    I don't normally buy a movie just because of a cool slip cover but I would buy this one regardless of the movie.

    This is so cool, MVD is releasing the 1983 movie Joysticks on Blu-Ray in 2025 and they have this Atari 2600 style slipcover for the release. Description: When a successful businessman decides to shut down the local video emporium, a group of dedicated gamers battle to save the arcade.

    Just a quick update, I got my new 7800 Mod from -^CrossBow^- and a new 7800 Controller from edladdin (Long Story) and for the frst time last night I was able to play Popeye in all it's glory! It took me back to the Golden Age of Arcade Games, darryl1970 did an absolutely amazing job and I look forward to playing this cart for many years to come.

    Ok, I sent my 7800 to @-^CrossBow^- and he has already finished the upgrade and he sent me a cool video with a lot of the behind the scenes activity and best of all he showed me that Popeye now works and looks amazing! He has already mailed the 7800 back and I should have it in a few days. Thanks again for those who recommended him and a HUGE Thanks to the man himself @-^CrossBow^- for the fast and amazing work, I can't wait to play Popeye!

    Well I got the replacement cart for Popeye and it does the exact same thing, my 7800 is an old AV mod so this must be what's messing it up. I also bought Beef Drop from the Atariage store at the same time and it works but everything is Green I may need to buy a newer 7800 machine with a better AV MOD.

    Yes, I tried to pull the cart out a bit, unplugged the system and nothing. My other 7800 games work just fine.

    I'm so sad my cart isn't working, I just sent a message to albert and hopefully I can get a replacement cart quickly.

    Donkey Kong PK is amazing, the amount of effort @tep392 put in to that was stellar. I didn't list it because I was only going by original releases but I agree Donkey Kong PK is one of the best games currently available for the 7800.

    It's 100% Collector Mentality, the 7800 has a limited number of games so when a new one pops up it becomes very exciting. Recently @darryl1970 created a homebrew of Popeye for the 7800 and the excitement surrounding the release is off the charts.

    I'm surprised that no one mentioned Desert Falcon for best game! I currently own 39 Atari 7800 Games (Complete in Box) and am going for the set but there are a few that go for Crazy money! My Favs are: Desert Falcon (Amazing Graphics, Fun Game Play) Food Fight (Great Arcade Port) Alien Brigade (If only all Light Gun Games also used Joystick) Xenophobe (Great Arcade Port) Least Favs are: Karateka (The controls suck) Sports Games (Never have enjoyed Sports Games) Light Gun Games (Don't own a Light Gun or a TV that would play them) Flight Simulator Games (Never Liked Flight Simulator Games)

    With all the amazing 7800 programers on AA i'm sure someone could take this from "Beta" to "100% Complete" including Pokey sound improvements!

    I'm glad that the Atari Universe has Honest and Loyal folks that would honor someones choice. Toki may not be great but those of us that collect 7800 games want it just because it's part of the 7800 mythos and not so much for the game play. I'm sure someday the person who made the discovery will release this in one form or another but until then we can dream
