Yea, this is truly depressing, and this is when you realize that life is really short and many things have been forgotten already. There are so many people of my generation(im 19 btw) that have never even seen an Atari or an Intellivision, but I have a plan for my children... you see, im going to start them out on Pong before they can walk, and work my way up through the systems. One day i will say to my child,"Did you play your video games today?" "but i was doing my homework." " WHAT!?! Video games come first! you can do your homework on the weekend, Now i want those 8 master robots beat before bedtime!" ....lol. True gamers will live forever through their children and through their children's children.

gameboy players are awesome...they look great on a tv....even though everyone has already said that.....im pretty sure they are still selling them...i bout mine at walmart about 2 months ago.definetly buy one

No need for a study. It's 42. As for this study, it's not a question of whether violent video games influence kids. What determines that is simply this: do the parents care what their kids are doing? Or not? Pure and simple. i got 59....course i do have a tongue ring....i will take it out and try again.

XG1 and 2 are awesome....i played it when it first came out and i got hooked on it....although i didnt know that there was a third one.....TIME TO GO TO THE GAME STORES!!!

one of them is broken....then i noticed that the buttons on the chip on one 2 are competely flat.....course i would think that would make it always want to go in that direction.....but thank you i think i will go buy the kit

k i just got my atari hooked up for the first time in a while and retested all the games that i have. well the first game i put in was pacman.....the joystick would not go left at all and alot of the time was fairly unresponsive. i tried 3 different joysticks....most did the same thing just better or worse but none worked correctly and i tried it on 2 2600 and the same thing.....sooo.....what could i do, if anything to make these controllers work better?

i have Jasc but thats a pain to use with this damn optical mouse. i use paint as more of a basic drawing program but i can do some extremely detailed drawings on there that would take you hours to do on jasc....either way i am waiting for bryce 5.5 to come in....and then i can do some actual art work

yea we gamer chics are hard to come by....you could always get a job at a game store and when you see a girls eyes light up when she sees swordquest waterworld, shes the one you want to talk to ....if they go for the playstation games or xbox first and doesnt even LOOK at the Nes....theyre no good

store down here sells his Gens for either 20.00 - 25.00 i think he will only give you like 5 for it

yea i would do the history part and have them build their own games. and taking consoles apart ae always fun to do but i would warn themn that they can seriously screw up a console if they dont know what they are doing ...you know the whole parental supervision part....that would be an interesting class though. It would be great if you could bring in all the consoles like pong, and wonder swan and stuff....just all the american games and japaneese consoles cause im sure alot of them think there was only atari nintendo and ps, xbox. i had to teach my little brother that the n64 was not the first game console. oh that was fun. but hey you got a great idea with this class thing

this one is the better one of mine....i dont have alot of time on my hands so its not that great but i did it all in windows paint until i had to get to the color effects....but hey it works. and the back ground is close to what you see on acid...course you dont realize thats what you see ....but what you want to see is Mausboys entry....thats what you want to see when Lsd is in control. and if any one here actually trips go get this video called infinities child its all CG eyecandy and the colors and designs are beautiful....

okie dokie, we went to a game store here not to long ago and the guy that owns it loves showing games that he has never seen before and what not to us to see if we know anything about them. well when we went in there he handed us 2 small tan cartridges, i dont remember what the games were, but i looked on the back for copy right date and seen texas instruments. he said he couldnt find it on ebay so he automatically assumes it rare and worth alot....that what he does with many 5200 games cause he has never seen a 5200, so i went home and searched wikipedia and ebay and found a t199/4a. ok i know this isnt a mainstream console of any sort but any one have info on this console itself ... wikipedia wont load for me right now. i really just want a brief overview from someone that owns one or has in the past....i have had many things like this that i got for chrisdtmas or something and didnt pay a damn bit of attention to. well any info will help and i will relay it back to the store owner thanks
