  1. As a disclaimer I should say upfront that I won't be in a position to purchase the chips/games until February 1st, but I did want to get the word out in advance in case someone wouldn't mind setting them aside for me. I'm planning on picking up two Atari 7800 homebrew games next month but both will require that I supply the POKEY chips needed for them, so if anyone happens to have a couple spare POKEY chips or Ballblazer carts with cruddy condition labels that they wouldn't mind parting with I could sure use them. I'm not sure exactly what the chips or rough condition Ballblazer carts go for price wise, so I'm open to negotiation on the price. PayPal payment is preferred but I can send a money order through the mail if the seller isn't keen on PayPal. Thanks much and just shoot me a PM if you happen to have what I'm looking for and wouldn't mind setting it aside for me until February.
  2. I just lost an eBay auction I had my eye on for a NIB copy of Rampage for the 7800. final price...drumroll...$204.49 + shipping. Seriously? A quick check reveals that there were two other NIB copies sold this calendar year, one on 2/27/17 for $97 and the other on 3/29/17 for $100. Has the value really increased that much since March, or did someone REALLY want a NIB copy? Unreal... Guess I'll have to make due with the slightly worn box of my CIB copy that I got for $50 last month...
  3. Roof Pooper for the Atari 7800 is available for $20 plus shipping. You may read about it here. If you'd like a copy, please PM me with your address. Keep in mind this game is NTSC.
  4. I apologize for a great many things in advance of this post, but thank you for reading it if you do anyway. Many many moons ago I bought a Cuttle Cart II when they were being produced and there was a topic thread in the 7800 subsection of the AtariAge forums. It was pretty much everything I had ever dreamed of - a multicart for my 7800 so I could leave one cart in my console most of the time (because as we all know 7800 carts are a TIGHT FIT and wear out your hands and arms going in and out). The cart worked great for me for a long time, until one day while yanking it out of the cartridge slot to test a new cart I had just got, I slammed my hand and the cart into it into the wooden shelves of my setup for the system. OUCH. The MMC card reader at the top got dislodged and the card disappeared inside of the shell along with whatever held it in place. Now if this sounds like deja vu here's where I must apologize, because I asked about this before and somebody sent me the part I would need to repair it. Unfortunately I was a nervous nelly after all the money I spent getting the Cuttle Cart II and didn't want to crack open the shell and possibly make things worse. On top of that I had a very long bout of depression that went untreated, so I spent at least half a decade or more barely visiting the AA forums and seldom if ever posting. Things have greatly improved for me over the last two years thanks to therapy and medication, but despite many times cleaning up and reshuffling the deck for all the consoles and games I've collected (including a massive overhaul in the last week alone) I've never found the part I was sent by a kind user in these forums, and I can't even remember who that was/is. I do still have the Cuttle Cart II though, and I know my MMC is still rattling around inside it. So here's my stupid question... Could anybody fix this for me?
  5. A complete in box Atari 7800 console. I opened up the flaps and it's still in the original factory bags.
  6. I've got some CIB games, CIB homebrews and sealed games on eBay if anyone is interested. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=&_in_kw=1&_ex_kw=&_sacat=0&_udlo=&_udhi=&_ftrt=901&_ftrv=1&_sabdlo=&_sabdhi=&_samilow=&_samihi=&_sadis=15&_stpos=98020-4507&_sargn=-1%26saslc%3D1&_salic=1&_fss=1&_fsradio=%26LH_SpecificSeller%3D1&_saslop=1&_sasl=danagret&_sop=1&_dmd=1&_ipg=100 Colecovision CIB homebrews: Ninja Princess Pooyan Remember the Flag Roller Ball Sudoku Traffic Jam Zombie Incident Intellivision CIB games and repro boxes: Game Factory Hotel Bunny Triple Challenge Truckin' Worm Whomper Ms. Pac-Man box Rocky Battles the Champ box Action Force (GI Joe) box Strawberry Shortcake box Deadly Dogs box Atari 2600 sealed games and CIB homebrews Crack'ed Crazy Balloon BMX Air Master (sealed) Bump 'n' Jump (sealed) Burgertime (sealed) Froggo games (sealed) Atari 7800 sealed games Ace of Aces Fight Night Food Fight Mat Mania Challenge Super Huey UH-IX Tower Toppler Winter Games Astrocade sealed games Amazing Maze/Tic-Tac-Toe Bally Pin Dog Patch End this weekend - thanks for looking and PM or eBay message with questions! 7. Just came across this eBay listing and thought I would share. I already have this game CIB, but for those seeking it out, this is the best price I have seen for it in quite some time. It often goes for $100 CIB. This is only $50 OBO! https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F223019397235
  8. AFAIK neither of these two emulators have been updated recently. WHY? Prosystem I might be able to understand but SIMcoupe!? Why isn't there any active work on a win64 verision of the latter? It would also be great to see at least some VCS/2600 compatibility on Prosystem emulator along with allowing USB lightguns to be supported.
