  1. I'm not sure why they went with classic Mega Man instead of X, but I played Mega Man 7 to make it appropriate.
  2. Papa

    3DO cabinet

    From the album: Custom Arcade

This cabinet houses a 3DO, Super Nintendo (region modded) with a Pro Fighter X disk system, a RetroPort (NES compatibility), and a RetroGen (Sega Genesis compatibility)!! It uses a 3DO to SNES controller adapter.

  3. I have been buying and selling on eBay for about 8 years now. Lately I have been looking at purchasing various old games, but the other bidders are either scammers, have money to waste, or don't understand how much something is really worth.... The past few days various auctions have been high as hell, and crap like this is starting to piss me off because it is setting a higher standard for other sellers. Am I the only one that feels like eBay is starting to get a bit worthless? I feel craigslist is the only place inline that has decent deals nowadays.
  4. All Found, Thank You! While I wait on the Colecovision---, my Payday is coming up again on the 2nd so looking into prices on some things and maybe hoping to make a deal! Some general notes I have when I look at buying consoles. I don't mind ugly consoles when it comes to physical condition (Missing labels. Torn of decorative metal bars, etc.), all I care about is: If it stays together and if it works well and say, doesn't need to be given a minor fonzi poke to run (Hitting it, etc.). Though I do expect said condition to be taken into account when suggesting a price. (In either direction!). When I ask 'and some games' I'm not /picky/ though (So this may be a good chance to sell some games you'd have trouble selling otherwise I guess? Idk!) I do prefer action/adventures/shumps/platformers/arcade games and don't care for sports much however. An Atari 7800 + Hookups and some Games Basically, as it says. Looking for an Atari 7800, It's hookups + at least one original controller for it (The Proline) and a few games. Common games are fine just as long as they work-- but I DO want 7800 specific games, since I have enough 2600 games for now. Deal Made! A Super Nintendo + Hookups and some Games. I consider this less of a priority than the 7800, but still looking for it as a key point of rebuilding my old collection. Looking for the system, it's hook ups. (AV Cable preferred. Will accept RF just fine.) at least one controller (can be third party, as long as it works.) and some games. Intellivison Games I'm specifically looking for someone who might sell me some games in a small bundle at a good price. The current games I currently have (and therefore, not interested in) are listed on my collection page in this link here under 'Intellivision Games'. There are some games I'm specifically looking for, Mainly, Nightstalker, Space Armada, Astrosmash and Pac-Man- though I'd be interested in seeing what others you might have.Deal Made! As I said, I get paid on the 2nd, so any closing of deals would need to wait until then, Please make a monetary offer, and we can work from there! Wanting to hear offers. PMs welcome. Links to what you have for sale welcome, etc, etc. It's all good. Worse comes to worse we can't agree and no hard feelings because that's how deals work sometimes~. Thanks for your time!
  5. Welcome to my Summer Sale! I will be thinning out a few things in my overall collections. *NOTHING RIGHT NOW - SORRY! CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES* (last updated 2-15-2019) I have plenty of positive feedback on eBay and here. Will ship within 48 hours of received/cleared payment. All games, manuals and boxes are clean tested and packaged with care. Any other questions, just ask. PayPal or Cash (if local) only, please. Thanks!
  6. I am lacking a second controller for my Super Nintendo due to sales of spare systems I had. I thought I had one more but I guess I didn't. Send me a PM and tell me about or show me pictures of any wear. As long as it is fully functional and you don't have to jam any of the keys in in order to get the buttons to work I'm ok with it. I don't care if it's yellowed or has the "Super Nintendo" logo wearing off. I'm going to see how many offers I get and take the cheapest one.

