  1. Not every game controller is created equal. Some are creepy and weird, while others are specialized to a particular game or genre. Others... are just bizarre like Drunken Master Paul's brilliant mind. In this video we show the unusual game controllers in the Metal Jesus game collection! What are some of the more unusual controllers in your collection?
  2. Games I've added to my collection over the last couple months. Many great old PC & Windows games as well as Xbox, PS2, Neo Geo Pocket Color, PSP, Amiga, C64 and much more! Anybody else collect big box PC games?
  3. Does anybody else here collect IndieBox? For those that don't know, they publish custom made boxed versions that are packed full of little goodies like color manuals, soundtracks, stickers, physical versions of the game, plushies, action figures and more. Every game is also 70% or higher on Metacritic and runs on Windows, OS X & Linux. Pretty impressive stuff! This is my list of their Top 10 releases. * This was not a paid sponsored video and the opinions are my own, if curious.
  4. Video diary (VLOG) of three days in Oregon at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo Oct 19th-21st 2018, including footage from the AtariAge booth. Anybody know when Aardvark 2600 goes on sale?! That was fun as hell!
  5. The Sony PS3 was home to great High Definition Remasters based on classic PS2 franchises. Here are some of my favorites from the game collection along with what is new and special about each. 6. Does SHELF APPEAL factor into any of your game purchases, or do you stick to only games you plan on playing? Example: say you stumble across a bunch of mediocre or outright awful NES/cartridge games that you don't have in your collection, but they're priced dirt cheap. Do you buy 'em up, thinking that expanding your NES collection would look that much more awesome on display? Fellow AA member SWLOVINIST joins me on this one! And yes, that is my complete copy of Shaq-Fu
  7. http://youtu.be/5zBgpxo1iFU A highlights video of some retro gaming magazines in my collection. Vintage arcade games, rare Nintendo articles, ads for games lost forgotten and much more.
  8. A look at some of the more RARE and EXPENSIVE big box PC games. There are games in here you rarely see out in the wild anymore. Big shoutout to local Seattle collector Kevin Ng for letting me borrow a bunch of these for the video. Anybody here on AtariAge collect Big Box PC stuff (C64, Amiga, Atari St, MS-DOS)...and what are some of your more rare or valuable games?
  9. Connect your old Xbox to the HDMI port on your television without the use of any adapters or power supplies, just plug and play. Important to know that it doesn't upscale, but simply converts the component signal to HDMI. I test it with a bunch of games including some that run at 480P, 480i, 720P and 1080i. This is my review with gameplay footage.
  10. The Nintendo GBA is mostly known for amazing 2D graphics, similar to the SNES...however a handful of brave developers attempted to bring 3D graphics to the handheld. How successful were they?
