Hello. So I bought these cartridges off of a guy on Ebay, who had bought it from Youtube Channel bgP (Who is the person who recorded the clip below). They are for a Canceled Atari Jaguar Fighting Game called "Thea Realm Fighters". It was a 1v1 Fighter which used digitized actors. Some of the Actors include Mortal Kombat Veterans such as Daniel Pesina (Johnny Cage, Scorpion, Sub Zero etc.) and Ho Sung Zak (Liu Kang). I haven't been able to play them Yet because I don't own a working Jaguar, but I hope to get one and try these out. I have a Test Cartridge, and Alpha Cartridge and a Beta Cartridge. The game was about 95% complete until the project was canceled when Atari ceased supporting the Jaguar. Here are some gameplay clips. Let me know if you have any concerns or comments. I'd also appreciate it if someone could help me with acquiring a working Jaguar with two controllers (Also Kasumi Ninja, Ultra Vortek and Atari Karts). Thanks. P.S. NOT FOR SALE

Still factory sealed, new and complete in the box, Vidco Copy Cart, packed with 'Dishaster.' In the early 2000s, I bought a little dead stock for sale in a used record/head shop. It was boxed common games and a couple third party controllers however, there were also 2 new-in-the-box sealed Vidco Copy Carts! In 2003, I traded one of the Copy Carts to another forum member. I hung on to this one for another 15 years Because it was the cool point of interest in my collection. Almost pushed 'List It' on this as an ebay auction. Thanks for looking and any advice or serious offers you can make. *edit* couple more photos added to show the instructions on the back.

Ladies and gentleman of the retro computing world... this VIC-20 makes absolutely no sense. It seems to be a bit of a Frankenstein's monster, it has the wrong badge and keyboard type for the model number board (1001006 REV 3), it has a PET style keyboard with mustard function keys, with a silver (not rainbow) VIC-20 badge while the serial number sticker is for a VIC-1001. Clearly the keyboard has been replaced at some point, what really confuses me though are two of the chips on the board, they are a dark grey color with a plaque for the chip type and number, but here's the kicker the pins are gold. Could this have anything to do with the serial number, which to date is the lowest I've seen (102640). Here's some pictures for you to mull over, any help or info at all would be appreciated. It was owned by a fairly prominent journalist (I will NOT tell you his name), so it may have been a 'review computer' sent to him by Commodore, but there would likely be something in or on the case/board saying that. Also I have no means of powering it on yet, seeing as I don't have an a/c adapter that fit's nor do I have the proper video cables. Help, please

