I got frustrated trying to find a grey joystick for my Atari XEGS computer and decided to design and 3D print some shells to convert a regular black one to grey. I made a few more kits and tossed them up on Etsy for $20 apiece + actual shipping. (Note: you must supply your own donor CX40 joystick!) These are durable PETG prints, designed to mate up with original Atari parts. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1481762807/atari-joystick-conversion-kit-grey

I'm after any reasonably priced good or better condition Hit Squad games for the C64. I'm open to Spectrum or Amstrad versions also. Or any other system as long as it is a Hit Squad I'd be interested. Also have an interest in Atlantis , Players and Hi-Tec games also... Feel free to email me a list of what you have and what you want. Thanks

This program is written on the Atari 8 Bit, put 36 hours into it, right now it works with Forem files , I need to know the file extensions BBS Express and BBS Express Pro text menu files. I have included my set of files from my BBS, just replace the 40 and 80 column files with your BBS files, it will work. The basic program, master.bas will load in what ever files you type in and will write out INVERSE video for each file you have loaded in. Update : Version 1.01A Uploaded , mainly cosmetic changes, everything is working. BBS Screen Creator Version 1.01A.zip

Hi everyone. I found these today at a yard sale for $1 each. I was curious of their values. I've tested the computer carts but not the 5200 one yet. The 5200 cart has no label. Wish I had these when I was repairing my 400s! Thanks.

I've been working on a new (well, it's been going on a while) project to bring a new game to the Atari. It is currently called "Escape the Night Garden" and can be viewed here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYArkNuj0L8 I would like to thank Miker for the music, I came across this track and just loved it, so I asked him if I could use it and he was happy to allow me to use the track. Thanks Miker! Please don't be too harsh, it's my first attempt at programming a full game in MADS. A lot of work still needs to be done to get it into a working game. It'll basically be a game where you have to get out of the maze (night garden in this case) by flicking switches in the right order and avoiding enemies (when they're fully programmed), I just need to get past a programming problem with MADS structs. I'll better the graphics later, add a title screen, DLI's for more colour, extra levels, sprite animation, possibly more music if memory allows, additional fonts for more varied graphics and add a status bar at the bottom. At the moment you can also walk through walls, obviously that needs to be sorted. Levels (24 screens) are compressed down to around 450 bytes. That'll take up more when colour schemes, disappearing doors and enemies are implemented.

So it begins, or continues. Trying to sell a knock-off, Best , B&C, or Video61 cart as an actual prototype. And those asses certified it! These are everywhere. $19.95 http://www.ebay.com/itm/1984-ATARI-800-XL-XE-SUPER-PAC-MAN-PROTOTYPE-GAME-CARTRIDGE-VGA-NG-CERTIFICATE-/131774181268?hash=item1eae5a6f94:g:7voAAOSwAKxWUPC9

8 bit Indus GT Disk Drive for Atari 8 Bit Computers
Serpentor posted a topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD I have recently acquired an 800XL that came with this rare (in working condition) disk drive. Tested and works. Looks fantastic. This is a much better drive than the stock 1050 with more options and better internals. My price is based on sales history for top condition units on internet auctions. $125 shipped in the USA. I can work out shipping to other destinations if there is interest. -
Hello, first topic to the forums, please excuse me if I unknowingly break some rules. I would like to see if anyone has an Atari 800XL they would be willing to part with, complete with power supply and maybe some software (this would be my first unit of this type). Please respond to this topic or pm me to discuss details. My goal is to have a working unit in decent, but not necessarily perfect, condition. For reference, I live in the US and am looking for a US NTSC unit. Thanks for reading, any tips or ideas are appreciated.

I saw a 800XL in my local game shop, but it was over $100. I don't know how much they're worth, but that seems a bit much. So, I've become intrigued by the A8 line recently and wouldn't mind having one. My preference would be a 600XL or 800XL as they have a smaller footprint and look nice. It doesn't matter which one you have if you just want to play games, right? The 16k in the 600 isn't a limiting factor? I would want one with a power supply and some way to hook it up to a TV. I honestly don't know how they connect, do they have AV cables or RF or a switchbox? Disc or tape drives aren't necessary ATM. Right now I'd just want to screw around with carts. I also do not need any joysticks. If anyone can help me out, shoot me a pm. Thanks!

Wondering if any one on here with knowledge of old chips might know anything about this cpu? I was Striping and old teletype I got at a thrift store for parts. It had a the Intel M80c31f chip and I did a quick google on it. I found some specs and read that it has an 8 bit architecture. I was just curious if any old 8 bit computers used this chip and if it was worth saving for anything?

http://youtu.be/_cRIFhsMSTU Just did this mod the other night. It was simple but great. It almost feels like I'm cheating with this thing. I played the ASTROIDS! emulator and centipede with it. It's crazy I can do this rocking thing where If I time it right I can tick my movements around with real precision. You can't go to fast or the atari doesn't seem to get it. But if I click click away at the right speed it almost feels like I can move fame for frame on centipede and my asteroids game has gotten way better too! I didn't get the low profile switches like the dude in the video just cuz I cannibalized some switches from something I was tossing out. I will get low profile next time cuz I had to modify the bottom of my joystick skeleton and my button a lot more than the dude in the video did, and it was a pain in the ass. The results were still awesome.

Im looking for an atari motherboard and power supply for an upcoming project. I may even be interested in a parts computer. Any model would be considered.

Hi All, What is the appeal of new games on old systems, like the Atari XE/XL and 2600? Discuss here or answer this question: http://www.facebook....51278334226747/. Thanks in advance! Shaun.
