I know that you probably remember Novotrade's infamous port of Castlevania for the Amiga. Well, I just found this homebrew AGA version that shows what it should have been: Granted, I haven't covered the Amiga homebrew scene very much, but kudos to Dante Retro Dev for realizing untapped potential.

Selling what I believe to be 55 Amiga diskettes. These were sold as Atari ST however the titles of some of the diskettes and the fact that I can not read them on my Atari ST make me think these are for Amiga. Rather than format these for Atari I would rather sell them to an Amiga geek 😃 Asking $1 each plus shipping in the U.S. only. Make an offer. I have no idea if these are good or not since I do not have an Amiga. UPDATE: I used a Greaseweazle to create .adf files (Amiga format disk files) and most of these diskettes read 100% of the sectors. Only about 8 of the 55 diskettes had a few sectors that would not read. I am new to the Greaseweazle so I may be doing something wrong. Anyhow... 47 of the 55 diskettes read good !! Make me an offer before I reformat these for use with my Atari ST Thanks for looking

Spheroid is a puzzle game in which you guide a metal sphere around a maze of tiles towards the exit tile, within a time limit and set number of moves. The maze is comprised of various hazards and tile types, each having a different effect on the metal sphere. There are 50 levels to solve. Spheroid will run on any OCS/ECS/AGA Amiga with at least 1Mb of RAM and AmigaOS versions 1.2 up to 3.2. It can be run directly from floppy disk or installed to hard disk. The game is free, but a donation is welcome which will be used to maintain and expand original hardware. https://andyvaisey.itch.io/spheroid

Excellent condition Amiga 2000 NTSC computer setup. Comes with the original box! I am the second owner. I have run programs on this computer with the floppy emulator, and it works great! There is a hardcard installed, but I haven't used it. Includes everything pictured plus a few floppy disks. $800. Pickup is preferred (Boise ID area), but I might be able to accommodate shipping. If you have any questions please feel free to message me. Thanks and have a wonderful day!

I wanted to create a cable to connect my Amigas to my Atari SC1224 color monitor. I found a few forum posts on the issue: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=80003 http://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?t=30991 http://atariage.com/forums/topic/189852-how-to-find-a-good-amiga-500/ But nothing with the actual schematic. It should be straightforward, but the poster in the English Amiga Board post stated he was having problems, and someone suggested taping the CSYNC line instead. Anyway, I made a cable with a simple RGBHV and GND connection from the Amiga to the SC1224 and it works beautifully. I added audio too by tying left and right audio together and feeding them to pin 1 of the Atari monitor. Here is the schematic: And here are some results: I figured I would add this here for anyone else wondering if there is some weird magic to connecting an SC1224 to an Amiga. There isn't. The only surprise was that the original Amiga RGB video cable I tried to use as a donor does not carry HSYNC and VSYNC at all. I has to sacrifice an Amigakit RGB to SCART cable in the end too. So far at least though it works great and looks beautiful. Graham

This was recommended to me: The game's creator Pixelplop has considered restarting development, but in C instead of Blitz Basic.

Hello! I have an rev 6a Amiga 500 with a Romulator Kickstart ROM adapter and a TF536 installed. I'm trying to install a MiniADF, designed by Piotr Gozdur, into my machine. It is not working properly. The unit is v1.0 with v 0.6 firmware. The SD card is formatted FAT32, as required. I have a few ADFs on the SD card. The display on the MiniADF is working, and I can scroll through the files and select them without an issue. If I have the internal floppy drive connected instead of the MiniADF, the floppy drive works fine. If the floppy power cable is connected to the MiniADF when I turn on the Amiga, no FDD is detected at all. If I leave it unplugged until after the machine has started booting from my hard drive, it detects a FDD but the DF0: is always unreadable. (AmigaTestKit image below). It does not matter which Kickstart ROM I use... (1.3, 3.1, 3.x or 3.2). Does anyone have any experience with the MiniADF? Does anyone know how I can contact Piotr Gozdur? Any suggestions on what I should do next?

I'm wondering if anyone has ever tested an Amiga Tank mouse with an Amiga CD32 where you plug the mouse on the second controller port. Was the mouse compatible? I speak out of curiosity.

The Amiga is a family of personal computers sold by Commodore in the 1980s and 1990s. Based on the Motorola 68000 family of microprocessors, the machine has a custom chipset with graphics and sound capabilities that were unprecedented for the price, and a pre-emptive multitasking operating system called AmigaOS. Although early Commodore advertisements attempt to cast the computer as an all-purpose business machine, especially when outfitted with the Amiga Sidecar PC compatibility add-on, the Amiga was most commercially successful as a home computer, with a wide range of games and creative software.

Well , was there a 'time' you saw (or heard) something on the Amiga that made you want one immediately!? For me, it was the 'vaporware' Video Toaster... Before that, hell, even PT Modules blew me away! I remember seeing VideoScape 3d, then Lightwave, (YEARS later) I'm like OMFG! Your Amiga 'definining' moment, if you will ....

I called this rare but these are not more special than part two of the mixed zone. Offcourse my most valuable is x-man which i also own a manual and box and laser-loop which is the expensive version of z-tack of bomb (it's also packed with a bomb case). Also happy with Galactic (condor attack) and Galaxy Defender (nexar). Well basically i am happy with all but these were never bought as quantitive addition...

After 2 long years my Amiga CD32 Digital Encyclopedia (found here https://screenpedia.online/?product=album ) is finally finished! I would like to thank everybody that helped along the way whether it was answering one of my hundreds of questions or simply lending support. As a thankyou to the Amiga community I have added a discount code "amigalove" that can be added at the checkout to save around 28% off the purchase. Lastly for those that purchase the book and find any mistakes or missing facts about any of the games I will fix them and release an updated version at no extra charge for life. I hope you enjoy the Amiga CD32 Digital Encyclopedia!

I started this because I was wondering, "What were the last commercially released games for the Amiga?" I know that Psygnosis released Wipeout and Wipeout 2097/XL on that platform. Therefore, as a former Amiga owner, it was time to start a discussion on the late releases for the system.

For Sale Mouse Master by Practical Solutions for the Atari St or the Amiga. Tested and working great in an Atari ST. Once you use one of these you will never want to be without it. You will never need to lift up the ST to plug in the very awkward mouse and joystick ports up under the keyboard. Asking $50 + you pay shipping of $9 in the U.S.

Found over on EAB, a great interview with Ton Roosendaal concerning the history of Blender and how it began on an Amiga 2000 -- in GFABasic, no less! (My favorite BASIC.) Check it out here and also check out the free download of Traces, the original program.

Hi all, I recently wrote a piece on Jack Tramiel and the battle over Amiga between Atari and Commodore. There's a huge amount of Commodore material from that era. Books, sites, talks, interviews, the lot. I really struggled to find much on the Atari side of the story. There's documentation about the ST's architecture and a really good video from the 1985 CES where the 130ST was introduced. I'm more interested in the story behind the people, the fights, the arguments, blood, sweat and tears that led to the Atari ST's release in 1985. Does anyone have any recommended books or sources they'd recommend?