Hi guys i'm a collector situated in Ontario, Canada. I really collect just for myself hence why I haven't posted my finds online before. I've had tons of amazing/unbelievable finds over the 5 years I've been collecting such as finding 2 copies of little Samson in the wild as well as a ton of other games for a few dollars or practically free by flipping. My whole collection is solely found in the wild either from yard sales/thrift stores in Canada and the United states or trading with other collectors. Some of my heavy hitter finds (not my rarest owned games) are 2 copies of little samson, CIB Sea monster Puzzy, CIB Space Tunnel Puzzy, boxed virtual boy, boxed turbo duo, boxed turbo express, sealed black box first release NES games and much, much more to list. I can officially say I'm one of the better collectors out there with owning every system and edition and most in the boxes, complete turbografx library, complete Nintendo 64 library, almost finished complete NES library and own near 3000+ games in mint condition and a lot sealed. I even own prototypes and other rare games/systems that are impossible to find. I literally spent everyday of my life for the past 5 years hunting for these games so I think I can brag a bit now haha. Most of the fun from collecting for me is from finding this stuff in the wild and the rush of finding it. The reason why I started collecting really was to be able to challenge myself and be able to do things the hard way and feel good about it and of course my passion for video games. Fortunately where I live and the time I started collecting, things were in my favor as many people would bulk sell these old games to me such as closed rental stores putting garage sales (where I got most of my games) or just people getting rid of their old games for cheap. After the release of the mini classic systems and the hype of "retro games" and countless retro stores that opened up in the area around 2016, sadly it's been extremely difficult to collect to the point where i've seen many long time collectors liquidating and bulk selling their collection because it's just too hard and expensive to collect and finish sets. That's where I come in and explain the story of my "once a lifetime find". About 2 weeks ago roaming around on a Saturday not expecting to find much as usual, I stumbled across a house which with was hosting a yard sale about 1 hour away from where I live. They had a few old electronics, tube tv's, old tin cans and stuff like that but nothing that caught my eye. Upon looking closer, I noticed beside the tube tv's there was a Vectrex and Atari 2600 in a box with about 40 games. I got very excited but Nintendo is really my priority and field of expertise, although Atari always has a warm spot in my heart. They asked $100 for everything and without hesitation I purchased it and went home. Browsing through the stuff at home, I tested everything and it was all working and in good condition. The atari had about 30 games and the vectrex had about 10. One weird game I noticed in the plastic container labeled "vectrex" was a small blue shaped cartridge. It looked very weird and I assumed it was for vectrex but it reminded me a lot of atari. I checked on gamevaluenow and I saw a price of "$50" for a loose copy. It was weird because it was the only copy sold and I thought hey id sell it or throw it in a bundle with the Atari system to get my $100 back and keep what I wanted. I followed my gut feeling and one last time I checked gamevalue now and it showed "reproduction" that was sold for $50. So I googled the game "Extra terrestrials" and that's when I was in shock. I also checked racketboy's rarest Atari 2600 games and when I saw it listed as the top 5 rarest atari games in the world I was dumbfounded. I had found possibly the rarest Atari 2600 game ever made or even the rarest video game in the world. The back story of this game (Syd Bolton had explained a lot about this) is that a company in Burlington Ontario that made only about 100 copies during the video game crash of 1983 and was supposed to release it for Christmas of that year. Because of the delays the producer had to release it after Christmas and had no supplier to sell them so he had manually knock door to door and sold a handful of copies at most to make back some of his funds. Syd Bolton, one of the greatest collectors in the world, contacted the game producer a few years back and he confirmed he made no more than 100 copies and was able to only manually sell a few of these. Today in the world there are only 5 confirmed copies (1 to the musuem, 1 syd bolton, 1 original producer, 1 random person not interested to sell and 1 me). Sadly syd bolton passed away and his copy was technically part of the museum so now the museum owns two of them. Really the only COLLECTOR that owns this game is me as of now. The game is tested and working, in relatively good condition and is 100% original. It was found in Ontario close to the place of production, purchased from an old retired couple, has dust both inside and outside the game, works with an original Atari 2600, color of the rom board matches the copy the musuem has (yellow) and I'll also contact the Personal Computer Musuem in Bradford to provide me a certificate of authentication. As explained before Nintendo is primarily my focus point and I believe someone out there will appreciate this game much more than me and possibly even become the first person in the world to finish the Atari 2600 collection. This game is possibly even rarer than Red Sea Crossing, Gamma attack and Birthday Mania due to it's confirmation of authenticity by the producer and how many copies were sold, and the unorthodox way that they were distributed (manually door to door only in a small remote location in Ontario). I am only open to serious offers that are above my expectation and I can't resist so throw your top dollars. This game isn't for everyone and anyone and only the best of the best collectors that want to own the rarest game in the world should contact me. Otherwise I reserve my right to keep this game if not satisfied with offers and will continue to be the only collector to have this game which in itself is a great honor.

So I just found this Grand Prix blue label. It looked odd to me but I couldn't put my finger on why, then it hit me, its on wrong! I bought it, and now can't help but wonder how rare/uncommon this is. I'm also curious how hard it would be to remove a label from an Atari cartridge, as I've never attempted it before.

I was pointed in the direction of this forum by some good folks over on Reddit. I have come into the possession of what seems to be a PAL release of Star Strike by Telegames. I have not been able to get much information about it, other than a few mentions, and its appearance in a few databases. http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-2600-vcs-star-strike_7809.html and http://www.completeroms.com/dl/atari-2600/star-strike-telegames-pal-/1760 I've been provided with a little more information about Telegames and how they came to license the game, but putting a value on it has proven very difficult. There are no eBay listings that I have been able to find, let alone a finished auction. I am aware this game -even though, perhaps rare - might not necessarily be that valuable. A buddy of mine has had this Keystone Kapers with an upside down label for a while now and didn't know what to do with it. So i'm putting some photo's up here to see if anybody would be interested in it. I don't know if this is a unique error or if it's anything to really get excited over, but it's cool and weird.

Seems like a bad time to sell a Wii U really, better off in 5-10 years when it's like a Sega Saturn or a Dreamcast and really is a bit more rare.

I have recently acquired an atari 2600 in box for 20 dollars.the box says "PROMOTIONAL USE ONLY NOT FOR RESALE" on the front and sides. I've also noticed that on the bottom of the system it says "promotional use only not for resale". And the switches seem to be less shiny than the regular 4 switch model. Does anybody know how many units were made of this, and how people still have these models to sell and keep?

