you don't know the difference between composite and S-video, but we're to take your word on frames per second? Go back to your PSP and leave the REAL gaming to the adults.

Am I the only one who couldn't stomach Kingdom Hearts?

no. -
I'd give my left nut for a NGPC to PSP control mod. I finally played Gradius collection and it's (to me) almost unplayable. The d-pad isn't responsive enough, and the analog nub is too unreliable. Bewteen the awesome arcade collections and emulators, the PSP really needs a decent d-pad. I'm aware of the capcom thing you stick on the d pad, but would rather have the nice clicky stick from the ngpc.

shut your mouth you PSP worshipping graphic whore. I bought this game yesterday, and it's very very good. I'd highly encourage anyone slightly interested to definitely pick it up. I've been playing it for ten hours now, and can't stop playing.

You're stuck on a desert island with just your Jaguar...

Tempest 2K Club Drive Dragon Cybermorph Supercross I'd only play T2K, and keep the rest to remind me how great Tempest is compared to the rest of the library. -
are you 12? There's been many games I never beat, that doesn't make them bad. It means I suck at games. A bad game is a bad game, whether you beat it or not.

actraiser usually goes for around $10-$15. EVO around $50.
-
um, no. 3 Ninja's Kick Back, Bill Laimbeer's Combat Basketball, Double Dragon V, and Tecmo Secret of the Stars beg to differ. Along with most of the rest of the Library.

Did half you guys even read his post? Most make mention of crap he already stated he doesn't like. You want crazy/eclectic you need to track down EVO. Not cheap, but very entertaining you start out as a small ameoba type thing, and eat others things to grow and evolve. If you liked Sim City, how about Sim Ant or Civilization. Granted their computer counterparts were better, but I know many people who love them on the SNES. Also Actraiser. It combines a light Sim City type game with a great sidescrolling action game. Even if you don't like the action parts, the town building and music make it worth it to play. Blackthorne is a great action game. It's kind of Prince or Persia-y with more combat. But the shooting isn't bullet hell or anything. It's very well paced. There isn't much on the SNES I still play, but these games as well as Keio's strategy games(Romance of the Three Kingdoms, PTO) are games I have been able to go back to without thinking how badly games have aged. Something that can't be said for a lot of 16 bit games, including the role players.

but one franchise can give a certain edge to help solidify a companies standing with market mindshare. Look at what Final Fantasy VII and Grand Theft Auto 3 did for Playstation an dPlaystation 2 respectively.

Ballblazer because Donkey Kong was made by Miyamoto who gets moer repect than David Crane, and that crap ain't right. So to make up for that I'll vote some else's game above his.

we're all fanboys here

it would have looked like crap. The Saturn was a 2D monster, but not THAT much of a monster. I'd go Dreamcast. It has the potential to offer oustanding 3D and 2D graphics. I loved the saturn, but I'm realtively sure anything done on that could have been done better on DC.

who the hell did I bash? I'm just saying to look at it realistically. Would you rather play Mario or Scrapyard Dog? Zelda or Viking Child? Yes the Lynx has some great original games and arcade ports, but nothing near the amount of diverse stuff you get on the GBA SP. If after taking all that into consideration and wiping away the nostalgic glaze you still prefer the Lynx more power to you. I just don't understand why you would. If the poll was the best handheld of "its" time I believe the Lynx would be close to the top contender (for me it would be a toss up between the Turbo Express and the Lynx). But that wasn't the poll.
-
Excuse my omission of two very important letters there, namely "S" and "P".
-
lynx with its 16 colors and its hand ful of games or GBA SP with 32,000 colors and ten times the games to choose from...hmmm. Hard decsision there. For the "ain't I cool, I play stuff you've never heard of crowd" i guess I could see the Lynx, but if i were stuck on an island with a magical AC outlet, I'd have to go with GBA.

To my console glazed eyes, one computer is as good as the other, but being it's the one I'm most familiar with, I went with the Commodore. However, had I known it was so far ahead in the polls before I voted, I would have voted something else, just to be different. As to the other part of this thread, that was the least troll-like trolling I ever saw. Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't make them a troll, and i believe your name calling should warrant an automatic 24 hour ban.

I traded Snatcher for a common crap Saturn title. Store near me had like five used copies for $5 a piece, so i thought it was rather common. I found out like a week later what it was worth, but by the time i went back, they were all gone. Even worse, I had felt like the guy trading me was getting the short end of the stick, so i threw in an extra game for the hell of it. Two weeks later he had both items on eBay. oh well. Those who don't know any better deserve to rip themselves off I guess.

there's a guy at the flea I go to who exemplifies this. The first time I saw his stuff I wanted to cry. He had so many boxed SNES and Genesis games, rare as well as common....totally freakin destroyed. Sun bleached, warped, torn, you name it.

I can understand that line of thinking, but my way of thinking is "here is Resident Evil 4 for PS2. EB/Gamestop sell it for $35. I'm selling it for $25. It is already a very good price. FU if you think I'm going any lower." All my stuff is clearly marked with a price, and 11 times out of 10 it is cheaper already than what anyone else is asking for it. So for someone to come and try to get it even cheaper, to me, is a douche move. My experience has been if person A won't buy it because I won't waste my time haggling, person B will because it's already a fair price. I'll admit I've been tempted in the past to raise prices, just so people can feel better about their skills if I knock a few dollars off, but in the end it just doesn't make sense to me.

What i hate about flea markets is that everyone expects you to lower your price just because you are in a flea market. I don't haggle. I find it to be a waste of time and an insult to the general population. If you think my prices are out of line, don't buy anything. Also, don't expect me to sell you a Panzer Dragoon Saga for $5 just because you had a friend once whose sister's boyfriend's little brother found a copy for $10 eight years ago, and now it's all old and stuff.
