I really would have thought the high score enabled FujiNet games would have had a larger impact on the High Score Club here on AtariAge, but it seems to have gone completely unnoticed, or ignored...

Every few years when I go on a Dreamcast kick, I always wonder why I play anything that's not Dreamcast.

Give me one of your best 'one liners' to be used for a Jag game before preparing for battle, losing and winning....

If a game company were to just make fun games with long play times, multiple endings, good replay values, and addictive multiplayer environments, but and I cannot stress this enough, not make you need a new video card every year, do you think they would make more or less money?

Realize I'm a little late to the FujiNet game but considering we're talking about using A8 devices in 2023 anyways, would have expected a minimal turnout for on-line gameplay. Ghost town...

@bent_pinyeah I’ve created a thread and followed up two weeks in a row. Net result: Zero. I suppose maybe a monthly planned date well in advance might work. I’ll give that a shot.

I just bought an ultrasound printer. Surely this is (ab)normal behavior but there are reasons and it's most definitely not for ultrasounds. Though I suppose I could setup shop for that too now lol.

@Draxxon It's to print faux B&W Polaroid pictures incredibly cheap using QuickTake cameras and other analog devices like this: (idea credit goes to LambdaCalculus7) comes out to like 5 cents a print and overall just something goofy to fool around with...

Some kid who goes to the same hagwon that I go to was tested positive for COVID. School immediately made me go home and I’m required to have a swab stabbed up my nostril again. Good thing I’m vaccinated I guess, although I probably won’t be allowed to go to school until I’m confirmed negative.

one day, nintendo is going to piss off a bigger fish and then they'll be in trouble. their constant lawsuits are the reason all the talented modders and artists are working for Valve and Sony.
Sure, you can work for Nintendo but why? They support creative freedom but damn all if you try to go it alone with their software. Information should be free and they are making Tandy's mistake all over again.
The TI-994/a failed because Tandy refused to share anything and insisted on being the sole maker. Nintendo is going to fail if they don't stop suing people and sites they have no business going after.
I'll work for sega before i work for Nintendo

Was having breakfast this AM, looked at my eggs, and got the inspiration for a totally new, never before thought of video game character.

Crazy to see external CD-R prices of 1996 being $1,295 and realizing the media is officially considered extinct amongst the clould-streaming world.

Reading programmer's source code notes can be very telling of who they are and also entertaining. Example:
Someone: see if level should change
Jeff Minter: this connects the x and y naughty points (and) all source files named after animals lol

I grew up on the NES, Genesis and Windows 98. I played Tomb raider III, Bugs Bunny Double Trouble and Bible Adventures, So believe me when i tell you that I KNOW THE MEANING OF PAIN!
The opposite of pain is Space quest and Sam and Max hit the road. that's just mental torture, that's fine

@digdugnatge agreed, using the older stuff (especially during a time when $4,000 multimedia computers were just starting to come out) really makes you appreciate it all so much more when you actually get to it. I'll never forget talking to my 'girlfriend' over the home landline phone (I was a kid at the time mind you lol) and hearing the Super Mario Bros music in the background. Admittingly I was a little jealous but she graciously described how beautiful the game was while allowing me to listen to the music through the phone lol 'Oh, you don't know about the under water level?!' ?

I'd love for Sega to re-release the Sega CD as an all in one unit that combines the 32X, CD and main genesis on an ARM64 chipset. Everything else, sound and graphics untouched. Maybe give the option to enhance but leave it otherwise. Games are on SSD and usb.

@Curious Sofa I owned a Jaguar when they were talking about releasing the Neptune but I would have bought one had Sega released it. Mind you, I never owned a Genesis before that either. Though I did want one for Sonic years prior and a Game Gear was my alternate wish list item if I hadn't gotten the Jag.
