  1. Hi Everyone, Sorry for the long delay in posting, but things have been hectic! The Direct 4 Entertainment site in association with Telegames has now launched under the name direct4games.com We have stock taked most Jag and Lynx games amongst some other platforms and are adding to the site daily. It is working and live to take orders so please check it out. If you don't find what you're looking for don't worry, it's probably hidden behind the mounds of stock here and not been listed yet so check back regularly. Hope everyone is well and please enjoy the site. We hope you all like it. Best Regards Direct 4 Games!
  2. Hi everyone, sorry for the late reply to your posts, but as i am sure you can appreciate we have been extremely busy over the festive period. We would like to say that the website is almost complete and is in testing at the moment, our developers have also been very busy and are doing their best to get things up and running asap. Here is a link to the screenshot of the site in it's development stage, and as you can see we have the retro sections as well as the modern gaming platforms: http://www.direct4retro.co.uk (remember this is not 100% accurate as you will notice the tab displayed is atari when in fact the content is home page content!) We are still going to be reducing prices on our stock and will be sending out mailshots to all registered customers with regular offers as well as massive offers on the site. There are going to be several domain names you can access the site with, for you guys the easiest is www.direct4atari.com, which will go straight to the atari section. we will publish a list of domains in good time. We are adjusting pricing for shipping and we think we now have a more accurate pricing structure for our products, so good news there. We have said that we will do our best to reply to these forums but please please be patient. Best Regards to all, Direct 4 Entertainment / Telegames

  4. We have just registered on the Jaguar Sector II Forum, but we didn't know about until we were invited to post there so thats why. We are very busy as you can imagine so have had little time to reply to posts, but you will see posts on other forums too, please be patient.
  5. Here's the situation. Telegames was quite happy to sit on a lot of this product for years and years, selling ones and twos off here and there. We at Direct 4 Entertainment can see that at this rate this stock will never sell. We obviously want to turn some of this stock into cashflow, but as we feel Telegames is a bit out of touch, we want to get more involved with the consumer, (why else do you think we're even entering these forums now?) The stocks were bought direct from Atari when they went bust in the UK, and the rest came from Telegames USA when they stopped supporting older systems. So we still have these stocks for two reasons..one because we had so much to start with, and two because the prices were too high for people to buy them. Now here's what we don't want to do: We sell a game worth £50 for £20 and sell out, only to see that a lot of average joe's with a jag collecting dust in the loft buy the games, with no respect the product, and let it get tatty and then possibly even thrown out. Making these products available to everyone would mean the true collectors and enthusiasts would lose out. After all, that's what most of us are in here for. So we do want to maintain some kind of reasonable value to the products. We didn't come in here to get abused, we came here to ask the honest opinions of the people who matter. So lets leave the negative atitude at the door and get down to some serious issues, sorry, not the war this time, we're talking Atari stock here! Thank you all of you for your help, it's greatly appreciated.
  6. Ok thank you, i've got the JaySmith Price guide now and we'll take a look at that, your comments are appreciated guys and we will take them all into account.
  7. Well no, we could drop the prices, but we do have what is probably some of the last stock of many classic games in the world. People have said about our prices being too high, so here's your chance to have your say. If we feel your suggested prices are realistic and we are willing to drop the prices to that level then maybe we will. We could read the silly posts on some forums saying that we sell a game for £79 when you can find it on ebay for £40...but are you really going to be happy when that ebay purchase arrives in a tatty crushed box? I don't think so. We have MINT stocks and will package them with their condition and value in mind. So rather than comparing ebay prices etc, we want your input. We have an idea and have been researching our prices, it will be interesting to see what replies we get here to see if we are accurate. But if you want us to keep the price of that game you really want at its usual price, then maybe we shouldnt give you this opportunity?!!
  8. Right, as many of you will know, Telegames UK has a bit of a reputation for having high prices. Well, Telegames are now in association with Direct 4 Entertainment Ltd, and together we are going to be launching a new e-commerce website in order to sell all the Telegames stock at realistic prices. So here's where you come in.... You guys know the value of these products more than most people, so we are asking for you to suggest REALISTIC prices for some of these games. We'll then take your views into consideration when we come to launch these games onto the new site (www.direct4entertainment.com). Here's a list to start with.. Jaguar... ATARI JAGUAR - Alien Vs. 9. We have over 60,000 different product lines in stock, so i can't answer any questions regarding available titles just yet, please be patient and wait and see when the site goes live, thanks
  10. Krazy Ace? I believe we do...have to wait and see when the site goes live
  11. I personally do not know, but as soon as i find out i'll gladly pass on all this information. Our aim is to make our site the number one source for games, we all know about companies like Game, Gamestop, EB Games etc.. but we want to provide and support all the retro stock as well as the new stock for as long as possible. We'll definately be setting up information sections of the site so you can see the progress of games in development, along with lists of games we will not be producing.
  12. We have the retro USA stock, we are UK based but are going to be shipping worldwide, so no worries there.
  13. We did lose a lot of the masters in a tornado in the USA so some titles will never be produced. But we will look at releasing some of those prototypes that were almost finnished if we can. We're thinking of setting up a section on the site where you can make donations toward the development of a game, in return we will send a free gift (so you feel you have actually bought something) and when we get enough funding we'll look into developing that game. This way we'll see what there's a demand for and if we decide not to go ahead with that title, the funding will go towards another unreleased title. Just a thought so far so don't take it as gospel!
  14. Telegames UK are now in association with Direct 4 Entertainment Ltd. Direct 4 Entertainment are taking Telegames's whole business operation to a new level. With a new full e-commerce website in development with features like Pre-Orders, Back-Orders, Reward Schemes, Wish Lists, Bundle Offers, Order tracking and more, it will aim to be the online source for videogame related products. All Telegames UK stock is now going to be available for purchase through this new site. Much of the stock may have never hit the net before and some rare items never released anywhere. Telegames will continue to manufacture its own title games, and prices for the games are being re-evaluated to suit the market. Prices have always been purposely kept high to maintain the value of the products, however decisions have now been made to drop prices and make more stock available to the public. Delivery prices have also been revised, as Direct 4 Entertainment has decided this needs attention. The new website Direct 4 Entertainment is due to launch in later this year, but may launch sooner depending on it's progress. We should be fully operational and aim to have most of the stock available by february. Old retro titles will be available as well as all new stock with the options of pre-ordering. Consoles, Games and Accessories for many of the old favourites are going to be once again back up for sale . As many of you may know, most of Telegames UK stock is Mint condition, and before never sold. As there is such a huge inventory of stock being added to this site, you must appreciate that it will take time for every item to be listed. We aim to provide lists of the stock we're planning to add and eta's so please don't email asking when items will appear. But we aim to get as much online as soon as is possible. We're still buying, and are currently sourcing stock from anywhere and everywhere, including all the old retro classics. In the meantime, we're adding some stock to Amazon.co.uk and beginning to create pages for these items too, so take a look. We'll try and provide updates as to what's happening in these forums as and when we can. Regards to everyone, and we hope you'll be suitably impressed with the new site.
