  1. Thanks so much for making this available!
  2. Glad to hear there is still support for Distant Lands. My efforts are still going forward in my spare time -- slowly, but surely. Rest assured, an immense amount of planning has already gone into carefully crafting a large world map, developing the storyline, and evolving a custom toolset for easily fine-tuning everything. All this work will not be lost; this game is a labor of love. When it's ready, it will be released for Lynx fans.
  3. "Gauntlet the Third Encounter" was orignally called "Time Quests and Treasure Chests", but got rebranded by Atari, to use the familiar Gauntlet brand-name. Along similar lines, "Monster Demolition" got a makeover, ultimately getting branded as familiar "Rampage."
  4. Definitely not download only, looks like the 3DS carts will be a slight variation on the DS cart size, with a small tab, so that they won't fit into the DS systems, but regular DS games will still fit normally into the 3DS system. And I think the 'software install' reference is out of context. Download only software can already be saved into the DSi memory, eliminating the cartridge requirement; So this feature will obviously carry forward to the 3DS. But to be able to copy from a cartridge into the internal memory is an entirely different concept -- and unlikely.
  5. Thanks so much for the story about Barbarian Bodyguard! Very interesting to hear all the details! Sounds like you were certainly on the brink of some revolutionary gameplay developments! I swear I've seen a single screen-shot in some gaming magazing, back in the day. (Despite the fact that Peter's Atari Times interview says that no screen shots were ever taken.) -- I'll try to see if I can locate it this weekend!
  6. Peter, I love games you worked on like Todd's Adventures in Slime World, & Gates of Zendocon! Anything you could tell us about the cancelled adventure, Barbarian Bodyguard, for the Lynx?
  7. DS games added. Buy any DS game, and choose any GBA game free from the list.
  8. Games all sold, thank you for your interest!
  9. Great price for your Turbo Express. And the sound problem is easily fixed with a capacitor replacement. A shame that I've already got three of these units.
  10. To further entice those interested in this cool Japanese Klax Cart -- In addition to the the different cart label, and different cart design, the game itself is not exactly the same as the standard release, there are many differences that I outlined in another post, here. Edit: I just noticed that The_Laird stated that has another copy that plays exactly like the original English version. I'm not sure if this copy for sale matches the English version or not; Sorry for the confusion. Regardless, this is a very cool lynx item to own.
  11. I've been enjoying this game lately, put about 10 hours into it. The controls are certainly an acquired taste, and some of the backtracking aspects can get a bit tedious -- but still great fun.
  12. All three Posters are new, mint condition. These are the posters that come with the Limited Edition version of the game. $10 shipped for the set. Will accept Paypal. Let me know if you're interested. Thanks!
  13. Went to my local FYE yesterday -- Only 75% off on New GBA, XBOX, GC, PS1, and PSP(UMD). Got some decent GBA games and PSP movies for 1.25 to 5.00.
  14. Awesome table! I'm impressed. I did find my extra Super Mario DX, if you still need it -- you'd be happy with the condition. I'd be more than happy to trade it for any gameboy game (orig./color/advance) I don't already have. PM me your address, and I'll get it out to you.
  15. I eagerly await a photo of a Vectrex 'modeling' one of these fine covers.
  16. Would love to see a photo of the display when you're done. I might have an extra Super Mario DX, I'll have to check. If it's for a display, I'm assuming you're looking for clean, good looking labels?
  17. Very nice Turbo Express being offered here. I've replaced the sound caps in both of my own units -- It's a pretty easy fix. Whomever buys this system from Dazz, I'd be more than willing to walk you through the process.
  18. A year later, finally photos have been released of the first fully assembled Pandora. With any luck, first units could start shipping before Christmas. I sure hope so. Because of the delay, some people cancelled their orders from the 'sold out' first batch. So there's the potential for a few hundred to still be available, but I can practically guarantee that these late orders won't get shipped until early next year. Anyhow, email to openpandorasales@gmail.com, and ask them if you can get into the first batch. If you can, they'll reserve a slot for you, and get back to you with pricing details and payment instructions. News of the first assembled unit only exploded within the last 24 hours, so anyone with a glimmer of hope to get in on the first batch should inquire quickly. And a new now.
  19. For the most part, the same cart labels and packaging was used worldwide. Although, there a handful of exceptions to this rule -- seen in the photos below. Several early Japanese releases got re-designed instruction manuals, (but identical carts/boxes/cart labels), while Klax got a box/manual/cart label that's completely different than the worldwide release (the game itself also has several key differences from worldwide release -- even the plastic of the Klax cart is a different design, with an unusual rectangular protrusion in back.)
  20. Good work, I think the white lynx looks great. When I went to the CGE in Vegas, I saw the prototypes for the "His and Hers", pink and light blue colored lynx prototypes that Atari was thinking about distributing:
  21. I got this recently during the TRU B2G1 free sale. Finally gave it a try for 30 minutes last night. Sure, the graphics are pretty, but I'm not even vaguely interested in the gameplay yet. It's a little disappointing, because I'm a huge fan of a large variety of 2D platformer/action games, such as Metroid, Castlevania, Mario, Sonic, etc. Maybe part of it is the 'pressing up' to jump dynamic that bothers me in Muramasa? I don't know, it didn't bother me at all in Rush N' Attack. Anyhow, anyone who's played this game for more than 30 minutes, please chime in and let me know if the game gets better, or if its just more of the same.
  22. Great release -- absolutely love the original "curved lip" game card design. The Lynx I has always been a favorite of mine, so excited that this game naturally fits, unlike many homebrews.
  23. The DLC for the 360 version comes on a separate disk than the main game, where the DLC needs to be installed to your HD. Like the Fallout DLC discs that were sold, there is no restriction on installing these on an unlimited amount of consoles. So I expect these to be available cheap secondhand. The PS3 GOTY release, on the other hand has all the content packed onto a single Blu-Ray disk, so the secondhand market will maintain the price longer.
  24. Great communication, fast shipping, perfect careful packaging of the games I bought. A pleasure buying from you, I really appreciate it.