  9. Many ColecoVision and Intellivision homebrews to trade for or cash paid via PayPal.
  10. I'm looking for a working and in fairly good shape Atari 7800. I need the hookups to come with it and one functioning controller. One or two games would be nice that are specific for the system, in particular Asteroids and Pac Man. However, these aren't necessary for the buy or trade. I'm hoping to add to my Atari collection and have an alternative to play my 2600 games on. My other game systems listed below are not being used and I would be more than willing to trade for an Atari 7800 system. Right now I'm inquiring ONLY to see how much someone would charge not including shipping. Not a guaranteed sale, but I'm simply putting out feelers. If someone is interested in trading, I do have some items to trade for it. Intellivision model 1 unit with some loose and boxed games. Power switch is missing but permanently "on" at this point. First joypad has a small stick attached. System comes with all hookup and works upon last power up a month ago. Currently stored in a box with all the games and accessories. Will provide picture on request. Gamecube purple system, no games, a/v cables missing, one controller and power supply. Tested about 6 months ago and works. No memory cards with the unit. Picture upon request. Please PM me if you'd like to trade or have an Atari 7800 for sale. I would *prefer* trades if possible, you be responsible for your shipping costs, I will take care of mine on my end. No paypal, please. Open to negotiation and other items if you have something different, but I'm primarily looking for Atari. Many thanks for looking at this. Steve
  11. I'm new here! Well, not entirely. I actually lurked a bit before posting, but here I am requesting help from one of the biggest pools of knowledge on Atari anything! I just got in this 7800 from an Ebay ad that I was very disappointed with in general. That's another story though. WAY too many problems with the shipment, description, condition, communication, etc. One of two Ebay problems I've had total. Good record, I'd say! The 7800 is in cosmetically good shape. It runs smoothly (full color) for 7800 games with my RCA to RF adapter, but can only display 2600 games in black and white with hints of yellow. I tried the pause button, but nothing happened. After a bit of Google sleuthing, I came up with this page: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/88442-25-atari-7800-showing-colour-2600-mode-please How he fixed it made my heart sink a bit. My soldering skills are less than favorable, plus I don't currently have the tools for this kind of fix. I've opened up a 4 Switch Atari VCS and cleaned it with great success. Brought it back from the dead, more or less. Do you guys think I can fix this myself? Or, is there anyone out there who knows how to fix it and would be willing to help? Thanks in advance! Hope to hear some good news about this 7800's backwards compatibility.
  12. Up for sale are four (4) flash / multi carts for systems I no longer have. I used them briefly when I bought them only to test them and see their capabilities. I fashioned some old VHS cases to house each cartridge and custom-made the insert from online documentation. The memory cards shown in the photos are included and can be formatted clean at buyer's request. I ship internaltionally out of Canada (C1A1K7) so if you're wondering what shipping costs will be, simply visit CanadaPost.ca and find out. Each cartridge/package measures 13cm x 21cm x 3cm x 0.25kg I accept PayPal only. Here are the flash/multi carts for sale ...
