I just came across a box of carts I bought from a garage sale ... There are a few rare carts.. One of them is Space Master X-7 .. I bought the whole box of UNTESTED fairly dusty games.. There are several 5's and 6's in the mix.. Including Sorcerer and Harbor Escape. Due to several moves I don't even have a system to test them on.. LOL I just couldn't pass up the find..

Toejam and Earl for Sega... anyone remember that game.. It was so rediculously fun... I started thinking about it the other day... some how i have the case and booklet and no game... UURRGHHH... I loved when they would get mowed over by the grocery cart pushing mom and kid.. or the nerds... LOL... the lawn mower guy.. or the dreaded ice cream man... wow, what a fun game... Anyone have an extra copy for sale?? SI

Hello all... wow.. cant believe I havent been on the site in forever... In Nov 2007 I took a job with the Walt Disney Company... (no I dont get to invent games.. but its been a great job so far)... working primarily with Radio Disney.. and I've moved 4 times.. and am moving again next month... (these were not planned.. and has made for some stressful days.. ) Was on line tonight looking for a copy of SEGA TOEJAM and EARL I ... anyone have a copy for sale??? and then I started looking at some atari 2600 carts that I'd love to add to my collection... and then .. well.. here am... Yeah I have a few games for systems I dont own... Usually when I buy a bulk lot and there are a couple mixed in. I only sell games I personally test.. so without the system, I dont sell them. I do however usually get the system, and then sell that too... It's a great way to earn extra dough to buy my own toys and add to my personal collection. I know off the top of my head I have Texas Instruments "Hunt The Wumpus"

Okay so I'm finally writing this from a week ago.. But I took a day off.. I got an email from our HR person, and she said, you have 11 days to use by Jan 1.. or they are gone... HEY dont need to tell this girl twice... So.. off I go on vacation.. I call my buds down in South Florida.. we have no real plans.. but several of us were going to meet up sometime over the weekend... well.. that never happened... I did have a wonderful time, visited one friend.. but mostly just hung out by myself.. . It was a beautiful weekend... I stayed right on the beach.. it happened to be Jewish New Year so all the hotels were packed.. and everyone was dressed up.. and energy was in the air.. it was great.. I had a fantastic condo on the ocean, with a heated waterfall...that ran into a jacuzzi... and a huge pool... had a fantastic time.. doing nothing but swimming.. and wishing I could live on vacation forever... it made me realize how much i miss south Florida... I came back to Jacksonville at 5:30 in the morning on Tuesday.. and had to be at work by 8:30...LOL.. so I was really tired, but somehow recharged... I had a great week.. wrote a ton of new customers orders up.. and my boss was thrilled.. He said if this is what time off does for me.. great... Go more often.. LOL... well 10 more days to use... One thing that all that alone time did for me was help me refocus on me... on some goals.. and help me to prioritise some projects I have had simmering... I think the word for the next few weeks/ months will be "purge"... Being on vacation was a break from clutter of the day to day "real" life.. .and it was very freeing... I need more time for me.. (more time to play games ) and "stuff" is a time stealer... so I guess I'll be purging closets and the garage in the near future.. hey you never know what stuff you'll find while cleaning.. what treasures are buried within my home??? Well I'm off to clean out a closet... oh that can wait, ..... I've got vacations to plan... Take care all, SI

My youngest daughter (14 this week) just told me "mom, the 80's are making a come back"... She was so serious about it.. I had to laugh.. and then I told her "The 80's never died"... She just laughed at me... yeah right mom... and then said, "I can't wait to wear those clothes and hair styles"... "the 80s are cool"... wow, we're cool... or at least we'd still like to believe it.. Still your right.. those were great times, anytime I hear "Hot Blooded" or a song by Loverboy, I'm transported back to simpler times... but hey, word on the street.. the 80s are making a come back.. LOL...

Jack is a format that works in some markets.. and totally flops in others.. .no DJs and Voice tracking are the wave of the future... sadly, great DJs used to be the backbone of a station, now it's just another expense to be cut.. Clear Channel has gone to 30 seconds (instead of 60) for their standard commercials.. There sales people are paid higher commisions on shorter commercials.. they sell 15's & 10's.... Next year they are rumoured to be going to 2 second commercials... WHAT???? I think it's max head room all over again... LOL... Anyway.. NO NEWS on our format yet... Our team was brought into a meeting and told .... Stop talking about what might or might not happen... if anyone asks.. we are still the same and working to make it better.. PERIOD... So, thats what I'm doing... I've actually had some good sales and things are starting to pick up... I've been at my job 6 months and I'm starting to build customer relationships, it's a process... I'll keep updating as I know whats going on.. SI

80's went out of style???? what?? no way! LOL I better go buy some new clothes... lol... jk... I love the 80's but yes all good things have to come to an end.... even when you wish it would stay "same as it ever was... same as it ever was... same as it ever was... " LOL SI

When I was a kid, I loved Qbert, but sucked at that game... Not only that but, no matter how good I got on COMBAT or SLOT RACERS... my brother kicked my butt every game.. (I love watching my daughters now destroy him on Mortal Combat.. Pay back, revenge... beaten by girls.. LOL) I never did get Kaboom....