  8. Like the title says, I'm looking for an US model Super Nintendo system in nice condition. By that I mean no yellowing, little in the way of scratching on top, both rubber feet on the bottom present, and an OEM power supply, composite cables, and a scratch-free OEM controller included. Price wise I'm up for paying around $60 to $65 shipped via PayPal, which seems to be what really nice looking Super Nintendos are going for on eBay at the moment. As far as games and accessories go I'd also be interested in a minty Super Advantage arcade stick and cart only copies of Star Fox, Doom, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past with mint labels, or perhaps the keys of Barad-dûr itself; along with the crowns of the seven kings and the rods of the five wizards. Okay, maybe I'm asking a little much with those last few, but suffice it to say condition is important to me. Thanks for taking the time to view my thread and just shoot me a PM if you're interested in selling.
  9. Possibly the best thing I've ever owned since my Atari 7800 flash cart (which broke sadly and I never got around to fixing - because I'm afraid I'd break it even more trying to fix - the cart slot slipped and fell into it).
  10. I am trying to get a replacement shell for my super nintendo - mine is missing screws and some of the screw posts are broken off on my top shell. The replacement one must be in very good condition with no screw posts damaged. I will be willing to pay 10 dollars flat (No extra for shipping).
  11. Hey guys, I am interested in buying a lot of gamecube games and or trading for them. I have a ton of SNES, PS3, Wii, DS, Xbox 360, and Vita games available for trade as well as an ambassador's 3ds and a dsi for offer. I sold my entire collection of my childhood gamecube games around 4 years ago but I want to repurchase a lot of the games I played during my childhood so I am interested in pretty much any game. I only kept pac man world 3 and super smash bros melee but I still need a new manual for melee if anyone has one. please message me with what you have thanks!
  12. With the Super NT coming out... I got some items to sell. Framemeister Bundle $280 shipped (SOLD) SNES bundle $90 shipped (SOLD) EDIT - Hot damn that went fast! THANKS FOR PLAYING!
  13. I have a SNES that needs repaired. I've done repairs before and have replaced things such as the transistor and the pico fuse, but that doesn't solve the problem here. When testing with a multimeter, I get voltage in the solder points at the DC jack, but they don't seem to travel any further. I'm not getting anything at the C30 and C31 points. When researching, I've seen a few people say that it's a decoupling capacitor, but they don't say the voltage that it is (well ONE place said that C31 was .01uf 50v, but nothing on C30. Is 31 positive and 30 is negative?) or how to replace it. There was one guy at Assembler Games (https://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?53079-SNES-No-Power-%28not-fuse%29) that seemed to have had the same issue, but it got difficult to follow. He started talking about "anodes" and cathodes", but I'm not sure if it still pertained to the C30 and C31 points. Then said he replaced the diode (with a 1n4001), but never said what diode he replaced, so I'm not sure if it still had anything to do with those points. I've been searching the internet trying to find any information at all on this. Console5.com doesn't even have the capacitor listed and that's where I usually go to find what capacitor I need to buy to replace in the consoles and handhelds. Anyone have any information on how to go about replacing this part? Any help (even if it's just to pointing to another forum) would be greatly appreciated.
  14. A few months ago I decided to buy and try and fix old video game consoles. In retrospect... This was a pretty big mistake. I bought a lot, ended up with more than I could possibly do, managed to get many running but others were unfixable (IE all those random consoles and game stuff I gave away on the free thread) That isn't the point though! Point is to show off some of the work I've done and how terrible I feel at painting (although they don't look THAT bad). I am also open to tips and suggestions for future work as well as giving out any tips from what I've learned in my experience. Here's a few of the main images to show. My first attempt to paint a SNES! Went really well minus the Eject Button. (Bit of a story there) My second attempt at a SNES paint job! It went better than the first and dubbed... IRON MAN SNES! 8U Then I painted a few Game Boy and Game Boy Advance shells. (Only have pictures for these two at the moment.) My personal Game Boy Color with a fancy glass screen and everything! A Game Boy Advance Shell that's part of a "work in progress". A Sega Genesis controller I painted on a whim. Too bad the controller doesn't work well... And today's latest creation!... A Kingdom Heart's themed NES. (Don't ask why Kingdom Hearts got involved, it just did.) Also features a fancy Purple LED power light! Here's the gallery with the rest of the images associated with this project ------> Project Dreamfall (Don't ask why I call it that... I don't know.) Biggest tip I offer now? Be patient with paint. Just because it feels and looks dry doesn't mean you won't leave several fingerprints in it as you attempt to move it. -_-
  15. I updated the firmware to 1.8 this afternoon and tested it out. It works beautifully!
  16. So long story short, I'm cleaning out my closet of items I don't want or need. Almost everything here is free with the cost of shipping. There's a few items I'll have a price on, but most of it's going to be free in general. For the first three days, I'm going to limit how many free items you can claim. (This is to keep someone from just trying to claim everything and/or a majority in one shot.) Then I'll wait for three days to ship anything to give the free claiming people a chance to basically go to town on whatever is left. (Also to be sure I have proper packing material and boxes for what I'm shipping and to whom I'm shipping to.) After a week goes past, I'm going to toss anything that doesn't find a home. All games below have been tested and work. Any parts/pieces below should be in decent condition and are simply spare parts I've pulled off of items. I can give better details and pictures of anything upon request. AGAIN! Only a few of the items below have a price tag and most other things are simply being given away. I do require shipping money but that shouldn't be too bad. Final note!... Apologizing now for the order of the list here. There are a lot of random items, and I'm not putting it in any kind of specific order. EDIT - Added a few more items I found and forgot to post up. Nothing too fancy I'm afraid at this point. Newest items are at the top. BE SURE TO POST WHAT YOU ARE CLAIMING BEFORE YOU SEND A MESSAGE! Pokemon Black and White guide, Black and White 2 guide, and Black and White Pokedex. A card game I backed on Kickstarter. It's kind of a card-improv game. There are multiple ways to play, but basically it comes down to you describe how the person/creature/whatever on your card would win a fight. It need some work. (Also the company that made it went under COMPLETELY! LOL) Icewind Dale (Complete in Box) - It has everything with it, and it's all in great condition! I couldn't really test this one out, but the discs look very nice and mint. $8 I also have 8 spare computer power cables. Not sure how or even where I got them all at this point... (Nobody seems interested in these I guess? lol) Half a NDS lite shell and the buttons. Yeaaaah, I attempted to make a GBA Macro, DS phat, whatever you want to call it and failed. Here's the nicely painted bottom half and the buttons. Also have one of the speakers, the battery, the wifi adapter from inside it, and a replacement screen for a GBA SP. Also the screws! And finally... some music CDs and cassette tapes! Nothing overly wonderful here, but it all works so.... yeah. CDs left - Scott Pilgrim soundtrack and Metric - Fantasies.
