  1. I think the highest price someone was willing to pay for this cart was 15k which was last year on buyatari's copy. This is a complete scam. The seller hasn't responded to any questions whatsoever as far as I know. I call bull crap .....and then I make the seller eat it.
  2. The box that I showed is the one that most sealed collectors use. The come flattened in a box and then you pop it up. They are not really that flimsy. Of course, that depends on where you buy them from
  3. Look at the following link from nintendoage.com. A bunch of collectors are getting together and buying a huge bulk of these custom made to fit CIB NES games. Obviously the more you buy the cheaper they are for everyone. Perhaps someone could arrange something like this here for atari collectors. Here's the link to the thread: http://www.nintendoage.com/forum/messagevi...p;enterthread=y The protectors look like these:
  4. More than likely a mistake. Same thing just happened to a collector over at nesforums.com. The seller (who is a power seller) sent him the wrong game that someone else had bought. The other buyer received the game the collector bought. I don't know exactly what happened in the end but I think the two buyers just simply traded for what they paid for. I think your case is just an honest mistake. Have you tried contacting him about it?
  5. I live but 3 hours from you. However, your sale date happens to land on my mom's wedding date (21st) and I'll be busy on the 20th. What do you have? I'd be interested......very highly interested to see some pics
  6. Nintendoage.com is an excellent site if you are selling anything NES. Most of the hardcore collectors for this system meet there. There are other NES sites where you can sell but more than likely all your big $$$ spenders are over at nintendoage
  7. Yeah, it doesn't show up very often at all. Hopefully you can make a few bucks off of it. Only thing is this is an unlicensed game and some collectors out there only collect licensed meaning that some unlicensed games even though they are hard to find go for cheap. Tagin Dragon is a good example. Hard as heck to find but you can usually pick up a complete copy for $35. Should be more like $60 since it rarely ever shows up. Here's some info on the game if you want to check it out: http://www.nintendoage.com/index.cfm?FuseA...mp;Game_ID=1296
  8. Not to burst your bubble but this is the most commone pirate game available for the famicom or NES. I would consider it somewhat rare (like an R5) as pirates are hard to find especially in the wild but it's the easiest out of them all to collect. Did you buy this back in the 80's or just in your area? Would be interesting to know they came from Canada and not overseas.
  9. He's a pretty well known NES seller. I've bought alot of stuff off him and would recommend most of his sales. Some of his items are overpriced but there are others that are really good deals. He sold a CIB Chubby Cherub about a year ago for $75. That game CIB is worth roughly $300-$400. The manual is a little overpriced but fairly hard to find nonetheless. This seller also lives about 1 1/2 - 2 hours away from me. I don't know this seller but since you mentioned the manual for the game: LINK That may be too much for only the manual but if someone out there already has the box and cart, it wouldn't be too bad. Like I said though, I'm just providing the link to the manual since you mentioned, I don't know or endorse the seller.
  10. Those are really cool. She makes these?
  11. Too bad it's not complete. The box for this game is fairly hard to find as is the manual. The cart is an R7 (rare) and the box and manual are both R8s (very rare). I knew I should have bought that sealed copy that popped up on ebay! :bangsheadonwall:
  12. Interesting topic. Well, you can all rest assured that it's not a scam or anything like that. Like I said, dreamTR can attest for me as can many other collectors that collect NES. I know I've never done business with anyone on this site (save dreamtr and tradengames) so it is probably hard for you guys to believe me. Hopefully my pics will put aside the doubt in everyones minds though I've been doing some research on this stuff and alot of it looks to be very rare. Mostly R9s and 8s. Which floors me since I do know that atari stuff is so hard to find. Too bad it wasn't all NES stuff because then I'd have myself a HUGE hayday! Lol Anyways, what's the value of some of these things separate and not with the lot??? I'm very curious now Sorry couldnt help but laugh. No offence hounder. Mcgrail, i thought the same thing-- I must be missing out on something here.....I take it it's not good though! Lol Wonder: Once I have it all in my possession and can get pics, I will make a thread for people to pick and choose what they want. Some stuff isn't being sold while others are Hey Hounder, the following link should answer some of your questions...... http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=105207

  14. Well, from reading different threads for quite some time today and doing some research, I would have to say that Air Raid is rarer. However, rarity doesn't mean anything when it comes to value. I could give you some NES examples but that would probably bore you atari fans. Lol I think a complete AII would be pretty neat to own though over a cart only Air Raid (as I understand that's all it is). But then again, I'm a CIB fanatic