I came across a pretty amazing 2600 haul a few weeks ago that I couldn't pass up even though my collecting leans more toward the NES era. Some of this stuff is so rare that I wanted to give my fellow collectors a shot at it instead of just throwing it up on Ebay. Obviously I don't have any seller feedback here on AtariAge but I just did a big NES buy on NintendoAge and I've done a lot of trades with feedback on Digitpress.com. PM me with offers Imagic 2600 Retail Demo Kiosk ($Taking offers) https://imgur.com/a/XYVSi Definitely the best piece. These kiosks were used in store (I've heard K-Mart from a few sources but they were probably in other stores as well). They are designed to allow the demo of 24 cartridges for a set period of time which is controlled by a dial on the back. It plugs into the cartridge slot and controller port (to allow multiple types of controllers?) of a standard 2600 console and has built-in software that allows you to select a specific game and does all the switching. They are incredibly rare now. In doing hours of research I could only find about 5 distinct examples of it. Here's everything I know about the condition of it. It works, as you can see in the images. I'm not selling a console with it but it has little removable metal brackets on the bottom that allow you to put in whatever console you'd like. It had a light sixer in it when I bought it. All the damage to it is from previous owners. Rather than try to do any restoring myself, I've decided to leave it alone and let the buyer restore it to whatever level they'd like. The condition is probably fair to good, as I would label it. Here are the flaws: Broken corner on acrylic shield. shield is also fairly scratched up in places dings and chips in the wood frame (1 chunk is pretty large) 'B' button doesn't work (might be cold solder or the switch could be dead, I can't tell) minor corrosion on metal back minor laminate peeling Even with all those issues, it's a seriously cool collector's piece and looks great on the shelf. Newport Prosticks ($50 each) 2 of these things came in the lot with the Imagic kiosk. Took a while to figure out what they were. Looks like it's a very rare joystick that was only available via mail-order directly from the company. As a result, very few were sold. They're very difficult to get info on and even harder to find. The bad news is they don't really work. On one, the joystick works but the inside bracket that holds the button in place is broken so the button can just be pushed into the body. The other one is completely inoperable. Someone who knows more about these old electronics can probably fix them up and have a great collector's item on their hands.

Hi guys. I am a new member here, but I wanted to give the AtariAge members first dibs on this Kiosk before I list it on eBay. I have looked through the forums, and it appears the last Kiosk sold in 2014, but I don't see what price it sold for, and one in 2013 for I am assuming $750. I don't think one has popped up since then. This kiosk does not have the built in brain board. I purchased this from an older couple who got it from a K-Mart in 1986. It has been sitting in their basement ever since, and does show some signs of wear, but nothing major. Most damage as you will see in the photos is along the front control panel laminate. There is some moisture damage on the underside at the base in the rear, but you can't even see it when up against a wall. Also, it appears to be missing two of the bottom shelves, but a piece of MDF would suffice in replacement, it is pretty basic. T-molding all looks pretty decent, plexi has some scuffs but not too bad. Around the control panel there is some staining from what looks like Pepsi or something, but not too bad. I tried to clean it the best I could but with a little extra work I'm sure it could be restored further. The controls work great. In fact, it makes playing 2600 enjoyable lol. The paddles might need a shot of electronics cleaner, but they both still function fairly well. It is currently stationed in my garage, up on pallets. The featured photo shows it all decked out with merchandise (and photoshopped into a nicer looking room rather than a garage, lol) - sorry, games not included. Please click the imgur album link to see more photos. Included is the kiosk itself, the gnarly Sony Trinitron, and the 2600 console. I am in the Springfield/Dayton area in Ohio, and I assume most of you would prefer to pickup so you could see it in person first - but if I can get close to my price I might consider doing a delivery, make a weekend out of it. It would be delivered disassembled of course (assembly is like 12 screws). Does anyone here remember the Casio PV line of computers? They were quite rare given their 1983 introduction, since that year saw both the Nintendo Famicom and Sega SG1000 go on sale there for the first time. Casio also marketed two MSX-based computers under the models PV7 and PV16. Among the video games that were available for it included Namco's Galaga and Dig Dug, Konami's Super Cobra, Amidar and Pooyan, and Universal's Lady Bug and Space Panic. My questions about the PV line are: 1 - what VDP did they have? 2 - what soundchip did they have? I want to think... Texas Instruments SN76489 Thank you, Ben Edge

Apparently some Wii U games are seeing prices spike already. Surprisingly enough Wii U Sports Club is one of them (HD Version of Wii Sports with a few upgrades.) Hello Kitty Kruisers is another, as is Super Luigi Bros U in the green case. Anyone know of anything else creeping up in price and why? I know Devils Third was, but had a re-print and people stopped caring. That game sounded like a cool idea (beat em up) but apperently the execution wasn't good. Too bad... Share your tales of Wii U rarities here. What do you think will be rare soon? The two disc Bayonetta comes to mind...
