  1. I have a spare PS3 controller I like to use with Ouya and Retro Freak. I got a Pink PS3 controller specifically for this purpose (the two black ones I normally use with the PS3). One issue I noted with my Retro Freak tonight is I have my PS3 controller plugged in via USB, but after using the controller, it always wakes my PS3 when I disconnect it or turn off the Retro Freak. It's super annoying. My PS3 turned on four times tonight. It'sstupid and I do not want my PS3 to turn on when I'm not using it. Is there a way to permanently unsync my controller from the PS3 so that it will not turn on if I hit the HOME button? Thanks.

  7. Hey Guys, I have just started a new Game Shop in Sydney called Nerdlandia Games (named after my youtube show). The motto here is to sell Retro games at the right prices. 10. SOLD Playstation 3 - 320GB - Move Sports Champions Bundle - Mint in box I'm the original owner and have only played it a handful of times. This system has not been modified, dismantled, or otherwise compromised. Everything is in MINT condition. The first picture is coming out looking like it has a brown surface or something. It must be the futon mattress that I shot it on. It's brown in tint...hmmm...When I look at it in a lighter colored room, it comes out clear as a nicely taken care of videogame accessory. There are no scratches on it. It has a very light one on the button deck of a system. They are glossy on the eject and power controls and are easy to scratch. Mine has a very, VERY light surface scratch. I guarantee it. I've got a good track record here for selling and buying. My username is atari_man on eBay. eBay is a hard place to get a price value by reviewing all the green labeled sold. I look for which one went for the least amount and was close to what I have in terms of games and accesories. I take what I have compare it to the cheapest auctions that contain the same items and games. Well, aside from that. I think this system is going to make someone really enthused and it would be like opening up a brand new one and playing it as if it were only open by you. I took really great care of this and I hope it goes to a good home. The system lot includes these items: PS3 System (Slim model 2) Power cord (plastic baggy) Composite A/V cables (sealed) Controller (plastic baggy) USB charging Cable (plastic baggy) Move Controller with lanyard (never packaged in plastic) Eye Camera (plastic baggy included, but not in picture) Instructions and manuals (sealed) Move Demo Disc Volume 2 (sealed) All original packaging (baggies, twisty ties, inserts, and boxes) The following games are included: Super Street Fighter IV X-men origins Wolverine Castlevania Lords of Shadow Ninja Gaiden Sigma Heavenly Sword Sports Champions (pack-in game) DuckTales Remastered (purchased from the Playstation Store.) $215 shipped to anywhere in the USA. SOLD
  11. My friend asked me to fix his PS3 Slim. When I plug the power cord into the system the red standby button turns on but as soon as I turn on the power after a second it turns off and won't turn back on again. Even the red standby button turns off. I'm assuming that the power supply within the system has died? Not sure if this is a common issue with these units. Looking at other places online it seems it could be either A) Bad power supply B)Hardware failure or C) Hard Drive....I'm pretty sure its the power supply not being able to hold a charge. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! -Mark

  17. Hey all! I'm clearing out years of stockpiled E3 swag, promotional items, one offs and various weirdness! The link below goes to my eBay page. I've been trying to sell on there for a few weeks and some of the bigger named items have gone, but I think your average eBay user knows very little about gaming, especially gaming memorabilia. I want this stuff to go to people that'll appreciate it! I know some of the people buying have just been resellers and that's lame. Hope you guys can find stuff you're interested in! I'm putting up new stuff every weekend when I have free time, so there's more to come! http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fsch%2Fproducerethan%2Fm.html%3F_nkw%3D%26_armrs%3D1%26_ipg%3D%26_from%3D

  19. Has anyone else picked up this game yet. I have to admit that I have this sort of love/hate relationship with JRPGs, The old ones tended to force one into grinding way too much for me to have patiance with them. The new ones now seem to pale in comparison to the more open worlded American RPGs. Enter Ni No Kuni. It's very much an old school jrpg, though perhaps without quite as much grinding. It seems to have a fairly interesting story, with decent voice acting and a fun battle system that is a cross between pocket monsters and your traditional turn based combat system. Anyhow, I was wondering if anyone else has picked it up and if so, what are the impression you have of it?
  20. I sold some old PS3 games so I could buy The Last of Us, but it's come to my attention that they are quite a few special editions for the game. I don't care about that "Downloadable Content" crap because I don't play online. I also have no intentions on buying either of the Joel or Ellie editions because if I bought one I'd end up getting both. Should I sell a few more games and get the Survival Edition? Wait for the Post-Pandemic to drop in price? Or play it safe and just get the Sights & Sounds pack?
