  1. ProjectY It's ProjectY - the RPB you've been waiting for since the 90s! WIP @ 's Magical Game Factory. The Origins For the first time ever, fans of retro consoles are getting exactly the game they want! And they want a RPB! Investors, as they are called, have used their voting power to shape ProjectY to their own liking. Their first poll result was to make a game for the Mega Drive/Genesis. Then came the decision to make the game a RPB (Role-Playing-Brawler). The final big turn for the project was the setting, which the investors decided should be cyberpunk. With these defining poll results, ProjectY started to take shape while additional minor polls followed. Development is currently ongoing; you can still join ProjectY and shape the game by voting, submitting your ideas and discussing the project on the boards! 40MEG Obtained with fervor by the investors, we can guarantee the game will have a bare minimum 40 megabits cartridge. ProjectY is joining the small club of High Density Cartridges (also known as the "big, black cartridges"). This will be at least the second biggest Mega Drive/Genesis game ever, after WaterMelon's own Pier Solar! With this much storage at our disposal, we can make the ultimate 16-bit beat 'em all! Also obtained by the investors, the game will feature four playable characters, one of them to be unlocked. The Context ProjectY takes place in a post-apocalyptic world, set in an Asian high-tech metropolis. The last survivors of the nuclear war are divided into several classes, where the most powerful have the others by the balls. This has divided the governing bodies into several fractions, where ethnic mafias and a corrupt corporation are just a few of them! As you can see, this story is filled with many possible scenarios. It will demand lots of exploring and several playthroughs to get everything out of it. WHY SHOULD I JOIN AND INVEST? How do I join a project? If a project is open to join, you can join by investing at least one GEM into the project. What are GEMS? How much do they cost? GEMS are Watermelon's currency. As for now, one GEM is equal to 10 cents (USD) with the possibility of changing later on. You can use GEMS to invest in a project. If you earn some GEMS, you can use them to get discounts on products, get coupons, etc. What do I get for my investment in a project? Magical Game Factory investments offer access to voting and conversion features. How much do I have to invest to save myself one copy of the game? 500GEMS (USD 50) for one edition of the game reserved exclusively to Investors. 4. Don't even get me started on the confusion over the Sparkster sequels - that'll be a whole different episode! For now enjoy Rocket Knight Adventures, a game that in my opinion is an absolute Sega Genesis classic.
  5. A homebrew game for Sega Genesis by Big Evil Corp.!
  6. I need to show this system more love!
  7. I ended up getting two copies of Tanglewood, one that I opened and have enjoyed playing over the last few months and one that I left sealed, and I've decided to put the sealed copy up for sale or trade. SOLD!
  8. Just like the title says, I'm looking for one of these little doodads: Must include the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive Model 2 adapter plate and be in nice condition with all the white lettering intact and the dust cover hinges undamaged, and working properly of course. If anyone has one they'd like to sell I'm offering $100 USD + postage for it via PayPal, and I will pay the cost for international shipping from Europe or Australia to the United States if needed. Thanks for taking the time to view my post and just send me a PM if you have a Master System Converter II that you'd be up for selling.
  9. Piko Interactive is a game development and publishing company that concentrates in the development of new games for old consoles. 11. The new game of Alain Prudhomme (Vetea) for Sega Genesis / Mega Drive is on the way! Bomb on Basic City Special Edition has a lots of improvements, new levels, enhanced graphics, two player mode, zombie mode, etc. And a demo of Papi Commando Tennis is offered on the same cartridge as a bonus! Bomb On Basic City is published by Côté Gamers, a French editor who has already published different games: Knight'n More on ColecoVision and Escape 2042 on Atari ST. More to come in the next months, on different machines too ! Don't wait to preorder it, the delay is really short, until tomorrow evening for American people. Of course, there will be few copies left after the delay but don't really count on this: there will only around 10 copies left. Please note that the edition has two box labels and two cartridge stickers, for NTSC and PAL versions and a great little book about the makingof! Also a free playable demo is placed on the official website, you can download it and test yourself a part of the game. The preorder page is the following one (direct link): https://goo.gl/1CxWey Here are the details with this image:
  12. From the album: SkullBlade's collection.

I probably should stop getting hold of these now. On the plus side, I will never need to bother modding them with region switches I guess lol.

  15. I'm trying to find a crate like the one in this auction, only without the sports games. http://rover.ebay.co...=item1c33a92f4b edit---- ended up making a deal with seller. 15 for the crate and the Sonic game plus 10 for shipping.
  16. Yesterday the people of 1985alternativo, responsible for Watman (GBA) and Oh Mummy Genesis (Mega Drive) have announced their next project. The game will once again be a Mega Drive game, and in a genre that the hardware was made for: a shoot'em up. It's called Antarex and will be your typical horizontally scrolling shmup. No price or release date are known at this time, but seeing 1985alternativo's previous releases we can expect it to be very cheap, probably no more than 30 Euros. All there is to share about it as of yet is the first two screenshots: http://www10.pic-upload.de/13.05.13/tb5v5brwjuwt.jpg[/img]
