'm completely anti chat rooms. I like to be able to go back and read what is going on, what everyone is talking about and be able to catch up without asking stupid questions. I would not use a chat room and would probably stop attending. I enjoy the message lists here at Atariage. I can go back at any given time and step into a conversation without being too lost. I SAY NO TO CHAT ROOMS, EVIL, VILE, THINGS. ONLY BAD WILL COME OF IT I TELL YOU, BAD.
  8. I have "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" playing right now. It's a burned copy from a record.
  9. Well, I just completely redrew the Activision and Atari (black label) labels by hand in Illustrator. I made them exact down to the smallest detail. Leaving out only the artwork which I like to fill in later. its a pretty effective method, once I had the label the art was a snap. I also created a German version as well I love those German carts. see below. Remember I created these in Illustrator, so any pixilation you see is due to web complications or Photoshop shrinkage. These are primo vector graphics. As for the printing, I'm down with some photo quality paper but spraying with spray adhesive never works for me. I always find that it peels later. But I coundn't think of another method. [ 03-01-2002: Message edited by: Monster greifen an ] [ 03-01-2002: Message edited by: Monster greifen an ]
  10. Good lord, WC. I hope for everyones sake you win. And I suppose thats not a high price for the game but paying $500 bucks for an Atari game is insane. The guy probably got the thing for free. But, alas, that is the way of things. I hope you do win. As for me, I'll take the emulator way on this one. I can't afford these prices.
  11. Speaking of rare. How do we know anyone is telling the truth about these prototype games. I'm a graphic designer who could easily make a very close facsimilie of one of those labels and sell it for millions on ebay. Of course I have respect for Atari and would never do that. But how hard could it be? This guy is proving its easy to take any VHS video box stick a game instruction inside the sleeve and sell it as rare. I would hate to be the moron bidding on this.
  12. Good for you, I hope you win. Stomp a mud hole in his ass!
  13. No way, suckas! That sweet red is all mine. I just got my tax returns in the mail and it's all going toward my shoe collection. You best be checkin' yo sefs. I got my name from spider fighter translated by some weirdo for the german version. "Möge die Macht mit dir sein," jahfish.
  14. Check this one out. Holy Moly! This bidder will pay any price watch out. This is the same dude paying nearly $500 for that cubicolor game. I'm not even going to try. Qbert's Cubes Ebay [ 02-27-2002: Message edited by: Monster greifen an ] [ 02-27-2002: Message edited by: Monster greifen an ]
  15. I was expecting something related here. I laughed mein po off fo a good ten minutes. That was amazing. How exactly did you managed to find this? You must have been more bored than me.
  16. I pay on average $3.00 a game. That includes the Salvation Army (Outrageous and just went up to this price). At the local GameXchange I pay up to $2.99 and as low $1.99. Which I also feel is outrageous but what else can I do? I have to have my fix. Ebay is my only oher option. It's rough living here in the armpit of america, Arkansas.
  17. stupid site, it's still down. I want my cheap Atari too.
  18. madness i tell you, madness!
  19. Very funny. I just read that string of comments on good ol Mike R. I hope he sees it and writes in to defend himself. As for this entire string of nonsence about the T-REX game for the Atari 2600. My Atari is fixed and it is indeed a copy of Adventure. Some foolish carpenter stuck a dumb sticker on it. So everyone should note. THIS IS NOT REAL, IT IS A COPY OF ADVENTURE. FALSE ALARM FALSE ALARM! SORRY EVERYONE.
  20. How exactly does one test a Coleco game on the Atari 2600, Weirdo!? I made that mistake once I bought Looping and realized later it wouldn't fit in the Atari slot. Of course I took it back! rock!
  21. OK, now I honestly think this is a copy of adventure and someone just stuck a stupid sticker on it. What a pile of crap. Sorry to get everyone worked up over this. I though maybe I was onto something here. I will post further detail, but I believe this is a hoax. And since I found the stupid thing that's what I'm going by.
  22. More information: the number on the front is cx-2613 maybe that will help. I can't figure this one out. Although it is the exact same dimensions as a 2600 cart. Weird huh?
  23. So what other systems besides Cleco have the same size carts as Atari? Unfortunatly my Atari isn't functioning right now. I'm working on it. I will scan the cart as soon as I can. Thanks for checking everyone.
  24. Not yet but I should soon. Check this out though. It has a blue square on the front of the cart, right in the middle, with a picture of the beast (T-Rex) facing left and it simply says Tyrannosaurus in the top right. HUH? Someone needs to do some explaining. I haven't played it yet, my system is on the fritz. Where the heck do these wonderful toys come from? [ 02-23-2002: Message edited by: Monster greifen an ]
