SOLD! I got all these DVDs with a large lot of stuff. The three large stacks (with just over 100 movies) all have the correct DVD in them. Condition varies and many of them are previous rentals. The short all has cases with discs other than the ones that belong in them but I'll include them in case there is anything you find interesting. Shipping shouldn't be too much since these can be shipped with media mail.

The DVD format is 23 years old at this point so i guess this can go here..(classic gaming). First let me start by saying i'm not referring to games released on DVD media for existing consoles, but rather games released on DVD that will play on standard DVD movie players. So i was looking up Jack Nicklaus 4 the other day and i noticed it was released on DVD format (as well as Mac, PC, etc.) Ordered a copy off ebay for $5 and excited to check it out. I can only assume you play with your DVD players remote control, and how precise it is depends on the player/remote. Is there a comprehensive list anywhere of games that were released on DVD? I found one that includes Nuon games, but i don't count those because they won't play on ANY DVD player, which is what i'm referring to. So far i know of: -Dragon's Lair I-III -Jack Nicklaus 4 -Mad Dog McCree I, II -Space Ace I'm sure there are probably 5-10 more, if not even more than that. Thanks and let me know what you've found/played and if it was any good. Excited to explore some of these.

I have a Samsung Nuon N501 available in good shape, works perfectly. I don't have remote or controllers just the system. I'm not sure what this is worth,as there's only one system on eBay and it seems terribly overpriced. Any help? Here are some pictures. If anyone is interested they can pm me as well.

Hey all, I recently purchased a Philips VG8020/00 MSX Home Computer. I'm having some trouble getting a decent video signal out of the thing. When I hook it up to my VCR/DVD Combo via the RF out and convert the signal into composite, I get a glitchy screen, jumping from left to right, going from color to black and white. However, the MSX boot up text is present, and when I press keys on the keyboard, they do get added to the screen. I used the automatic tuning options on my VCR/DVD combo, but it sadly does not improve the quality. I also tried connecting a Sega Mega Drive RGB connector to the Monitor out on the computer, but that didn't do anything apart from making some pop noises. I might have to get a different cable to test that out. I also know for sure that my set-up isn't the problem; I've connected other coaxial game-consoles the same way (Atari 2600, Videopac G7000) and they all work. The unit looks fine and all (no mayor external damage). What I did notice though, was some noises inside the machine when I held it sideways; there could be some dirt in there. Also, some buttons get stuck from time to time (especially the directional buttons). I'll open it up and give it a good clean one of these days. Has anyone here experienced similar problems and got them solved? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! I hope the damage (if it has any) is not to severe; would be awesome to get it up and running again! Thanks!

Hey all, This is my first post here on the forums, so hi everybody! I adore classic gaming and I absolutely love my woodgrained six-switcher Atari VCS / 2600 System I bought a while ago. I love it so much in fact that I want to record the game footage off of the console. So I've searched the net and in many video's and topics I came across the word 'VCR' and 'DVD Recorder' so I went watching for one of those things. The thing is though that most of the topics are from overseas (I live in Europe myself, The Netherlands) so some inputs on the backs of the recorders are different. For instance, I don't have to connect a 'F-connector' to connect the output plug of the Atari into the VCR or DVD Recorder. So, in short; I did not find that much info about it in my own region. This is the method I think will work (I'm not into video electronics or anything, so please correct me if I'm wrong - just my intuition speaking here.) DVD/VCR Combo Player (HR-XV28S, Pictures & English Manual attached below). 1. My Atari VCS output plug will be connected to the AERIAL on the DVD/VCR Combo Player. 2. I will then use the RF.OUT to connect it to my ANTENNA IN on my television to see and hear what I'm actually playing. 3. I will then use the DVD/VCR OUT composite signal to connect it to my capture device and hit record on that. So, here are my questions: -Does a VCR/DVD player duplicate the antenna signal to a composite signal? (So that it comes out of RF.OUT and DVD/VCR OUT like I described above, I'm not certain about this.) -if it does, can I use it as a passtrough device (meaning, without recording anything on VHS or DVD-R) and send it directly into my capture device? Or does it need to record on physical media? -If not; does the signal only come out of one of the two outputs? (composite for example; I'm able to split this signal with some cheap AV 1-to-2 Splitters) Is this the correct setup (and way of thinking) for recording an Atari or any other coaxial retro gaming device? I really want to know! I hope you guys can help me with this, I've been struggeling with it for a while now. Thanks! HR-XV28S Manual.pdf

DVD: Once Upon Atari $15.00 + $2.00 shipping eBay Auction -- Item Number: 221147035658 I purchased one of these and it was sealed/new as advertised and it arrived very quickly. This is a good opportunity to pick up this DVD if you missed out on it back when it was originally released. The seller has multiple copies available at this time.

Long story short -- I usually do a DVD sale to help us cover our bills. This year, we need to do some show infrastructure improvements (more Doc Ock power!!), and we've already spent all the proceeds from this year's show! These are all US prices including shipping. Email me if you're international for a quote. This is a 'while supplies last' sale, or until I decide to cut it off. Most of these prices are near wholesale prices, and if you pick 6 or more, some of them will be BELOW wholesale prices... Pick 1 - $16 per item Pick 2 - $14 / item ($28) Pick 3 - $13 / item ($39) Pick 4 - $12 / item ($48) Pick 5 - $11 / item ($55) Pick 6+ - $10 / item Here are the items with short descriptions if necessary: - Tilt: The Battle to Save Pinball double DVD set - Pinball 101 (VERY few left!) - The Pinball Collector (few left) - Star Worlds: Pocket Full of Tokens and I'm Heading to the Arcade Documentary DVD (it's a short film, about 30 minutes, but REALLY well done about this great arcade in DeKalb, IL and even features some footage from the MGC! Oddly, the video quality seems low res, although that may be because I was playing it through my super huge TV. I was surprised by how much I loved it though.) - Once Upon Atari (four 30ish minute documentaries about what it was like to work at Atari during the day. Note - if you get this it may delay your order slightly, as I need to figure out where they went still...) - MGC "Tetris" ringer shirt (these are white with either blue or black rings) - MGC "2600" shirt (Has Midwest Gaming Classic on the front in 2600 cart logo, back looks like a cart with controllers and stuff on it) - MGC "Pinball" shirt (Has Midwest Gaming Classic on front with pop bumpers and flippers, pin layout on the back with "It's more fun to compete at the MGC" on it.) If you're interested, you may add this to your order too: Nintendo DS import - Crystal Mines. Long story short, a few years ago I made some levels for an Atari Lynx game called Crystal Mines II. I found out at this year's MGC that a company from Australia had licensed the Lynx game, updated it and put it out on the Nintendo DS. I LOVE the game, and picked up just a few to stock in my online store (the GOAT Store). It's really hard to get a hold of, and I love it -- I played through the copy I bought myself, and I would guess it was at least 25 hours of great puzzler gameplay! If you'd like to add one of these, I can do it for $40 shipped (usually $40 before shipping). It's VERY hard to get this! For any shirts, please indicate sizing. Because I have some of this stuff both here and in storage, it may take me a little while to complete all orders. (I'll try to get pics of the shirts sooner than later.) Also, anyone who orders, I will include both a free copy of the Dreamcast game Feet of Fury that we produced and was released at our 2003 show, as well as a free Twin Galaxies Midwest Gaming Classic trading card while supplies last! PayPal is easiest, although I'd love to get checks or money orders too, and can set up credit card if anyone needs it. Please either PM me or email me if you would like to order anything, and we can set it up! I and the future of the MGC thanks you!
