I have an AtariMax device attached from my Atari to a PC. I used a 10ft USB cable with gold connectors on it. It works perfectly and never hiccups...

In September 2021, I got my rather large collection of Atari 8-bit equipment out of storage and tested most of it... and then over the next year, I sold it 95% of it. I did this because I am over 65 now and I didn't want my wife to throw it all out if I passed suddenly and she definitely would have thrown it out not knowing what it was or what to do with it. I still have a few bits left for my personal use. Now she's bitchin' about the guitars...

I don't recognize any of those, but then I am running Pro 2.1a which only had a Waitcall.cmd module for it. I may have acquired a newer one that blanks the screen when a user is online. It works well at 9600 baud. All of these extensions may have been done by later owners of the system and that is why I would not be aware of them. Steve Carden calls his version TCPIP Express. Maybe he knows about them... Or maybe other Pro Sysops like @JohnPolka or @moonlight_mile know about them...

Maybe 1981? I was 26 in 1981. Because my company was starting to get new printing presses and other machines that had computers on them, they paid for me to take a Basic Programing class at Radio Shack on the old TRS-80s to learn about computers. I fell in love with the computer and turned that 1st class into a career. Within a year or so, I had purchased an Atari 800... and the rest is history.

I used the Action Editor for most stuff... sometimes TextPro. LeBreak for animation stuff. Now days I use FJC's little editor (RIF or I forget what it is called) Jon?

From your pic above, the lower locking tab is not locked over the board indicating that the board is sitting up too high...
