      The wedding is in Zvishavane, Zimbabwe. Zelda's engagement ring is from Zales. The reception is at Zaleski, Ohio. They will have a band playing zydeco, ZZ Top & Ziggy Marley songs on a zither. Zack "Zit-face" Zimmerman will be serving zucchini & old Zima bought from an old Zellers store.

    For some reason I want to use computer backup tapes to create a new VCR format. Utterly impractical, for a variety of reasons, but the idea is still bugging me.

      The amount of tape in a backup tape probably wouldn't be enough to record a few minutes in VHS or Beta quality.

    Even Ronald McDonald wanted to play Neo-Geo back in the 1990's. He didn't want to be a "Happy Meal", he wanted to be a real "Hot Dog" on playing the ultimate arcade units around. :D

      Ordered a copy. Several years ago, I made a DVD of the special (with commercials), and added subtitles to it, warning me to mute the volume before somebody starts singing.

       

      Terrible show, but better than The Phantom Menace.

    I was thinking how BITD, when Atari and ColecoVision were king, you almost never heard them mentioned or advertised on TV, give or take a few Saturday morning ads, or good 80's movies that knew how to sprinkle in pop culture references...Back then it was almost as rare as hearing a real heavy metal song on the radio.

      On the wikipedia page for Tandy Corporation, they acquired  Video Concepts  in 1985. I think it was a national chain, because I have visited one (a mall in Olympia, WA) several times in the 80s and early 90s.

      From the movie Hollywood Cop. Line was said by the character Capt. Bonano played by Cameron Mitchell. Got that movie from the local dollar store. The guy who directed this film also directed the equally bad film Samurai Cop.
