As you may (or might not) know, Coleco was supposed to release Vanguard for the ColecoVision back in the 80s It sadly became one of the many vaporware announced by Coleco For years, CollectorVision strived to release prototypes, unreleased and vaporware games announced by former Coleco In fact, we made it our very own commitment! Well, today I'm happy to announce yet another former vaporware game! That's right! We're finally bringing Vanguard to the ColecoVision, and we're very proud to bring you to MOST ACCURATE home conversion of Vanguard! It even includes the famous original speech synthesis, music and sfx We're also not afraid to tell you it compares in term of quality to Pac Man Collection and Mario Bros CV version, in other words..... it's arcade perfect! Yes, it is that much good!! The cartridge is 128K and is packed with full goodness! What else can I say, other than you'll have to play it to believe it! ''The best is yet to come''

I have had "Matt Patrol" for years, and am wondering if Moon Patrol not only has different enemy graphics (brassieres to ships), but has any missing elements added, such as the "moon plants" in the craters during the Professional courses.

Joust. In 1988, it was THE main reason I purchased the then relatively recently released Atari 7800 at Kay-Bee Toys in the Jefferson Valley mall. I was a huge fan of the arcade version, owned the 2600 version, and so bought the 7800 along with Joust- to me, Pole Position 2 was just a bonus. It was some years later, probably around 1998, when I stumbled across a 5200 at a town-wide garage sale. It took some effort repairing the broken controller plugs, but it was well worth it for Berzerk, Qix, Defender, and a few others. Some time later I found Joust for it, and while obviously not as good as the 7800 version, was still nice enough to play. I also played the NES version, which was great, but not quite up to the 7800 version- the latter just had more of the "essence" of the original somehow. Then in 2001 I found out about Joust for the ColecoVision. Although only a screenshot and description, it was still very impressive, and what struck me as curious was that it was supposed to have been released in 1983- and that it, like Galaxian, was superior to the 5200 version.Too bad it was never finished. Then it finally was completed. So- having had enough money- I bought a copy. It did not disappoint. Although the sound of two opponents meeting at equal height is missing and the pteradactyl looks a bit crude, it is overall better than the 5200 version, most notably the way the enemies move and the character graphics. Although the sound is a bit more complete on the 5200 and the tree stump on the bottom of the playfield is closer to the arcade on the 5200, the CV wins out, even if there are never more than five enemies onscreen at once. I also like the title screen. Absolutely superb. What makes this game unusual was that it was a "keystone" game. The reason I bought a 7800 was for Joust. Had this game come out in 1983 for the CV, especially along with Dig Dug and Pac Man, and had I known about games like Boulder Dash and Fortune Builder; and had Lord of the Dungeon been released...I never would have bought a 7800. It was Joust that really did it. Was there ever a game which, had it come out on the CV back then, would have prevented you from purchasing another system?

Hi guys I'm still working on a brand new Colecovision game called: Sacred Tribe You're an adventurer who has been travelling to South America seeking for treasures During one night, you've been captured and made prisoner by a Sacred Tribe Even if they don't want to hurt you, they won't let you free either..... Your only way to escape is to collect at the very least 100 Diamonds so you'll be able to open the Sacred Door. Featuring: - 100% all original game - 8 different enemies - Intro story - Over 100 different screens - Secrets - Classic arcade gameplay - Great replay value I'll keep posting progress of the game here

EDIT - I just increased the font size as I did not realize how tiny the font was yesterday when I copied and pasted the text from Notepad! Also, CIB obviously means Complete In Box, but for other abbreviations R = Rarity, C = Cart, I = Instructions, B = Box and O = Overlay. Post and questions or hold requests in this thread or PM me. I recently began organizing my game collection and taking inventory which resulted in realizing I had much more than I need. Several duplicate items were found which I have decided to list for sale. These will be listed here for a week and then off to eBay with those that do not sell. As prices are listed below, shipping will be actual shipping costs however I will reduce shipping costs by $1 for every $20 spent up to the total of all shipping costs. Ex: purchase $140 and shipping costs will be reduced by $7 up to but not more than free shipping. More may be added later, but these are definitely for sale. PM me with the items you want, first come first serve. Payment through PayPal. Atari 2600 Asteroids Sealed - R1 $7.00 Atari 2600 Asteroids Sealed - R1 $7.00 SOLD - Atari 2600 E.T. ARE YOU READY FOR SOME NEW CASTLEVANIA!?! So I did a google news search of "Castlevania", and supposedly there are two new titles coming out. The first is a sequel to Lords of Shadow, and is rumored to be available on the Vita and upcoming Wii U. The second is a platformer for the 3DS, which was described as a platformer with two playable charecters and a co-op mode. I'm not sure if this refers to simultanious New SMB type co-op, or weird Portrait of Ruin co-op. I am very excited for some new Castlevania handheld titles, as these are long overdue. Metroidvania seems to fit in with Nintendo portable like a fish to water. I'm not too sure how I feel about the LoS 2 game for Vita; my gut tells me that it will end up being a lot like the 360 release, visually stunning but not much of a game. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing a platformer on the Vita either. Anyone who has played Rayman Origins can attest to the the Vita's platforming chops. Comment and speculate away!
