I was wondering weather the 7800 could use a ARM co-processor like the 2600 does with DPC+? Or even the 5200 for that matter.

Yeah Doom and Dark Forces were the first FPS that I every played and liked. Followed by Half Life and Quake 2. The FPS really moved me away from console gaming and to the PC market. The 007 on the N64 was the only FPS I liked on console systems.

This video was on tomshardware. And I can say from experience this is true. Way back when I went with an AMD xp1700. It was my first AMD CPU. I got all the parts in the mail and assembled it. Booted the system and started installing Win XP. Thought I would take the dog for a walk while windows was installing. Came back from my walk and instantly smelled the burnt electronics smell. Looked inside the case and the heatsink had fallen off and let the smoke out. Fried CPU and motherboard. It was the only time I ever owned an AMD. Went back to Intel shortly after that indecent.

I didn't have a 5200 BITD. When I started collecting systems Adventure II was being developed. I bought the system for that game and for star raiders. Adventure II was one of my first purchases from AtariAge. Once I got a gold controller and a trac ball that helped make it one of my favorite systems.

I prepayed way back in November 2010. Switched ISP's and no longer have access to that email account. My dumb ass didn't keep copies either.

I have not played the XE version but I like the 5200 version over the 7800 version.

This game is in regular rotation on my 7800 emu would love to see it get a proper release. This is the kind of game you never play the same way twice.

Yeah I had the disk version. The plastic on mine was white instead of red. I would think 10th Frame would have used the same device.

Is there anything that can be done with the fire buttons? Mine have to be pressed really hard to register. I took it apart and cleaned and oiled the rollers and now it rolls fine. The fire buttons look good the plastic that covers the leaf is intact and the springs are there but they still don't work right.

Leaderboard by Access used this for copy protection. You couldn't play the game without it.

Finally dug my 5200 out of storage. Went to use my SD cart and the SD card has became unreadable. I need the menu file for the SD card. I have emailed Steve but haven't got a reply. Anyone have a copy of the file that I could have. I am ready to play some of the new conversions. Zaxxon is calling my name. Thanks
